RWBY: Survival

"D-don't... hic... leave!!" Pyrrah clutched on Sapphire's cloak with tears in her eyes, Sapphire now eight smiled wryly, "Shh shh don't cry" He ċȧrėssed her back as she cried loudly in his arms. His lips twitched when he looked behind him and saw Summer watch with a slight grin, beside his mom was the parents of Pyrrah who had grins on their faces aswell.

He silently asked them to help him to which they shrug and continued helping Summer pack there bags. He placed both his hands on the cheeks on the crying Pyrrah and smiled, "Hey, it's not like we aren't going to see each other again. So don't cry" He said

Pyrrah's sobs silenced as the only sign that she was still crying was her shoulders shaking up and down, she rubbed her eyes removing her falling tears and hugged Sapphire tightly, Sapphire giggled and pat her back, "This isn't a goodbye, it's a see you later." They hugged it out and seperated two minutes later.

Pyrrah sadly smiled, "Well then, I'll... see you later" She stretched out her hand as Sapphire took it and flashed her a bright smile making her blush, "Right, see you later Pyr" He walked away leaving a red Pyrrah to herself. She watched his back as he and his mom left, placing her hand on her ċhėst she smiled, 'we'll see each other again Saph and maybe...'

She blushed and shook her thoughts away, she went back inside and decided to train to get her mind off some things. Sapphire and Summer got off the car as they walked to the airship, sitting on the chairs Sapphire yawned. Yesterday he and her mother went out to relax, he remembered that he fell asleep on a bench laying down on his mother's ŀȧp.

When he woke up he saw a lot of destroyed trees, burnt grass, some ice, and vines grown on the grass. He was confused as he didn't hear anything when he was asleep, he asked his mother what had transpired but all he got was a shrug.

Summer put their bags beside him as she sat down, she grabbed her phone and called someone. He thought of listening in to her conversation but decided against it and put on his headphones, and read some books that he bought with the allowance Summer gave him.

A few hours passed as they slowly close in to Atlas, He closed his book and roamed around the ship while also interacting with a few huntsmen on board. The ship slightly tremble making him frown, he has a very bad feeling about this and rushed back to where his mom was.

When he arrived he saw his mom with her weapon in hand standing, "Mom ae you okay?" He asked, Summer didn't answer as her eyes wonder around the airship. The ship then trembles with more intensity than before as the voice of the pilot was heard.

"We are being attacked by a group of Nevermores! Any huntsmen on board please go to the turrets on the side of the ship!" Summer immediately used her semblance to a turret, manning it she quickly shot down the Nevermores who were attacking them.

"Hold on to me tightly and clench your teeth!" Summer ordered, Sapphire followed what his mother said. The airship then crahes into some large rock formations as parts of the airship detach, he felt his mom's grip loosen slightly.

Sapphire didn't have time to grab his mother before feels something pull him away from his mother as Summer quickly tried to catch him, "SAPPHIRE" He heard before he lost consciousness. Waking up with a gasp he looks around and saw he was on the snowy ground,

"MOM!" He shouted, he shakily stood up and limped towards the wreckage, he clicked his tongue knowing that his Aura shattered on his fall. It was good that the snow broke some of the fall and left him able to someehat walk, "Violet you there?" he questioned.

"Father I'm here!" He heard as he turned to the direction of the voice, he saw Violet on a part of the airship with one of his legs detached and arms slightly cracked, "Are you okay?" Violet nodded but then became sad, "I'm sorry father it seems that my flying modules have been damaged"

Sapphire took Violet and placed him om his shoulder, "That's okay, we will fix you later but first we got to find mom" He said, Violet nodded as Sapphire continued to limp towards the wreckedge. On the way he saw his weapon Midnight Edge on the floor next to a crushes body.

He felt nauseous but kept it in, he picked up his weapon and sadly looked at the body, "Violet do me a favor and call Roman for me, tell him our situation and ask him for help" Violet nodded as his eyes turned into ones and zeroes.

He then summoned his clones and ordered them to spread out and search for Summer, "Mom please be safe...."
