S-Class Dungeon's Mistress
Chapter 164
“What? When?”
Adelaide’s eyes widened. He hadn’t mentioned anything like this before she went to Helheim, so it meant that he met him recently. After Caladium confessed to her.
“Two days ago, in Esperanza.”
“That’s surprising. We never met him there before.”
“I was looking for Adele so it was only natural for me to meet him.”
“That…… What did you talk about?”
She asked hesitantly, fearing that Lisianthus and Caladium might’ve quarreled again.
“I told him that Adele was missing, mentioned the signal from the artifact and asked if he knew where you were.
That’s why Lisian wasn’t too surprised when I mentioned that I had been to Helheim. That’s why he sincerely apologized. Adelaide looked up at him with worried eyes.
“He looked as shocked as I did and then suddenly threw his fireballs at me. He shouted at me saying that it’ll be my fault if Adele dies. That’s when I found out you had reached Helheim. And how dangerous the power of Helheim is.”
Lisianthus’ face contorted with guilt. He had mistakenly overlooked Helheim’s power.
Thinking about it rationally, it was certainly dangerous to suddenly acquire such a great power. However, there was so little information available that he somehow thought that if the n*mbskull Caladium could get it, then it shouldn’t be too difficult. It didn’t cross his mind.
“Well, Caladium seems to have noticed from talking to me that you were worthy of Helheim. We didn’t fight too hard, so don’t worry too much. Not only was I not in the mood for that, but it was true that I put you in danger. I have no excuses.”
What does not fighting ‘too hard’ actually mean? Adelaide pondered for a moment whether she should ask him, but stopped herself.
“No, it’s not Lisian’s fault at all. I didn’t tell you, so why would it be Lisian’s fault? Besides, I thought Lisian was the one who was qualified and told you to get it. And look at me, I’m fine. Stronger, even. So don’t be sorry for no reason!”
“That’s an order!” She added in a loud voice. Deliberately in a more cheerful tone, lest Lisianthus continue to feel guilty.
“……Adele, you are too kind. This time, you should blame me.”
“This is why I keep getting lax.” He murmured in a low voice.
“You’re just too strict with yourself, Lisian. I want you to be a little more lenient on yourself, just like how you are with me.”
Adelaide answered, cupping her face with his hands. They were big and warm. She wiggled herself deeper into his arms.
“Then Caladi still doesn’t know that I’m safe. I need to tell him right away – to not worry about anything. Should I report to the Dungeon Daily that I am now the owner of Helheim?”
“No, don’t do that, Adele.”
“Huh? Why?”
“The war against Los Halde is imminent. It would be more favorable to hide your power as much as possible.”
“But…… Caladi will be worried.”
“Wouldn’t it be better to let him know that I’m okay?” She mumbled, her eyebrows drooping.
“I will inform Caladium separately.”
“You yourself Lisian?”
“Yes. So let’s keep it a secret that Adele is back.”
“Hmm……. Okay, let’s do that.”
Lisianthus’ advice can’t be wrong. Adelaide nodded her head and replied. She was a little skeptical that he, who had a bad relationship with Caladium, would give him the message himself, but she believed that Lisianthus wouldn’t lie about something like that, so she decided to move on.
“But, Master. Did you tell that b*st*rd too?”
Lisianthus’ voice all of a sudden turned cold. He was still smiling, but he didn’t look very happy. Adelaide warily asked.
“What……?”
“I’m asking if you told him that you loved him too.”
The sight of him clenching his fists caught her eyes. Adelaide quickly shook her head and yelled.
“No! I haven’t yet!”
“Yet…….”
You’re going to do it one day. Lisianthus muttered in his mind and beamed.
Though he had made up his mind, fiery jealousy boiled over him. His stomach felt like it was burning when he imagined her blushing while saying ‘I love you’ to that Caladium j*rk.
However, he didn’t show it. He tried to curb his jealousy and smiled.
“Then I was the first you said ‘I love you’ to.”
“Yes, that’s right……?”
“Then I was the first to pierce through Master’s secret.”
“Ye-es.”
“Then that’s enough.”
Lisianthus smiled brightly.
In the past, he thought that nothing was more pathetic than putting importance to the word “first”. But now, that pathetic person has become himself. He childishly involved himself in everything through such useless monopoly. He wanted to take all of her firsts, and that desire just kept growing.
For that reason, Lisianthus, who was the first of the three to be told that he was loved by her, was pathetically satisfied with their relationship.
Adelaide looked into his eyes with a face all red. Somehow, she recalled that whenever Lisianthus teased her, he seemed to use the title ‘Master’ more than anything else. Also in a very p*rv*rted way.
“Going back to the war. I think Los Halde will invade Greenville sooner or later. The owner and her devil disappeared so they will try to take advantage of your absence.”
Lisianthus returned to his usual intelligent and rational strategist form, as if he hadn’t just acted like a crazy p*rv*rt, and advised her about the war against Los Halde.
Adelaide’s eyes widened as she focused on his words. Lisianthus’ analysis was almost never wrong.
After listening to his explanation, it seems that some justifications had already been made public while she was away. The testimony of Nut, the manager of Sol Dungeon, was one of them.
“As we expected, the remnants of Sol Dungeon attacked his home. Of course, since Nut’s family had been evacuated in advance, no one was hurt. And according to the information I’ve heard recently, Mierda is gathering forces to get revenge, but it’s nothing Master has to worry about. I’ll clean it up and come back soon.”
Cleaning up meant killing everyone soon. Adelaide didn’t stop nor oppose it, but instead clicked her tongue.
“If he stayed quiet I would have let him keep his life. He’s brought it onto himself. He’s just getting what he deserves. Is there anything else?”
“The day I met Caladium, the day before the master came, Ellie came to Greenville.”
“What?!”
Adelaide, who was sneaking a yawn due to her drowsiness, was so startled that she bit her tongue. Thanks to that, her sleepiness quickly disappeared.
“How did she get here? Are you saying she made it into the dungeon?”
“Yes. She seems to have used some kind of power and secretly infiltrated while Lupinus and I were not here. There’s a little bit of energy left. She probably came to check if the rumor that the master had vanished is true.”
“Gosh, I knew she was pretty strong, but……. that much?”
“I was also wondering about that. There is something strange about the magic I feel from her. Sometimes she’s at the level of a lower class demon, and other times she feels completely different. I don’t think she was hiding her powers like I did in the past……. It’s as if she becomes a completely different demon.”
“A completely different demon.” Adelaide frowned and muttered.
She had a similar feeling. Ellie, who was injured by Shavarma when he used his powers freely, felt very different when she sat across Adelaide. As Lisianthus said, it was as if she suddenly changed into another demon.
“I did some further research on her but didn’t get much information. It’s everything I reported to Master last time. Anyway, after checking her magic, I tightened the security several times more, so it will be difficult for her to break in now.”
“You said she came the day before…… Are you sure she is gone by now?”
It took her a while to grasp when two days ago was because they had s*x all night. Adelaide pounded her throbbing back thinking that they did it for such a long time last night. Before she could hit her back a few more times, Lisianthus reached out and massaged her back. She could feel the stiff pain melting away with the moderate intensity of the massage.
“Yes. It’s rather good for us. This is why I suspect that Los Halde will soon attack. They won’t get another chance like this.”
“That’s true. Because they didn’t see both Lisian nor Lupin present. They must have known that we were preparing for war.”
“I don’t think they will launch a full on attack like Sol Dungeon did, but they will definitely send quite a number of demons. We just need to get rid of them quickly and go straight to Los Halde.”
“Did you say that the number of demons belonging to Los Halde is similar to that of Sol?”
“Yes. However, the percentage of high level demons is significantly higher than that of the demons in Sol Dungeon. I’ll tell you more once we discuss the strategy in detail.”
Lisianthus patted her arms. Contrary to the radical topic, the hand massaging her arm was as gentle as that of a parent putting their baby to sleep. That was why she was sleepy again.
“Yawn, can we do it? Maybe Abaddon is coming to help…….”
“Don’t worry, Adele.”
Lisianthus closed her eyes and told her.
“I will now give you my all.”
It was an abrupt declaration, but Adelaide was not in a state where she could ask him what he all of a sudden meant. The moment she closed her eyes, sleep rushed in without resistance. She hadn’t slept properly for several days then had s*x with him for a full day as soon as she came back so she was really sleepy.
“Even if Adele doesn’t want that much.”
“Hnh…….”
“I won’t let you go even if you go back later and say it’s scary and burdensome. Just as I gave up my monopoly for the sake of Master, shouldn’t Master also give up something for me?”
Adelaide let out an even breath, groaning as if she was already asleep.
“For now, rest well, Master.”
As always, you can put things off for later. Lisianthus whispered in a soft voice.
