S-Class Dungeon's Mistress
Chapter 21
Chapter 21
Instantly, her spine shivered.
Come to think of it, why was the bed so unnecessarily large? She thought it was because the tiny Boraca was still hoping to grow taller one day, but… The intuition that that might not be the case came like a thunderbolt.
‘Oh, I need to get out of here!’
Adelaide carefully grabbed the key and turned around. And just as she was about to quickly enter the portal, her body suddenly bounced off, then the portal wobbled.
This meant someone was coming through.
Suddenly, her heart dropped to the floor.
There was no time to hide anywhere. That expensive portal worked as quickly as she came in, and in an instant, a demon appeared.
He was four times bigger than Adelaide, with thorns protruding from his skin.
[T/N: In a previous chapter it said three times bigger]
Her eyes met with Adolf, Boraca’s escort.
“Hah.”
I surrender! Adelaide wanted to say this, but she couldn’t. Before she could even part her lips properly, his big fists flew at her.
Boom!!
A loud sound as if her ears would explode rang throughout the dungeon. With it, shards of stones protruding from the wall headed for Adelaide.
The sharp shards scratched her body and blood dripped out. But Adelaide was unaware that her limbs had been cut. It was because she was so surprised.
‘I…’
Adelaide sank to the ground and looked up. She saw a wall that had been shattered. It was just where she had been standing.
‘I barely avoided it…!’
She didn’t intentionally dodge it, she fell from a wrong step. But that mistake saved her life.
Adolf, Boraca’s escort, smashed in the direction she had avoided. With just one punch. It seems that the rumor that he had power close to that of a high level demon was true.
Her spine felt cold at the thought that if she had been hit, her body would have been crushed to death immediately. She fell and her wounds throbbed everywhere. But now was not the time to focus on the pain. It was because a large demon was still shining in front of her with a ghastly glow.
Adolf opened his mouth, looking away for a moment to check Boraca’s condition.
“Boraca. Are you out of your mind?”
“Ugh… What the hell. Was today the day with you?”
“No. This succubus broke in.”
Adelaide listened to their meaningful conversation and looked around. The portal wasn’t too far away.
“You are lucky, Succubus. However…”
Adelaide threw herself towards the portal before he could even finish speaking. Waiting for the opponent to complete their speech were manners that should only be demonstrated if you were strong.
“How dare you!”
Adolf quickly caught up with her. Just as her long hair was about to be caught, her body suddenly disappeared.
She successfully entered the portal.
“The key, she took the key! Get her!”
Seeing that the vase had fallen over, Boraca cried out. Adolf, grasping the situation, crossed the portal and went after her.
‘How the hell did she get into this room? Obviously, there was a condition that only Adolf and I could enter…!’
He tried hard thinking about it, but there was no answer. He grew angrier at her.
I thought you looked pretty, and I tried to take care of you like Adolf, but you dare break into my room and use your powers? This is an obvious rebellion.
Furious, Boraca’s anger rose to the top of his head and without hesitation, pressed a button installed at his bedside. Then, an alarm rang throughout the dungeon.

Wang- Wang-
[Succubus Adelaide revolted. Catch her now!]
The bright red warning light turned on and off repeatedly, revealing the seriousness of the situation. Everywhere in the dungeon, Boraca’s voice resounded.
Thump. Thump. Thump. The sound of Adelaide’s heart grew louder in response to the loud alarm.
‘I’m screwed! I’m screwed!’
Adelaide panted and ran like a dog playing with a ball. I swear it’s the first time I had run so hard in my hundreds of years of life.
Her stamina had long since run out and her heart felt like it was going to explode, but she didn’t stop and kept her wobbly legs moving.
She had no choice but to do so. However, her speed has been decreasing because it was too hard. She looked behind her and saw Adolf fiercely chasing after her.
The sound of his footsteps was so loud that with every step he took, a thud echoed throughout the hallway. His blue eyes seemed to tear her to death. Is there a demon out there who would stop running after seeing this?
Adelaide ran and ran with all her might, but unfortunately, the distance from Adolf grew closer.
‘It isn’t too far from where Caladium is trapped…!’
She would probably see the portal soon after running for another 5 minutes. The problem was that she would likely be caught in 50 seconds.
The demon named Adolf seemed unwilling to keep her alive. Perhaps, as soon as she’s caught, he will crush her body to death.
She could feel death at the back of her neck. Adelaide had a gut feeling that this moment could be her last.
If it had been herself from a few weeks ago, she would have stopped right away and begged him to kill her in one blow so that she wouldn’t feel any pain. But last night, the wind that had made her feel uncomfortable for a long time, that ironic thing, once again filled her chest.
Adelaide couldn’t stop taking each step even though she knew it wouldn’t work anyway and that she would only suffer if she kept going.
Trembling, Lisianthus’ voice suddenly came to her dizzy mind.
“Didn’t you promise? If it’s dangerous, you’ll call me.”
How could I call you? If I call you, we’ll just die together.
Adelaide bit her lower lip.In he first place, even if she does call him there was no way he would suddenly appear. He doesn’t know what situation she’s in, nor where she was.
“Li, Si…”
Still, her lips kept moving due to her will. She knew it was no use calling him, but she just wanted to keep her promise right before she died.
“Huu, Sian. Haah.”
It was difficult for her to say the three syllables of his name because she was out of breath.
Adelaide squeezed her eyes shut as she felt Adolf’s large hand approaching the back of her neck.
“Lisian…!”
She suddenly smelled it. A warm and refreshing scent. Where did she smell this again? The landscape was drawn like a painting spreading in her dark mind.
Unknown flowers fluttering under the warm sunlight. Water seeping out of her ice-filled cup, and Adelaide turning her head as she sipped her sweet and savory tea.
And there Lisianthus was. Her manager, who met her gaze and smiled while arranging the tall leaves of grass.
Yes, it was the scent of Lisianthus.
“Yes, Master.”
A soft voice reached her ear. At the same time, hard skin wrapped around her body.
Did she hallucinate because she was so scared of dying? But this felt too real for that.
Adelaide muttered, “No way,” and opened her eyes.
“You called?”
Lisianthus’ face was in front of her. Neat eyebrows, a high nose bridge, long eyelashes, and sparkling golden eyes.
It was really him.
Adelaide stared blankly at the silver hair swaying in front of her. Was this for real? She couldn’t believe it. So she wanted to confirm it.
Poke.
Adelaide’s finger pierced Lisianthus. She was aiming for that impeccable, clean cheek, however, his body shook and her finger poked a different place.
It went to Lisianthus’ beautiful golden eye. The manager, to whom she was grateful for appearing before her, was mercilessly stabbed in the eye.
“Hic! Lisian, are you okay?!”
“I’m fine.”
The feel of his eyeball was so moist and vivid that Adelaide awakened at once.
Lisianthus maintained a smiling face even when his eyes were suddenly stabbed. He didn’t even bat an eye.
“But it can be dangerous, so hold on tight.”
Adelaide instinctively grabbed his arm and looked around her.
She felt dizzy for a moment. It was because the background went by too quickly.
Lisianthus was running while holding Adelaide. And in such a speed that she made her wonder if it was the same demon. Adolf, who had just been on the verge of grabbing her by the back of her neck, was gone in the blink of an eye.
‘How can you be so fast?’
Adelaide opened her mouth in amazement. It was only now that Lisianthus’ confident attitude made sense. He must have been hiding this talent.
“Oh, let me go around a bit.”
Lisianthus effortlessly changed directions.
If they go a little further, they’ll reach the place where Caladium was trapped. So why? Just as Adelaide was about to ask this question, a loud noise was heard from where they were heading.
“There! Get her!”
“Catch the succubus!”
They were the other demons working for Boraca. They would have been caught if they had run over there. Adelaide admired Lisianthus’ foresight and gave strength to her arms around him.
Lisianthus managed to avoid the attacks of the demons. But there were too many people chasing them to be reassured. She couldn’t even count them all.
‘What if we get surrounded like this?’
Adelaide rolled her eyes back out of anxiety. Soon, the empty eye sockets of the Skeletons glanced at each other. As if it was a signal, the skeleton captain suddenly collapsed.
“Aww!”
“Hey, Captain!”
Literally, the bones collapsed.
The other Skeletons tried to help him, saying that their captain had bad bones these days, but then they collapsed together. They were blocking the road so other demons could not pass.
Lisianthus took advantage of the gap and headed in the direction where Caladium was trapped.
“Don’t move right now!”
Boraca was very angry and kicked the Skeleton’s bones.
He was getting impatient. It was strange that she came into his room and took the key, but how did she know that direction? Did she come under orders from someone?
He got on top of Adolf and ordered him to follow them quickly. However, the speed of the Incubus was too fast to catch up to. He didn’t like him because it was the first time a man prettier than himself appeared in the dungeon. He got so angry and couldn’t stand it when he saw him evading him like that.
`It’s okay. I’ve locked the portal there…!’
This was his only comfort.
Even if they run so hard, the portal is already locked so they will become rats in a jar.
Boraca smiled contentedly as he imagined beating Adelaide’s fine body. The incubus will be forced into slavery.
But as he turned into the corner, the smile on his face disappeared.
Lisianthus and Adelaide disappeared.
He was sure they were going this way, but all he could see was the portal’s wobbly red light.
“No way…”
Boraca, whose face had turned white, muttered in a bewildered voice. The image of Adelaide, who casually used his hidden portal passed through his head like a flash of light. Saliva slowly ran down Boraca’s throat.
Gulp.
And then an explosion.
Boom!
The portal exploded. The entire dungeon vibrated in response to the great force. Stones crumbled and a lot of dust fell. Soon, a crimson flame burst out like an explosion and attacked the surrounding demons in an instant.
“Ahh! Fire, fire!”
“Arrgh!!”
It was truly abysmal. If there was a hell, it would be like this. Boraca thought absentmindedly as he stared at the blazing flames.
Thud. Thud.
Footsteps were heard. Someone was walking out of the blazing flames. It was a shadow of a large demon. Intense pressure leaked out just from him walking.
“Boraca, behind me.”
Adolf stepped forward and stood in front of him. But, like a mad demon, Boraca only smiled and didn’t move.
It was because he already saw it. A single horn above the demon’s head as he walked through the smoke.
“Hello, f*ck you.”
