Near the temple of Duke Huan of Lu, the people got out of the carriage and walked in a street covered with green trees. It is called Lumiao street by the local people in Qufu. Many ancestral temples of the monarchs of the state of Lu are located here.

Due to its long history, this area has been closed and is not allowed to enter without the warrant of the Kong family.

In the early spring and Autumn period, the state of Lu was a powerful country. Duke Huan of Lu attacked other countries many times, and then gradually weakened. When the Duke Huan Temple of Lu was built, Confucius was not sanctified, but it was of great significance because Confucius led his disciples to visit the Duke Huan Temple of Lu.

Not long after, the people came to the temple of Duke Huan of Lu. The ancestral temple dedicated to Duke Huan of Lu was very small, with an area of less than 30 feet. It was not as good as a military camp. The building of the ancestral temple was dilapidated and low. It was built of rough stones. If it had not been sheltered by the power of the Confucius family, the HuanGong Temple of Lu would have collapsed long ago.

However, people are familiar with history and do not feel disappointed, because the human race in the spring and Autumn period is not as good as it is now in all aspects, and the residence or ancestral temple of the monarch at that time is not as good as some famous families and big families.

Fang Yun glanced at the Kong family and found that their expressions were somewhat complex and clear in his heart.

After Duke Huan of Lu became king, the eldest son became Duke Zhuang of Lu, and the other three sons were named Qing by their brother, which was called Sanhuan in history, laying a hidden danger for the decline of the state of Lu in the future.

At that time, Confucius became the great Sikou of the state of Lu, which can be called the first of all officials. However, because Duke Lu Ding ignored the government, Ji, one of the three Huan, treated Confucius lightly during the sacrifice, and Duke Lu Ding ignored it. Confucius was disappointed with Duke Lu Ding and resigned his position as a great Sikou without nostalgia for power.

Confucius didn't care what happened that year after he was canonized, but Confucius' descendants were dissatisfied with the monarch of the state of Lu, so that when Confucius closed the door, the state of Lu collapsed, and the Kong family didn't lend a helping hand. They just designated Qufu and other surrounding areas as the land of the Confucius family.

Everyone entered the humble Temple of Duke Huan of Lu one after another. No one dared to make a noise. Everyone was respectful.

Under the guidance of the temple keeper, the people entered the main hall of Duke Huan's temple. There was an artifact on the right side of the main hall.

"That's the song instrument." the temple keeper led the people over.

Fang Yun has seen it in the book. The song instrument is also called "Qi". The sound of "Qi" is the same as "seven", which means oblique.

Fang Yun observed carefully that it was a copper ware, like a copper bottle fixed on a shelf. It was empty, almost inclined upward at a 45 degree angle and motionless.

The temple keeper walked over with a bucket of water and said, "if this song instrument is empty, it will tilt." then, the temple keeper reached out to fiddle with the song instrument and straightened it. As soon as his hand left, the song instrument immediately returned to the inclined position.

"If an appropriate amount of water is injected, the song instrument can stand upright." the temple keeper said, slowly pouring water into it. With the gradual increase of water, the song instrument finally stood up. At this moment, half of the water has been injected, and the temple keeper stopped.

"If you continue to fill the water, the song will tilt to the other side," said the temple keeper, pouring all the water into the song.

As soon as the song instrument was full, it immediately tilted to the other side, and all the water in it poured out. Finally, it returned to this side and tilted as usual.

"This is what Kong Sheng said: emptiness is emptiness, middle is rightness, and fullness is covering. When there is no water, it is inclined. With an appropriate amount of water, it can be straightened, and once the water is full, it will be overturned."

Then, the temple keeper slowly recited that "Confucius observed the temple of Duke Huan of Lu". His voice echoed in the room, which seemed to drive the song instrument and form a strange rhythm, which made everyone listen respectfully and unconsciously.

The people nodded to thank the temple keeper for teaching the golden mean on behalf of Kong Sheng.

Fang Yun feels that after watching the song, his understanding of the golden mean and some related aspects has improved. Although the progress is not particularly obvious, it is also a benefit.

Soon, Fang Yun realized that there was probably the power of Kong Sheng in this song. Even after many years, it was like Kong Sheng personally instructing students, listening to the words of the sage, like bathing in the spring breeze, and naturally learning more.

Temple keeper humanitarian: "you all know that literati have a 'motto', and this song instrument is the instrument of Zuo you. The origin of the word motto is this song instrument."

People nodded in succession, and they still knew this.

"According to the Convention, the humble room inscription is a clear ambition, and the role of the motto is to warn yourself.

"Since Fang Yun can write the" humble chamber inscription ", he must also be able to write a good motto. I've been here before, so I won't write it. You should write quickly. Don't wait until the time when Fang Yun has finished writing and won't have a chance to write!" Zong Wude still can't forget his tragic experience of being weighed down by Fang Yun's literary name.

Xun Ye immediately said, "it's a good thing! Fang Yun's motto will certainly overwhelm us. Maybe it can surpass the motto of Duke Huan Temple of Lu in previous dynasties."

Everyone present looked at Xun Ye. Xun Ye's words seemed to praise Fang Yun, but they had an obvious intention of supporting and killing. Fang Yun could do it by pressing everyone present. However, if we want to say that Guan Jue has been in the past, we don't know how many people Fang Yun will offend.

Kong De Lun's face was gloomy and said slowly, "Xun ye, this is the place of my Kong family and the place where Kong Sheng once visited. If you dare to be presumptuous again, I will kill you here on the spot to correct the gift of my Kong family!"

Everyone secretly envied, and only the Confucius family had such confidence.

"Alas, you misunderstood again. OK, I'll shut up." Xun Ye shook his head and sighed.

Most of the children of all saints have been here before, so the best people didn't write their motto. Except Fang Yun, a total of 12 people wrote their motto here.

When the last person finished writing, everyone looked at Fang Yun.

When Fang Yun saw the crowd looking at him, he nodded slightly. Then he went to a table and picked up his pen. Instead of writing immediately, he looked at Xun Ye.

Xun Ye smiled and could not see any hostility.

Fang Yun glanced at the people in the holy ruins and said slowly, "I have a lot of feelings about this trip to the holy ruins. I thought that scholars, both inside and outside the holy ruins, should not be shaken by foreign objects, but I didn't expect that I overestimated some people and nearly died in the holy ruins. Today, I wrote a motto with sincerity, respect, loyalty and forgiveness to warn myself."

When Fang Yun finished, he picked up his pen and wrote slowly.

"You are like a guest, and you are like a sacrifice. So if you keep it, dare you lose it?"

As soon as the first four sentences came out, the people hurried to Fang Yun's back and watched carefully. These sentences mean that they should go out like respectful guests and work as seriously as sacrifice. How can there be mistakes and omissions when they treat everything with such an attitude?

People know that Fang Yun compares going out to entering the holy ruins. Instead of indulgence, he should be more cautious.

Later, Fang Yun wrote, "do not do to others what you do not want."

This is the words of Confucius in the Analects of Confucius. It often appears in aphorisms and is most suitable to be extracted into the motto.

So far, they are all the contents of Zhu Xi's "inscription on Jing Shu Zhai", but the later contents are not applicable, so Fang Yun writes them completely according to his own feelings and understandings.

Fang Yun used the experience in the holy ruins as an argument, supplemented by the words and deeds of ancient saints, to explain that if scholars want to obtain a higher ideological realm and a higher literary position, they must be consistent and not harm others for no reason.

At the end, Fang Yun suddenly changed his writing style. The last few lines of words jumped on the paper like a sharp sword and stabbed everyone.

"Respect and forgiveness are the only way to push yourself and others. Respect and forgiveness can't do. Be hostile to them. Repay virtue with virtue, and repay resentment with directness!"

The last eight characters also quote the words of Kong Sheng.

The crowd was stunned. Fang Yun's front and middle words were very moderate, but the last four sentences were straightforward. If he could not treat others with sincerity, respect, loyalty and forgiveness, in exchange for others' harm, he would regard him as an enemy and use his own means to retaliate.

Fang Yun wrote Jing Shu, which was so murderous that everyone was shocked. However, those who experienced the holy ruins and saw Fang Yun poisoned with their own eyes sighed softly. Fang Yun really had reason to write so.

Suddenly, the song instrument rang, washing everyone's courage.

Everyone was very happy, but after the joy, they were puzzled and didn't understand why Fang Yun caused the song to sing.

"In history, the song instrument can only sing for a dozen times. Each time, the person who triggered it has made great achievements. Which sentence in this article can trigger the song instrument to sing for a long time?"

The temple keeper said slowly, "intention! I didn't expect that this person who said 'nature is good' can best understand the meaning of Xun Sheng."

Xun Ye was stunned at first, and then a startled look appeared on his face.

The temple keeper said slowly, "Xunzi" It is recorded that after Kong Sheng and his disciples watched the song, Zilu asked, "is it possible for people to maintain their fullness?" Kong Sheng replied, "if you succeed in conquering the world, you should be humble. If you are brave, you should be cautious. If you are rich, you should be frugal. In this way, you can maintain your fullness." Fang Yun's motto on the right, the words "respect and forgiveness" in the front, so what if you do enough? Defend your integrity by forging ahead bravely Respect! This is to understand the meaning of Kong Sheng and Xun Sheng! "

Everyone is familiar with Xunzi and suddenly realized it.

Yan Yukong said: "Fang Yun's understanding of the classics of all saints is no less than that of a scholar of one country. Fang Yun's forgiveness in the preceding paragraph corresponds to 'Confucius views the temple of Duke Huan of Lu', which stresses respect and forgiveness and the golden mean, but the following 'hostility' and 'repay resentment with justice' correspond to the later paragraph of 'Confucius views the temple of Duke Huan of Lu', which Confucius punishes shaozhengmao!"

Li Fanming couldn't help saying the sentence behind the story of "Confucius viewed the temple of Duke Huan of Lu" in Xunzi: "Confucius took photos for Lu and killed shaozhengmao for seven days!"

The sound of the bile cracking.

When the crowd followed the prestige, they saw Xun Ye holding his head in both hands, his face twisted, and biting his teeth to prevent him from making any sound.

Fang uses the meaning of Xunzi to break the descendants of Xunzi!
