Chapter 29 - 029 - Dragonborn!

[A/N: I know the last chapter was kind of short, so I made this chapter longer to make up for it]

[Tommy's POV]

I did as Zephyr asked of me and followed the tasks in the floating screen he gave me.

Who knew that within the span of two days I would be imprisoned, escape from a dragon, become a courier and deliver some news to a Jarl, then I became a mercenary that had to delve into a tomb filled with strange zombies just to get a large slate of stone.

And that's not all, the zombie that had the stone was incredibly strong!

Not only that but he shouted a word at me that pushed me back multiple times during our fight!

Thank god for Zephyr increasing my strength because if I was my old self then I would have definitely died upon arriving in this world...

Minutes after giving the stone to the court wizard of the Jarl I was informed that a dragon was attacking a watchtower!

I tried to decline the Jarl's offer in helping slay the dragon but my screen suddenly updated and told me that I had to help slay the dragon...

I mean seriously, how the hell am I supposed to kill a dragon?!

Just imagining Zephyr fighting that giant black dragon scares me still...

...

I watched over Tommy, who was clearly panicking, as he a Dark Elf and some Whiterun guards cautiously walked over to a broken tower that is slightly damaged.

Flames and what appears to be some of a destroyed wall surrounded the tower with no signs of guards in sight.

"Are we too late?" the dark elf woman standing next to Tommy asked.

Suddenly a guard rushed out of the tower and shouted "What are you doing?! Get out of here (Can't remember the name) just got grabbed when he tried to make a run for it!"

"We are here to help, where is the beast?" the dark elven woman shouted in response.

Of course, I was still invisible, but the others were not...

Once the dragon spotted them It let out another roar before flying past them and turning around.

This time around it breathed hot fire towards the group causing all of them to quickly dash for cover, but one of the guards wasn't so lucky and got burned to a crisp from the draconic flames...

I watched with interest as the Guards and Tommy fought for their lives by firing any and all arrows they had towards the dragon in hopes of somehow killing it.

Suddenly one of the arrows managed to fly through the air and directly pierce into the dragon's right eye!

ROOOOAR!

The dragon roared in pain before landed on the ground next to the tower.

Noticing this the guards that have run out of arrows charged towards the dragon without fear.

Most of these guards had families back in Whiterun, so if this dragon were to get past them then more than likely their own families may perish...

It's an admirable trait especially when this may end in their deaths.

I watched as they hacked and slashed at the Dragon in an attempt to kill but their steel and iron weapons only did minimal amounts of damage to the dragon...

What are those scales made of?

I can't wait to get my hands on the carcass of the dragon!

Sadly I cannot interfere unless Tommy's life becomes endangered, I don't know if it would alert Alduin of my presence and send him coming our way, so I will play it safe for now.

Of all the people attacking the dragon right now Tommy was doing the most damage because of the extra strength, he gained from his stats.

While the guards bȧrėly left any cuts on the dragon, Tommy was causing gashes and streams of blood to spill from the dragon, and the dragon noticed this.

It began to target Tommy but once it tried to bite or hit him one of the guards would stab deeply into the dragon causing it to flinch and attack the guard by wiping him with its tail.

The guard was sent flying and landed in the nearby grass, heavily injured but still alive.

After two more guards were thrown away the dragon became weaker and weaker losing massive amounts of blood.

Soon it no longer had the strength to fight back and collapsed to the ground.

It had to suffer in pain as they slowly dealt more and more damage until it finally died...

Little did they all know I was collecting its blood, broken scales, and even some flesh.

BOOM!

Like a clap of thunder, a loud noise burst from the dragon's corpse before the dragon's flesh began to dissolve into a bright light that flowed directly into Tommy leaving nothing but the dragon's bones behind.
