Chapter 50 - 050 - Noble Six

[A/N: CHAPTER 50 BOYS, just to note out of all the novels I have written and eventually dropped around here, but this by far is the longest I have last, I don't feel bored at all when writing this novel and because of all of your help with your suggestions and interactions with the story(world voting example) I hope that I will be able to finish this novel and eventually reach the hundreds in chapter count!]

[A/N: Note that this will involve RvB, but in the very beginning on episode one I think, Tucker or Church mention that Master Chief blows up the covenant armada, so they won't appear until then, also probably won't be more than two chapters a week from the 7th to the 1st of July]

Floating down to Noble Six and the other people without hiding my form I asked "Hello Noble Six, need some help from your friendly neighborhood God?"

They looked up at me with undisguised awe and shock.

"What? None of you have anything to say?" I asked with a tilt of my head.

"Who...who are you?" A brave UNSC Marine asked.

"Zephyr, a God from a Different Dimension," I introduced myself

They just opened and closed their mouths like fish in pure confusion, awe, and surprise.

"Why are you helping us?" Noble Six asked me directly.

"Why? Because I cannot stand sitting by and watching the slaughter before my eyes, although I cannot save everyone on the planet I can damn well try to save as many as I can," I answered.

"Before you start saying anything I want you and your men to fortify the area and spread the news across the planet that this city will be a safe haven to evacuate as many people as possible," I told them before I started summoning more Living Armor Knights.

After summoning a grand total of 500 Living Armor Knights for 10 Divine Energy a piece(5,000 Divine Energy) I had the newly summoned Living Armor Knights begin clearing out the city of the covenant through any means necessary, I had them searching sewers, construction sites, schools, offices, everywhere in the city while escorting any survivors of the attack back to this safe zone which is a couple of large buildings and a large city square.

Jorge who I have enhanced with Divine Energy was saving many people across the city and escorting entire groups of people to the safe zone.

Now you may wonder, why is the covenant not bombing this city? Simple, any covenant vehicles and or weapons and equipment that even approach the city will deactive and self-destruct if they pass through a thin barrier that surrounds this city and a massive chunk of the land.

Basically, the covenant becomes weak here since they lose their weapons and vehicles, even their shields self-destruct dealing some horrible damage to their bodies if the weapon or vehicle is large enough.

Before I knew it hours passed and Noble Six had to regroup with the rest of the Noble Team.

Having both Jorge and Noble Six meet with me we sat at a table in the safe zone.

Looking at the two Spartans I sighed, "Listen, Jorge, your team cannot know your alive, and Six, you cannot tell the rest of Noble Team about Jorge."

"What?! Why?!" Jorge asked slamming his helmet onto the table with Noble Six staying silent.

"Because if we tell them then they will become distracted..." Noble Six explained.

"Exactly, that and if your team knows your alive, buŧŧerfly effect blah blah blah, I am not going to give you the same speech again, they cannot know your alive," I responded.

"But...fine, can you guarantee that they will live?" Jorge asked.

"I sure can, in fact, Six, give this to Kat and tell her to hold onto it." I told Noble Six before handing him a coin with the word 'Lucky'.

Six just looked at me with a confused expression through his helmet before shrugging and taking it.

I then handed him a few more coins and told him to make sure to give them to the others as well, I even gave him his own personal coin.

And once Noble Six left I looked over to Jorge and confronted him "Don't worry, all of your team will survive and because of them Humanity will win the war."

"Does this mean that...if you didn't appear all of us would have died...?" Jorge asked despondently.

"Yes, if I did not appear then you and your entire team would have died here, on Reach, well all except Jun who ends up escorting Dr. Halsey off of reach," I replied leaning back into my chair.

"Thank you," Jorge suddenly spoke.

"For what?" I asked.

"For saving us, for helping save people, and for giving me the strength to save others," Jorge explained.

"Oh, that? No problem, in fact, it is partially because of you that I decided to help out, seeing your bravery and determination in arguing with me, a God, in releasing you so you could say your planet," I responded before summoning some delicious cold tea for us to drink.

"How many survivors have we taken in today?" I asked looking at the darkening sky.

"More than 8,000," Jorge replied.

I nodded in response before saying "Then have them board some shuttles to evacuate reach, looking at that Covenant Fleet I can tell that they plan to glass the planet soon."

"Ok..." Jorge responded thinking about all the countless lives that were lost today due to the sudden invasion.

Once he left me I opened up my status.
