Second Chance: Raising A Yandere Demon Lord

"Wow! This is so nice!" Adrian cheerfully commented as he ran above the green grasses. The excitement he felt clearly translated upon his features.

Once Odette was done with the training, she decided to have snacks at the garden. The windy weather today felt quite pleasant to her, and since it had been long since she had eaten snack like that, Odette wanted to experience it with the five year old.

The maids set down the mat above the grasses and arranged the snacks above it. While they worked meticulously, Odette's eyes fell on Adrian, and she began to stride towards him. The five year old, who was hugging his kitten, turned to face Odette with a smile upon his face.

"This looks like fun, Lady Odette! I have never come to this part of the garden! This is so big and beautiful! I can play here all day long," Adrian voiced out, "You agree with me, right, White?

A small purr escaped from the kitten's mouth.

Giggles escaped from his mouth after hearing that, and bending down, Adrian placed the kitten upon the grass. Without wasting a second longer, the kitten started to run.

Seeing that, Adrian's eyes widened, and instantly, he began to run away the kitten. Odette's eyes followed behind him.

"Wait! Don't run away that fast, White! I would not be able to catch you then! Ah! White, you are being really mean! I fed you a lot of delicious food earlier, but you are doing this," the boy whɨnėd.

Seeing how the excited Adrian was being, Odette wondered about what expression will he be making if his kitten died. Would he be crying until the point of exhaustion?

"Are you finally tired?" Odette questioned, raising one of her eyebrows.

Sitting on top of the mat, Odette's hand held on to the plate while she dug her spoon into the soft slice of cake, cutting a piece out of it. Bringing the spoon over to her mouth, she chewed and ate that part of the cake.

Before her stood Adrian. His once neat clothing was now covered in dirt and heavy breathing showed the exhaustion he felt completely. Despite the temperature being quite cold, sweat dripped down his forehead, and secured within his arms was the kitten.

Adrian nodded his head and said, "I can't even move my legs anymore. White is really energetic although he is smaller than me! I am really jealous of her!"

"Now, if you are done with playing around, sit down and eat something to replenish your energy! You can play with the kitten afterwards," Odette vocalised.

Pointing at the food before him, Adrian said, "I can eat all of that."

"I doubt you will be able to eat all, but you can have a share of it," Odette spoke out.

A large grin appeared in his face at that while he loudly exclaimed, "Thank you, Lady Odette! You are the best! After all that running, I was starving, and looking at all of these delicious food made me more hungry!"
