Xueyu flop down under the boulder and on top of the green blanket of grass. A lotus position quickly formed.

Her ever-half-lids eyes closed and her breaths evened out. She was going to meditate… before giving cultivation another shot!

Xueyu had never given up on cultivation, even during the moments of her awakening after the Nirvana Fire incident. She had simply stalled time under the watchful eyes of her master and give time for her wounds to rest.

She didn't come unprepared, inside her hidden bag laid two of the counters to the Nirvana Fire— Frost Pebbles and a Cold Soul. Frost Pebbles originated from alchemy, her master would use it to regulate the fire for the pills. Conveniently he taught her how to use them.

Only a small amount of cold qi could be extracted from Frost Pebbles, but it was enough for Xueyu. She wanted to use that cold qi to block her meridians, in case the Nirvana Fire tried to fuels upon her qi again. It won't destroyed the fire completely but it will minimize the damage.

As for soul energy, Xueyu has a Cold Soul.

When Shi Zhen and his company came to visit, they had brought a ring with them. Her master took most of the needed alchemy materials and throw this rings full of treasures her way.

He had casually given her permission to use all she like, however, she likes. It is within the ring, that she found this Cold Soul.

A Cold Soul is a really rare kind of treasure in of itself, it is a soul of an innate cold beast. Cold elements beasts can have a Cold Soul, but not all cold elements beasts have a Cold Soul… This makes the soul extremely rare and in high demand.

Besides the fact that the ring was filled with cultivation treasures, Xueyu isn't stupid. She knows her master had purposely given her these resources, not because he had nothing better to do with them… He was giving her a leeway, an option continues her path as a cultivator.

Xueyu's lips twitched and eyes fluttered slightly.

Her master was not to be disappointed.

Silent echoed.

Even the nearby rushing stream seem came to a realization and quieten down, fading into the background.
