Secret Killer

Ray Marriat. He was a handsome, wealthy playboy, but not because his parents were rich nor because he was born in a wealthy family.

He lived his life in a fairly simple way with no past crimes in his childhood. He was a kind and calm person who could be friends with anyone. But one day, his sister got married to a rich guy. And because of that, his brother-in-law had given Ray a Black card, which he used daily.

Upon tasting the pleasure of money, Ray changed. He used his handsome face to attract everything he wanted. And as for the things he couldn't get, he bought them with money.

The thing he wanted the most was girls, beautiful girls. Some girls were already attracted to him because of his handsome face, and some were just gold diggers who were fine with anyone as long as they got money. However, there were some who didn't get swayed by his looks or money. So he forced them to. He blackmailed some and used his connections to do unspeakable stuff.

He became a devil from a saint.

His life was perfect, and he scored top in his high school, but not because he was smart; he used money. He bribed his classmates and told them to show him answers in exams, and that's how he topped.

After graduating from high school, he was looking for a new life, meeting new people, mostly girls. So he decided to enter the best university in the city, which also happened to be the university his brother-in-law owned.

He went straight to his brother-in-law and asked him to help him top the exam. However, his brother-in-law denied it. Not because it was cheating and illegal, but because he had no authority to finalize the exam scores. Even if he had gotten his hands on the scores, he couldn't alter it because the main board of the university would be suspicious.

But there was one way he could help Ray, by giving Ray a hard copy of the question sheet.

After reviving the question sheet, Ray was happy, and he was sure he would score the top. But unfortunately for him, he was stupid. He couldn't understand a single question and its solution. So he did what more than half of the students were going to do in the exam.

He decided to cram the answers without understanding them.

The entrance exam date was getting near, but Ray was busy playing with girls and parties and didn't bother to read anything.

Even though he had the exact questions which was going to be asked in the exams, even though he had a perfect chance to score top, he was lazy. He tried to cram the night before the exam, but he couldn't focus because he was high after drinking too much alcohol.

The next day, on the exam, he went to college early and used his brother-in-law's name to get into the restricted area for students. He went to the office and checked the list of the students who were going to sit next to him during the exam. He took their contact info and phone-called them to meet him at the gate.

After talking with them, he gave each one, a 1 million and asked them to show him their answers. Out of four students, three agreed, and one denied.

When the exam started, the one who refused to show Ray the answers was nowhere to be seen for some reason. Two days later, his body was found in the nearby lake.

Ray was confident that he would score the top. He used the minds of three, after all. But when the results came out, the topper was someone else, and he had scored full marks.

It was Leon, and he had unknowingly become one of the smartest youths of the decade.

Ray was enraged after seeing the results and wanted to kill Leon. He decided he would end Leon when he came to the school. Leon, however, didn't come for a month.

Today when he saw Leon, Ray decided he would have him kidnaped and tortured before killing him. And he had already started his bullying by tripping Leon when he wasn't paying attention.

After four lectures ended, it was a long break.

Leon didn't pay any attention during the lectures because he didn't need to. He could hear the lecturers, and that was enough for Leon to remember everything.

Truly, what a heavenly gift.

Leon time-passed the four lectures while chatting with Layla over the phone, playing antistress games to calm himself down, which weren't helping him.

When the break started, Ray approached Leon and started messing with him. He pulled his hair, threw his bag, and started pushing and kicking him. He spilled food and water on him. Leon, however, only smiled in response.

Leon couldn't wait for the perfect opportunity to give Ray a ride to hell.

"Fucking nerd," Ray said.

Usually, any student who had scored top by full marks would be considered a nerd—sitting all day at home, doing nothing but study and study. That was the definition of nerd in society.

Ray smacked Leon on the head and left the room.

Leon quietly stood up from his seat and casually walked out of the room to begin his hunt.
