Section VI Authority

After the dungeon, we headed to the school where Ritzereich was on its feet.

The sun has already fallen and school time has passed.

The students weren't there, but Ritzereich was still in the room, smacking some parts with some nasty tool.

"What are you doing?

Most of the openings, Toslin said as he looked at the parts that were raising the smoke.

"Oh, you're home already. I was wondering what it was like to cross the day, but the boulder is a dragon killer adventurer party, so I'm working fast."

Ritzereich threw his sleeve through his usual more frilly jacket when he took off his dirty, blackened white coat with coal (soot) and hung it on the back of his chair.

"Don't worry about that one. It's just a mistake. So? What happened to the end?

"Oh, yeah. Rose, with an example, will you put it here?

"Yes, I understand"

As Toslin pointed to the table, Rosé, who came in at the end, put the Norm Golem parts - the lens and exterior, and the core-like crystalline fragments that were inside.

"Ooh!? What the hell is this? Is that a lens? No, more than that... is this transparent stone... the core of the golem? It seems to be crushed, but where did you guys get this?

"Well, of course it's in the basement here. I just... eh"

"Thirty-five floors underground, right? It's called a map, it's going to be this place."

As Mr. Rosé spread the map over the empty space of the table, Ritzereich alternated between it and the parts, roaring.

"... I mean, here's what the knights call a new breed of monster, and this is the wreckage of it... isn't it?

"That's right. You've had a rough time, knock it down."

Carol told Ritzereich about what was going on underground.

"Well, I see... Norm. They said they were on the golem..."

"That's right. Did you get Bold Loire before that? The knight's statue is moving and attacking, and what the hell is going on down here?"

"Whatever they say. I didn't know that, so I asked the Lord to turn to the investigation."

"Perhaps, but Bold Loire was also created by Norm. And made us, the intruders, attack..."

"Wait, wait. Norm says," You heard Norm was the spirit on the defeated side of the goddess in the Battle of Illua. "Perhaps the curse given at that time... by blessing, no harm can be done to humans?

"By that blessing, indeed, the Spirit is forbidden to avenge men. But some of them will restore the power of the original world and do harm."

"Uhm, I hear there are some cases like that, but then... why not? Why would Norm be rambling up by now? After the anomaly began to occur, I made him look into it, but even if I tied the millennial history of this country, the word Gnome and so on didn't come up. There's no reason why you should describe it as violent."

Ritzleich has an imaginary face when he tries to cling to the elbow of the chair.

Seeing that, Saluena said potpourri.

"... sometimes, how far do you know that?

… and.

"Well, what?

Stared into Saluena's narrow eyes, Ritzereich unusually wandered.

While we were returning from the dungeon, we thought about why the gnome was rampaged up. And I came up with a certain hypothesis.

But to explain it, you have to tell a certain secret. And the secret is something you can't talk about.

"Rosa, how far can I tell this man?

"... I'm not saying I'm an associate of the Temple... and I'm sorry. I can't judge you on my own."

"But I'm your client, and I can't possibly not give you an explanation, can I?

When Toslin said so from the side, Mr. Rose nodded after thinking a little.

"Mr. Ritzereich. Could you please step up to the church for a moment now?

"Mm, now? Well, that doesn't matter... Oh no, Lord... I'm not going to let my rival, Washi, be the deceased?

"What rivals are you? I don't mean to be hairy, so follow me quietly."

"I see...... So you came to me."

When we arrived at the church, we were passed to the Archbishop Marie Arone - Marie's private room.

A qualitative room with no conditioning at all, although spacious. I'm kind of going to remind you of the room at the shining hen pavilion.

Remembering her visibility and nostalgia while being the first place to step in, Marie made an offer to me.

"Iris, come here"

"Ha, ha! What is it?"

As she approached Marie on a small run with Tokotoko, she removed the small box from her desk drawer.

"Yes, sweets. ♪ I heard you're going to school now. Good luck with your studies."

"Wow, so beautiful..."

When I opened the box, it contained candy balls as beautiful as gems. Colorful. That smells so good, it seems to have a fragrance on each one.

"Thank you, Master Marie"

My hands were blocked, so I broke my knee and bowed.

"Heh heh, oh. Classy. Did you learn how to bow at school, too?

"Yes, what, this is to Mr. Rosé..."

Rose and Noelia also learned how to bow when they were practicing their maneuvers in preparation for their viewing.

I still can't be aggressive, but I hope I can do it a little bit naturally.

"Priestess Rosalis"

"Yes."

Master Marie stroked my head before walking over to Mr. Rosé.

"It's an abbreviation..."

Dear Marie's index finger and middle finger touched just between Rosé's neck and chest on the depicted area of the Ticcarodecca crest.

"In my authority, the Archbishop, from this moment on, I will allow you to be the first priest and to name the High Priestess."

"... an extra honor for me. Dear Marie Arone,"

With that said, Mr. Rosé bowed more streamlined than I was.

Wow, is this a promotion? Promotions? That means, right?

I didn't know per se what grade it was originally, that there was such a class system in the first place, but this is a good thing, right?

"I hope to continue to be a shield, a sword and devote myself to her"

"Yes, I swear I will always protect Master Calvafon, even in his stead."

……

... but what is it? I just miss you a little bit.

Same goes for Mr. Rosé calling me by last name, but that sounds like he's saying he's protecting me because he's a cleric.

No, no, that's not true. Because Mr. Rose protected me all the time before I became a Magic Book Supervisor, and he was always nice to me.

But for all the time I've felt Mr. Rosé nearby, I find it odd that it's nothing like that.

"So, is it time? Why was I called here?

That's what I said and broke in, like Ritzereich cut the numbness.

"Hyplestes Rosalis. I have now given you the authority to tell me why. You may explain this to Mr. Lin Lin."

"Yes. I'm in awe"

Mr. Rose nodded, turning to Ritzereich.

"What? No way...... you mean enough to have permission from the Archbishop?

"Yes, I forbid you to speak out of anything you are about to hear in my authority and power that I have now been given"

"... but you have a relatively light mouth. If we break that ban, what happens?

Ritzereich cut back to Mr. Rose at his usual rate.

"… you will regret the lightness of your mouth"

Then Mr. Rosé also gave it back with his usual smiling expression.

"... aye ok. This Ritzereich Linlin. I swear to you, Lord and all that is here, that you will not speak of any of it."

"Fine. Now, let me tell you something. After a thousand years of Norm, why did he show up now and start rambling? certain facts, which would be the reason."
