Shadow Brave's Readventure - Re-Tale of the Brave

Episode 1016: Fort Pardesia Strategy - Just Before -

In Earth and Enefia, in fact, it's not the same land that's easy to protect. For example, the easily protected land on Earth is either facing the river, in a harsh place as an environment, or in a position where large armies cannot be deployed because it is in between mountains. And the moment I was remembering that story in the airship where I finished my last break, I asked Kite.

"Kite. What is' Fort Pardesia '?

"Hmm? Oh, 'Fort Pardesia' or... that's a strong fort in the plains."

"Plains section?

"Ah, seniors. I was thinking by Earth standards."

Sora laughs at the moment she tilts her neck. Actually, Sola made the same mistake once here. I couldn't bear to pinch my mouth.

"Hmm? What do you mean?

"An easy-to-protect land in Enefia isn't just a harsh environment. Maxwell, the Temple City, the Imperial Capital Entesia, for example, sounds like a pretty strong land."

"Hmm..."

I thought for a moment that Sora's words were about Kate and the others, but from the flow of the conversation, it would be different than saying them here. So when I thought a little bit about what Maxwell and the Temple City and the Imperial Capital had in common, the answer was self-understanding.

"Ground vein and dragon vein agglomeration, you mean?

"Ugh. That's what I'm gonna do"

"Wouldn't you make the mistake of making a boulder once... oh, that's the thing. Seniors know that boulders and city boundaries use ground pulses as a source of energy?

"Oh... oh, I mean, the higher the influx, the stronger the bond can be developed"

The moment takes Kate's word for it and understands what he wants to say. And that was the right answer.

"That's right. It's easy to understand when you imagine a land that's easy to defend and hard to attack where you say it on Earth... for example, a fort facing a river or between mountains. What happens if we attack this down on Earth?

"That's pretty hard to attack. Soldiers cannot be placed in large numbers by the river, nor can they fight properly where the ship has been sent out. Only one side can fight between the mountains. It's got to be a pretty rough fight."

"Exactly. If we're going to attack efficiently, we're going to need a massive construction project because of the water attack."

Kate nodded satisfied with the instant answer. That's why I imagined it for a moment. I wonder if 'Fort Pardesia' is a land that applies to any of them,.

"But can we stop it?

"Well, you can't"

The moment laughs slightly bitterly at Kate's inquiry. Needless to say, he can run flat on the water now that he's been trained in Urca. I can afford about an hour. Harsh scaffolding makes no sense. And if it's a short time, most soldiers are with us. The waterfront plain was with me.

"So, between the mountains, break down the mountain next to you, don't you just say? It is the mountain of Sekiyama where the fort is crushed by a single blow to the side of the mountain Dokan. Conversely, building a fort between the mountains is considered an act of suicide. You're with the cliff superior. Cliffs, if you get hit by dokans and you collapse, it's over."

Kate laughs and affirms once again that she can't. Strategies vary greatly between Earth and Enefia. It was, for one thing, the presence or absence of a junction and the presence of a hero.

"So making a fort is good on the plains, in the mountains, anywhere, but instead, you choose a collection of ground veins. That way, the magic cannon on the wall can use more powerful objects, and the junction can deploy more powerful objects... and?

"And to attack down there, the power of the heroes is imperative... right?

"Exactly."

Kate nodded satisfied with Sola's answer. This is what they taught me. If I forgot, it would be iron fist sanctions. As such, Kate went on to explain further.

"Earth once said that a siege battle needed three times as much force as the opponent's. but in Enefia, breaking a strong castle fortress was impossible, 10,000 times more, if it were a simple force. Why is that? Sola."

"Because you can't outperform the barrier's repair power, can you?

"Exactly. So those who have the offensive power to break down barriers... will need a so-called hero. Heroes can break down the barrier of the castle alone. They break down the barrier and control the fortress through their broken junction as the soldiers escort it. That's the basic siege in Enefia."

Sora's response will be followed by further commentary by Kite. This was the answer.

"Well, I don't know what to say, but the last person to do that role is an adventurer. Especially if you're an adventurer of rank B or higher, you're often asked to play a big part in an aggressive adventurer."

"Me too?

"Oh, especially the seniors and me. Our goal for this operation is, first of all, to attach to the fortress and destroy the barrier. Then, if possible, break into the inside of the fortress and control its interior. After entering, the primary objective is the control of the Magic Conductor Furnace. Second, the elimination of the enemy commander-in-chief. Capture if Possible"

"The Magic Furnace is better up there?

"I tried to blow myself up at every base. You must be afraid of that."

In response to the moment I leaned my neck, Fujido, who was listening beside me - along with Karin and the others as a residual group, watched the outpost - puts in a supplement. And you were right.

"You mean the base I was at until this morning?

"Right. I was watching, but the prophet was more afraid in advance, and he was able to stop it because he was infiltrating a special task force."

"I couldn't do that this time. Deal locally, that's why. If you make a mistake, all the guys in there will be confirmed Buddha, so that's the only way to stop it."

"I see..."

Hear the words of Kate, who went on to Fujido, and engrave them in his heart, the more the moment. It would be good of him not to think that this enemy would not engage his allies and do suicide bombings either. That's what the enemy says. I just kept looking at the facts. And, talking about that, the airship slows down.

"... that's close."

I mean, I can see it.

Yuri over Kate's shoulder points to the southern sky outside the window. There were countless airships floating around.

"... a total of 15 supercrossbow-class battleships of over 200 meters, a total of 500 airships of all sizes... Shit. You're a very capable soldier."

"Really?

"Yeah... I abandoned the East early to fully concentrate my forces in the South. Just one thing on this point, I can tell you that the other person is quite hands-on. Geographically, you can't go around here to Laxia."

Kate nodded at Ayazaki's inquiry. It wasn't a lie there, the bitterness seeped in. but Ayazaki didn't seem to know very well.

"Is this the one on top of the number?

"Yeah, only on top of this one fight, though. Most importantly, they understand that there is no time here. That's why they chose Cage Castle."

"Don't have time? Not the other guy, this way?

"Yeah. Here, it is. Time only works in their favor."

Again, Kate affirms against Ayazaki, who looks incomprehensible. Sure, I feel that Sharik and the others would be overwhelmingly advantageous if we keep doing this. but that is only if you see only one Laerian country. Laeria is one country, but it is not established by one country alone.

"The Valtard Empire should now be sending out a certain message to the nations of the Laerian protectorate"

"Valtard's in La Area's protectorate?

"Yeah... the content doesn't overlook La Area's civil strife any more. Therefore, does our country also possess the right to actively exercise self-defence from a security perspective? These two countries are geographically close. The protectorates are completely adjacent to each other... and they will intervene in the civil conflict in La Area because it affects the policing of that protectorate. I'll get you some La Area protectorates, too."

To Ayazaki's question, Kate speaks behind this battle now, only in the form of speculation and rumors - for the sake of other guild members being with him.

"Is that possible?

"From a security standpoint, you're saying, right? It works normally on Earth, too. Countries A and B are allies, while country B takes the form of close proximity to the protectorate of country A. Civil unrest broke out in neighbouring country C, which is in a sinister relationship with that country B, and security deteriorated once and for all. Therefore, Country A embarks on maintaining security in Country C from the point of view of its own security and that of Country B... unless there is so much to say, what can you complain about this?

"Mm..."

Ayazaki is questioned by Kate and decides that she cannot complain about this according to the circumstances. Anyway, we could do ourselves harm. If you want to complain, don't bother with rubbing your own country, they'll just tell you. That's how Kite went on.

"Perhaps, at the time of the fall season, Valtard should have issued his last notice for each country. We can't overlook this any more, he said. Therefore, His Majesty Shalik offered his support to us, the other continent, without shaping it. Is it like a measure of diplomacy?"

"... you're scared, international politics is"

"hahaha..."

I can't seem to understand it half the time, but Ayazaki seems to have understood that he is in a rather troublesome state for now. but there seemed to be something I couldn't solve, and Fujido went further into it.

"But how can that be a statement that the Confederate command is competent?

"Oh, is that... right. Shall I write down the difference between the two armies?"

That's what Kate says, I'll try to write down the information on paper as far as it's passing here.

"The total strength of the Northern Army. 40 supercrossbow-class battleships of over 200 metres. Approximately 1,200 other airships of various sizes. About 1300 ships in total"

Kite first writes down the total strength of the Northern army. This one, of course, is thought to have the power of war to keep it a secret, so it's only the number Kite estimated from the status quo after considering official announcements and material changes. Never an exact number.

"Well... on top of that, the Confederate Army. This is only an estimate because it is information from a spy. About 30 Supercross Class Battleships. There are about 800 airships of various sizes. Approximately 850 ships in total. The Fort Pardesia has a total of about 500 ships assembled, so you can assume that it is pointing a little higher than half."

"... isn't this one overwhelmingly advantageous in war? About 1.5 times that, right?

"No... then let's assume this and write down the power this one is running in this battle at this stage"

When Kate waves her head at Fujido's words, she starts writing out this one's power of war again. Now we have a few fights ahead of us.

"25 Supercross Class Battleships. There are a total of 700 airships of all sizes... this one has more fighting power than this one, limited to this one. As I told Senior Ayazaki earlier, this is only a story for this first battle. The remaining 500 ships are on defense throughout La Area, including areas abandoned by the Confederate Army, so they can't move... they're on top of each other with the force they can mobilize. Besides, the south is a barn zone. They're holding the food."

"Ah..."

Kate pointed me out, and Fujido finally noticed. Kite and the others have refrained from 'Laxia' tactical maneuvers after this. Considering the reduced force here, it's overwhelmingly unfavourable.

"Therefore, His Majesty Sharik was marched himself as a measure of bitterness. To boost the morale of the soldiers as much as possible. If I could hang on to it, that's what I could have tried to fight after producing more airships and overshadowing the difference in power if I prolonged it until winter... but I couldn't hang any longer because of Valtard's cross spear. This is where it really comes to mind."

"Right. They just mustered their own troops to drastically reduce this one's..."

"That's the thing. So they're brilliant. Destroying nothing directly isn't war. It's important before you fight."

Fujido glances at the strategy of the opponent, who looks open to surprise. Brilliant, I can only say one word of. Even though this one knows it, Sharik has no choice but to protect the people by reducing his power. That was the strategy after I found out.

"Do you have a winning eye?

"Yes, of course."

Kate laughs and affirms to Fujido's inquiry, which gave him a slight glimpse of anxiety. That's why there's a military teacher.

"The opponent surpasses this one in strategy, and this one is in a predicament. And because the thoughts of other countries are involved, I couldn't help but overshadow them. Then, in tactics, this one should surpass that strategy. The opponent has put together a strategy to this end because we know that we are in pain depending on this battle. If you tactically override the outcome that should be guided by that strategy, you can also override the other party's strategy. If we limit ourselves to fighting from here, what matters is tactics rather than strategy. You just have to get more results than your opponent envisioned in this fight."

Kate laughs and affirms that the point is you just have to win. This one keeps his troops from being reduced, while causing him considerable difficulty in attacking the fort. Achieving that difficulty requires excellent tactics.

As such, an army liaison officer aboard the Cherry Peach Cabinet - a woman - came to Kate and the others.

"Lord Kate Amane. I'm ready. Please move to the flagship."

"Got it. The operation starts at 12: 00, right?

"There's no difference. I'll show you."

"Please... then, everyone. We'll start in a little while, so just be sure to check the last one"

"" "Ooh" "

Kate follows the military liaison and leaves the room behind. The attack has not yet begun. They're both getting ready. but they had already both captured their opponents within the range of the demon cannon and were not suspicious at any time starting. So it was time for Kite to get ready again. That's how I discuss it with my partner when I leave the room.

"Yuri... are you okay without me?

"The other way around, right? Are you okay without me?

"... go"

"Yeah. Good luck with that"

Neither do you.

Kate exchanges a final greeting with Yuri. Yuri's support at the rear of the line makes it less dangerous, but Kite has to get to the front line. I don't think there's any wonder what's going on. That's what makes it no wonder he's dead, even.

That's why I got my eyes full of love last night, and now they're only gonna talk to each other once again. Kate decides to breathe this sweet honey again, so Yuri believes that Kate will definitely come home.

"... it's okay. I can go, if it's Kite now."

"Oh, Lord buddy. Then I'm going... it's the first battlefield in 300 years. Use me well, Levi."

Kate turns Yuri's words on her back and flips a long coat of white. As such, he decided to move to the flagship of Sharik and Levy's fleet to begin the battle.
