Carah was so excited on this trip that would take her away from the life she grew up with in the province. Its not that she doesn't like the people or the life she left behind, she was so excited to experience new environment and life in the big city as well as the big step to fulfill her ambition to become a good or even the best lawyer in the country like her idol, her father. The trip took Twelve hours from riding a bus to the warf and sail to another island and continue the land trip on the same bus to the big city. She was lucky yo be admitted to one of the best university that had produced the topnotch lawyers in the land.at age of eighteen she already finished her college course that will lead her admission to law proper. She drifted to sleep every now and then but very observant of her surrounding and the people embarking and disembarking on the vehicle, of course this is not her first trip she was able to travel to this destination a couple oftimes already. a few hours, three and a half to be exact the bus stopped to take a passenger that seems to be stranded on the road. She was about yo drift back to sleep when the stranger sat beside her. carefully and conspicuouslyassessed her seat mate , her father told her to be vigilant in riding public transport. Well he seems to be harmless. well dress good looking, and very handsome and attractive, that it earns the stares of other passengers. She relax and was adjusting the volume of her headphone when he turn to her spoke something.

"Excuse me?" she asked as she removed the headphone on her ears."Can I borrowyour phone? I forgot mine in the car,I just need to text my cousin to fetch me on the terminal my car broke down.,please I'll pay if youprefer it." Quickly he said when he saw her hesitation.

"Oh! it's OKyou can call if you wish, be my guest." she smiled a bit embarrass by her hesitation and handed him her phone. He just stares at her and the phone.

"Oh I'm sorry" she quickly enter her password to unlock her gadget. He smiled.

"Thanks" and continue to use her phone.

After a while he handed her back her gadget ,"Thank you very much, you're a life saver." he smiled " By the way I'm Alexander, my friends call me Zander."

"Does it qualify me as your friend if I call you Zander? Just kidding. " she smiled showing her dimple on her left cheek that he just notice now.

"Of course, and you are?

" Carah with an H" she giggled happy to have someone to converse with at the remaining hour other trip.They continue the trip exchanging experiences here and there, they are closer in age as he is twenty one.just returned to the country to look after the business his father left and staying with his relatives on the father side. He is easy to get long with as he is so charming and very knowledgeable due to his trip to other country. Carah enjoyed talking to him and learning some experiences he shared to her.They didn't notice they already reach their destination. she was being pick up by one of her mother's friend to be later place in a boarding house near the university she was enrolled. while he wasmet by a male relative who gavea disturbing gazewhen Zander gave her a wave as he was ushered to a waiting car.
