Shield Hero With Barrier Magic

(Author Note - Well, some of you are not happy with Raphtalia turning into a Yandere... She is the No.1 waifu in the original, not in mine... In my fanfic, she will be Yandere waifu... And you think I am going too far ?? Trust me, I am holding back myself a lot... If I went all the way, this is gonna be a horror story and you wouldn't want to read that...

And the one who hoped for Hiro to have normal wives... Dream on... All his wives are going to be weird in one way or the other... But weird doesn't mean all of them would be Yanderes by the way... )

(Raphtalia's POV)

I decided to fight in Waves with Master and Mistress... So, I took a life today... I will be taking many lives like these in the future... I don't regret this... I will destroy anything to save Master and Mistress... They called me a Yandere... It seems that in the Master's world, you give that name to someone who will go to any lengths for their love... Yes, it suits me... I will do anything to protect the Master and Mistress... It seems that Master likes this type a lot... His only condition is no unnecessary killing... That's why I will grow to be an ideal Yandere for my Master... Hehehe... He will praise me more if I do that... Hehehe...

After that, Mistress gave me some training on how to control the urges and Master caught some more monsters for me to kill... They said that Mistress will start my Sword training tomorrow...

We went to the town back to the weapons shop first and Master and Mistress changed into light armors that reveal their face... Weapon's shop owner wished us good luck... We went quite far from the weapons shop without revealing ourselves and once we are far, Master and Mistress threw away their cloaks and the three of us walked in the public like everything is normal... Master didn't put his shield on his right hand... He still hid it... But I can already hear murmurs of the public whispering... "I saw that guy somewhere"...

And after that, we went to the inn that master mentioned...

Inn owner - "Welcome! Huh ?? Shield Hero-sama !!"

He recognized Master immediately and once he shouted that, the whole inn looked in our way...

Master - "Wow... You still remember me huh ??"

Inn owner - "Of course !! How can I forget a person who threw a party at my inn with 5 gold !!"

Inn owner looked at Mistress and me... Immediately, the smile on his face dimmed...

Inn owner - "Umm... Who are they, Shield Hero ??"

Master - "Meet Claire Iwatani, my wife and this is Raphtalia, our daughter..."

Everyone - "What ?!!"

Everyone shouted in surprise at once...

Inn owner - "I thought they were your slaves..."

Master - "Technically yes... But I married Claire and adopted Raphtalia as our daughter... Do you have any problem with that ??"

The Inn owner smiled awkwardly...

Inn owner - "Not really... But... You are repeating history... You know that, don't you Shield Hero..."

Master - *Sigh* "Just because I adopted a demi-human as my daughter doesn't mean I am siding with demi-humans... My wife is human as you can see... I am neutral, unlike the previous Shield Heroes... Neither do I support Melromarc for demi-human slavery nor do I support Siltvelt for human slavery... Both of them are wrong, don't you think ??"

Inn owner - "Well... As long as you don't do what previous Shield Heroes did... By the way, why did you appear, here again, Shield Hero ??"

Master - "I am done hiding... I leveled up enough to stay in public from now on... So, I will be staying in this inn from now on..."

Master - "Alright, first we would like to order dinner... My wife and I will have normal meals and my daughter will be having the same thing that kid is having..."

Raphtalia - "Eh ??"

Master - "What ?? You looked like you wanted to eat it... Want more ??"

I can hear others talking... "Seriously, a demi-human !!" "Someone kick her out !!" "Why is disgusting demi-human eating here..."

I ignored them... But the inn was immediately filled with a huge amount of killing intent... It came from Master and Mistress...

Master - "I know that you guys hate demi-humans and I know you have your reasons... But... I think you guys also know how parents feel when someone insults their child, right ??"

And we started eating our dinner...

Raphtalia - "It's not as tasty as your cooking, Master... But it's good..."

Inn owner - *Sigh* "As much as I hate to agree, Shield Hero cooked some of the best dishes I have ever tasted back at that party... I can't beat him..."

I guess even the inn owner admits defeat in cooking against Master... Anyway, we completed our dinner and went to a room in the inn to sleep there... Alright, I will do my best tomorrow as well !!
