Shrewd wife of Lin brothers

The Lin brothers were awkward and angry at Zhang Xiaohui 's shamelessness but they really couldn't do anything to her . Shameless or not Zhang Xiaohui was their aunt and they couldn't just refuse her blatantly . Su Wan saw her husbands turning silent one by one with constipated expressions upon their faces and snorted , no wonder these five fools were treated so badly by the Old Lin family . They were just too honest ! 

Fine since they didn't want to carry the tag of being unfilial then she will bear it . Did the old Lin family thought that she died and transmigrated as Su Wan just to get bullied by them ? Fat chance !

When Zhang Xiaohui heard that Su Wan was willing taking a step back she proudly puffed out her chest and looked at her husband who furtively gave her a thumbs up which only served to make Zhang Xiaohui even proud as she straightened up her spine and cleared her throat in an important manner . See , she knew it , no matter where these stupid good of nothing run off to , they can never get out of her grasp .

See didn't they honestly brought out their money when she stepped in ? Her husband and mother in law were totally useless if they wanted to wretch out money from These bastards then they need to sell sympathy points and pressurize them instead of creating such a loud din .

" Wife -" Lin Chen worriedly pulled Su Wan's sleeves , he thought that their wife was disappointed in them now that they didn't threw their aunt and the old Lin family out of their courtyard that was why she agreed to Zhang Xiaohui 's absurd demand because their wife was tired of putting up a fight with their Aunt and the Lin family .

Su Wan looked at Zhang Xiaohui 's victorious sneer and mockingly smiled " But I have one condition " 

Zhang Xiaohui and Lin Ze who were already in their la la land imagining what they will do after getting money from the Lin brothers were startled as they turned to stare at Su Wan .

" condition ? what condition" frowning Lin Ze asked 

" Its like this " spreading her arms wide , Su Wan spoke in an embarrassed manner " Your mother , the old madam Lin already took my husbands income for this month and she didn't let them take a single coin from her house . So , I as their wife have to step in and take out my dowry that I got from mother but the thing is that before my marriage , my dowry was under my step mother 's hand and she would sometimes take out a few taels here and there from my mother's dowry because of which my mother's dowry degraded to only a few taels and some old jewellery . Now that our family needed the money for starting from the very beginning, of course I have to take out the money as well as my jewellery . Hearing the old woman speak up in such a righteous manner , Su Wan wanted to laugh out loud in fury 'old hag , who is the one asking for money and who is the one lending you money ? Isn't your behaviour quiet inappropriate given your situation , why are you still acting in such a haughty manner ?'

But despite what Su Wan thought in her head she didn't speak it out loud , she thought that she could throw these blood sucking leeches with her shrew like behaviour but this family was clearly even more thick skinned than she thought thus it was time to change strategies !

" No , I'm not but old madam Lin , you already heard what Physician Gu said . We need to buy mother in law 's medicine every month ." said Su Wan with an eye roll " We only have ten taels in our family right now but if you want it so much then we will let you have them but you gotta sign an agreement that next month you will give us fifty taels at most "

" fifty taels ?"

Almost at once everyone inhaled a sharp breath and turned to look at Su Wan in a new light . Some of them even silently swore that whatever happens in the future they will never borrow money from this shrew wife of the Lin brothers .

If our family can take out our entire savings for your family when we still haven't sowed our farms and haven't planted the rice , why can't you give us fifty taels next month ? Atleast your family is better than ours . By heaven grace you are still healthy and none in your family are sick and handicapped but mine is different both my mother in law and Ah Yu needs medical care but we are still helping you out ."

As on cue Lin Yu dropped his face and sniffed looking pitiful even his eyes turned red when he heard his wife mentioning his disability that was what the villagers thought but nobody saw Lin Chen pinching Lin Yu 's waist while Lin Rui covered his third brother's actions .

Grandma Lin's face worked furiously , at first she thought about taking the money and slipping away but Su Wan already mentioned about an agreement, with this girl's intelligence it was impossible to fool her .

So what can she an old woman do ? Take out fifty taels for ten taels in exchange ?

" Let's go " with a darkened face Grandma Lin walked away but how will Lin Ze agree with her , he at once refused but Grandma Lin instantly exploded " you stupid son can't you see that your nephews are having a hard time here ?
