Silverhart Online
6 Starting Skills
Gray prepared himself for the inevitable battle that is going to take place between him and the 4 rabbits standing before him.
His entire body now imbued with pure Arcane Energy, the boy smirks crazily, basking upon his new power and ready to unleash his magic upon the small pathetic critters.
CHING!!
Before he could proceed to wreak havoc within the enemy ranks, a loud ring of a bell was seemed to be heard as it was accompanied by a text box that has suddenly appeared right in front of his very eyes.
Time seemed to have halted into a pause as the surroundings turned slightly blue, giving time for the boy to read the contents of the text box presented to him.
"It seems that you have some grudge going on with the cute little rabbits over there. The same can be said about them though, since a certain System Goddess (Me!!) has saved a certain insignificant mortal (You, duh!!) from a certain gruesome death, killing one of their kind in the process. With that said, your adventure now begins with a quest for merciless vengeance as your untamed rage cannot be satiated unless you vanquish a certain number of their kind!!"
- Kill (0 / 20)
- (???) (0 / 1)
- (???) (I'm not going to spoil you mortal!!)
YES / NO
Judging by the contents of the Notification, no doubt that it was Sylvia who seems to be providing him with the details needed in this quest of his, even going so far as to exaggerate his anger against the said rabbits though.
Gray could only sweatdrop at the text, accompanied by a sheepish chuckle.
'Wow, she really is full of herself huh.'
Not that she's wrong though.
He could still remember every detail of the gory moment when the rabbit ripped off his very hand, causing him unadulterated pain.
Yup, those fucking rabbits are going to die today.
Without any hesitation, the boy confirms the quest with a YES, resulting in the passage of time continuing once more in its natural state.
With all interruptions gone, Gray could now harness the Arcane Energy flowing deep within his body.
As he wills it, a whole set of information suddenly invaded his mind, providing him the knowledge about the skills that he has.
It seems that the system has provided the means for him to make his life easier, granting Gray the ability to cast his spells just by mere instinct, as long as he fulfills the requirements such as the Mana cost, Cooldown (CD), and other factors yet to be mentioned.
Verifying his acquired skills, Gray mentally read the descriptions despite being in the middle of battle.
(Active) (Lvl 1, 0%) – Launches a blast of violent energy, dealing 230 damage to a single enemy target. Mana Cost: 125. Charges: 3. CD of each charge: 6 seconds.
(Active) (Lvl 1, 0%) – Allows short range teleportation of 10 ft. Mana Cost: 90. CD: 5 seconds.
(Active) (Lvl 1, 0%) – The Arcanist drains the mana of a single enemy, absorbing 20 mana per second for 5 seconds and slowing the enemy by 30%. Slightly reduces Hunger but is never enough. CD: 20 seconds.
(Passive) – The state of Magic Hunger exclusive only to this class. As an Arcanist, you are required to drain the Mana essence of a creature in order to satiate your never-ending hunger for pure Arcane Magic. You may feed an enemy or even your ally when their Health reaches 5% low, effectively killing them while granting a permanent bonus to your Base Mana depending on what kind of creature you fed, thus decreasing your Hunger. Perhaps even more so other than Mana bonus as you start to feed certain creatures on your travels. Normal creatures who are 20 levels lower than you can be fed instantly at full health. (Click this skill for more info about Hunger).
"Three skills, nice," Gray muttered to himself, excited to test the three skills. But when he saw his 4th and Passive skill, Gray suddenly felt grim after reading its description. "Now that's just fucking dark. That Stupid Goddess failed to mention that particular feature of this class even if it seems OP. I guess I better dwell on it later seeing as there are even pressing matters to attend to."

Surveying the enemies in front of him, Gray is now able to see their status right above their heads.
Lvl: 9
Health: 570 / 570
Stamina: 200 / 200
Mana: 20 / 20
"Alright, let's try this!!" Gray said and chanted the skill. "!!"
As Gray commands it, the Arcane Energy has gathered on both of his hands as he threw the attack straight at one of the Rabbits, causing the critter to shriek in pain upon impact.
"Awesome!!" Gray cheered at how real the combat is.
The rabbits also made their move, charging straight ahead at the while baring their deadly fangs.
Anticipating such predictable move, Gray smirks playfully as he tries out to distance himself away from the animals. Then he immediately follows it up by 2 consecutive at the rabbit he dealt damage recently, instantly killing it.
Witnessing their comrade's pixelated demise, the rabbits turn enraged as they lunge even more ferociously. Gray being impressively calm, repeats the process until only a single rabbit stands in his way.
The rabbit to its credit still kept on fighting despite its allies' death, making its last stand on the Elf in front.
"You." Gray pointed with an arrogant look. "I have a specific thing for you in mind."
The last charges blindly in pure rage as it manages to grip its fangs on Gray's left arm.
"Hehehe, ."
Casting the spell in two successions, Gray efficiently released himself from its sharp bite, reducing its health to 110 points.
"Tsk, still not enough." The Arcanist clicks his tongue in annoyance as he grabs the battered body of the rabbit. He then proceeded to pummel it brutally with his own fists while cackling sadistically until it reaches a certain health threshold…
A 5% health threshold.
When Gray saw that the Rabbit's health is about 20, he knew that it was the perfect opportunity to test his Feeding skill.
Even though the Arcanist has never done this before, the System seemed to have provided him the knowledge for the action that he will be doing.
Utilizing the skill of , Gray opens his mouth widely as a stream of blue energy seems to flow out from the Rabbit's own mouth, draining the animal in the process until its flesh melted hideously. In the end, though, the rabbit faded into pixels.
+5 Permanent Bonus to MANA!!
"This power." Gray marvels as he felt his Mana reserves definitely increased but only by a little bit though since its just a fucking rabbit. He also felt that his Hunger had significantly subsided, satisfied at his delicious Arcane meal.
After the combat, Gray also received 220 XP in total for the 4 rabbits that he slew.
As he thought of feeding more powerful creatures in his playthrough, Gray succumbs himself in a burst of demented laughter, the mere thought of him becoming even more powerful as the day goes by is indeed appealing.
"Due to your maniacal tendencies as an Arcanist, you are hereby awarded Morality points of +5 Chaos. Please take care not to get too much drunk on the power that I graciously provided for you mortal or you might regret it later on. Whatever though, it's your freaking choice."
"Woops." Gray widens his eyes as he snaps himself out upon reading the textbox, heeding the Goddess' advice. "I better start controlling myself as this might definitely get me in trouble later on. I don't need the unnecessary attention of other parties that might hunt me down just because of how crazy I can be.
Checking his Quest Objectives, the boy still has a long way to go, having killed 4 out of 20 rabbits.
With that in mind, his quest for the genocide of Rabbits continues.
