Isamu's slit cat eyes could not help but widen as he fails to contain his surprise by the sensitive information being revealed to him by Krothu.

"A traitor?" The cat-folk was clearly baffled. "You're joking, right?"

"If only that were the case, kid." Krothu shook his head in disagreement. "For the past few months, we have suspected that one of the seniors have been conducting some nefarious business behind our backs. Of course, Malic and I did not open this topic up to anyone in the guild to not any arouse suspicion from the culprit."

"May I know who's the traitor in our ranks?" Isamu asks with an angered look.

Krothu smiles as he taps the younger warrior's shoulder in response. "You don't have to worry about it. It's Malic and I's business alone. Just leave these kinds of complicated affairs to us. I don't want any of the junior members sharing two old men's burden, hahaha."

"And besides," Krothu added as he released his hand from Isamu. "It's still mere speculations on our part. Unless we have concrete evidence to bring him behind bars, then I'm afraid that there's little we can do. After all, a person is only innocent until proven guilty, as bound by the laws and traditions that we follow."

"Yes, sir." Despite not liking the orc's secrecy regarding the matter, Isamu decided not to question him further about the affair as the cat-folk also know that any issues concerning with the senior members are for them to deal alone as discretely as possible as dictated by the laws of the guild.

"Anyways, enough about such depressing matters." Krothu's frown instantly shifts to the opposite expression as he grins. "I've overheard some farmers talking about how you handled the situation in the fire. I'm impressed kid, not many are capable of assuming the mantle of leadership in such a taxing scenario."

"I only did what I think is right." Isamu smiles. "After all, it would be unbecoming of a member of the Warrior's Guild such as myself to succumb to fear and panic when the situation demands the opposite entirely."

"Well said." Krothu nods with full esteem. "You performed admirably to the best of your abilities. You unquestionably did the guild proud."

LEVEL UP!!

YOU RECEIVED 5 ATTRIBUTE POINTS!!

YOU RECEIVED 1 ABILITY POINT!!

With Isamu now being at level 16, he spends his Attribute points a bit different this time around. Of course, being a Warrior, two points in Strength is the norm followed by a single point in Endurance. Instead of Speech, however, the cat-folk opted to spend the remaining two points in Willpower since being a \u003cChampion\u003e, an ample rate of Stamina Regeneration is recommended for one to be effective in supporting his allies with buffs in collaboration with his basic attacks.

"Now then," Krothu said as he shifts the conversation in a slightly different topic. "Tell me Isamu, for the past month that you have been tending to the fields, what have you learned from your endeavours?"

The cat-folk was definitely confused as to why the orc asks a question of such nature. "Why do you ask?"

"Just answer me," Krothu said in an instant.

"Hmm." Isamu rubs his chin in thinking, trying to find a suitable answer behind Krothu's query. At the same time, he decided to look at the farmers tending to their own work as they all work together in harmony for honest ventures.

The cat-folk then reminisce his times spent with the farmers here at the farmlands. How they were all friendly and welcoming as they don't hesitate to help one another unconditionally in any situation. He also remembers how hard yet fulfilling farm work is, seeing the fruits of your efforts at the end of the day with smiles and recognition being shown by the farmers.

With a proud grin, Isamu gave his answer. "Farming, well, how should I say this… defined the nature of who I really am times of hard work, especially under the heat of the gruelling sun. It taught me to look back, ponder about my personal story and also each of the stories of the farmers whom I have interacted with. Each has its own distinct difference with elements of hard work, challenges, and triumphs that paves the way for others to go after the same noble goal. With these memories together, we are as well helping in influencing others with virtue and kindness."

Isamu pauses for a moment as he thought for a bit before uttering his next statement. "Touching the soul and witnessing life growing from it, it's a humbling sight to witness. During the time I have worked with my fellow farmers, you could say that I somehow grew to love the work, no matter how taxing it is, hehe. As I recognize their invaluable work, I came to appreciate and be grateful for their hard work and the bounties that nature has graciously provided for us all. Despite how time-consuming every task are, it can be fun at times, especially when you share the work with the people who also feel the joy of cultivating good plants as much as enjoying eating good food."

The cat-folk sighs as he looks up at the glorious day sky with a sincere smile. "It's certainly heartwarming to witness that despite all the tiresome work, one can still find joy in the act of generosity despite the farmers' status in the social hierarchy."

"As such." The cat-folk clench his fist with rage at thinking about the fire that transpired a while ago that was caused by a particular thief. "I feel nothing but rage against that thieving bastard who dare tramples the farmers' hard work just like that, burning the fruits of their honourable labour."

With the cat-folk's anger being felt, the System notifies him with a personal Quest for him to fulfil.

\u003cWhen Valor and Shadow collides\u003e

[Thievery is an act highly frowned upon by the general public. Although the act itself warrants a fitting punishment as stated in the law, the thief who you have encountered took things to a more chaotic level, burning a field that you came to love and cherish during your one-month period as a farmer. As a result, you decided that if you ever encounter him again, there will be a price to pay for his transgression.]

Upon hearing the young cat-folk's statement as well as seeing his reaction, Krothu could not help but grin with complete approval at Isamu's sentiment about the whole matter.

"Good, don't forget the anger boiling within you, serving as your motivation in enacting judgment on every individual who preys on the weak and innocent for their despicable self-interest," Krothu said as he lectures the cat-folk. "But still, let this not blind on you on your true purpose of spreading goodwill and charity at your every wake. Many begin with the same good intentions and motivations like you but only ending up in being the very type of individual that they detest the most in the conquest for their so-called justice."

Isamu simply nods in response as he understood the message that was imparted to him by the orc.

"And also, I'm glad that you perceived your work here at the farm in a positive manner. It appears that humility has got you far despite the short term of a month." Krothu smiles with the complete approval for the cat-folk. "Being a \u003cChampion\u003e, you are also required to be a leader of the people, guiding them into the prosperity of a brighter tomorrow. But a good leader starts from the very bottom, humbling and strengthening their will and personality to become one. Good leaders must first become good servants, to mould oneself into someone worthy of being looked up to by the public. After all, If the leader himself understands the plights of his servants, putting himself into their position as he comprehends the hardships and trials that they have faced, then I believed that any task at hand can be achievable with mutual willingness and appreciation to work with one another."

Isamu unmistakably was taken aback by the wisdom that was imparted to him. He indeed finds the lesson rather enlightening, as if feeling that he is a new and improved person out of the ordeals that he has experienced for the past one month of his stay here at the farmlands of Chadena.

"And with that, I hereby declare that your farming duties are completed," Krothu said with a wide grin as he felt proud of the cat-folk. "Meet me outside the manor tomorrow at 6 am sharp for your training. I expect nothing but only the best from you… \u003cChampion\u003e."

"Yes, sir!!!" Isamu saluted with utmost enthusiasm and vigour, his posture straight and unyielding while feeling a whole new level of achievement and happiness that he has not experienced for a very long time ever since he got inducted from the guild.
