More visiting cultivators came and helped out the soldiers. Most of them had an Earth Realm Cultivation Base. Blood flowed out of corpses and weapons were all over the ground. The Evil cultivators sucked the life force out of anyone they killed.

The two Sky Realm Cultivators were still in an intense battle as ripples in the air could be felt from afar. They continued to clash against each other. It was obvious that the commander of the soldiers was at a disadvantage because of his lower cultivation base. Although it was only a 2 grade difference, it had a massive difference in power as the higher the grade of the cultivation base, the more Cosmos Energy one could contain within their bodies. Also, Tyler had just broken through a few days before. He didn't have as much time to get used to the Cosmos Energy.

Suddenly, Jack appeared behind Tyler and stabbed him through the heart with his single dagger. He then twisted in and ripped Tyler's heart out of his body. Tyler's once bright eyes slowly lost its color. He coughed out some blood and and fell to the ground.

Jack looked at Tyler's lifeless body and absorbed his power. When he did, he achieved a Grade Breakthrough. His power increased and the aura around him became overwhelming

Sky Realm Grade-4!

Every Cultivator around sensed the Breakthrough. They knew that If they fought, they would die. They started retreating to the city while activating any long range techniques they had. Although they hated and wanted to kill the Devil Cultivators, they still didn't want to die a meaningless death.

Seeing this, the evil cultivators started to chase after them. Blood continued to spill throughout the battlefield. Fear and despair filled the eyes of everyone fighting against the Evil cultivators.

*Bell Chiming*

A bell suddenly rang throughout the city to tell the citizens to evacuate. When the citizens heard it, they started panicking and rushing to the back gate of the city. They pushed each other out of the way. This made people trip and also cause accidents. Of course, the rich had guards escorting them out and using their strength to push everyone else out of the way.

Alex sensed the commotion happening on the other side of the city with his Soul power. He then shook his head at the actions the people took.

Anna saw him do this and asked him.

"Why'd you shake your head?"

Alex turned to her and told her the situation on the other side of this city. Kids weren't sent out first. The rich were abandoning the weak by rushing out first. Family were being seperated. He kind of hoped that their would be a measure for this type of situation.

Anna looked at Alex with a weird expression. Although she trusted Alex, she didn't believe that he could see from such a distance. Alex knew her thinking and tapped her forehead gently. Using his 'Infinite Soul Convergence', he transmitted what he saw to her.

Anna felt something flowing into her mind. Countless images were playing within her mind and she saw the things that Alex was talking about. She didn't know why but she felt a bit disappointed.

She looked at Alex and wondered how he showed her those scenes. The aura around Alex was obviously abnormal. She felt a mysterious feeling from him.

Alex's gaze returned back to the battlefield where the people were fighting for the other people that were running away. Although he saw fear and despair within their eyes. He saw a burning determination to fight the Devil Cultivators and defend the city from them.

Alex saw the crazy expression on Jack and his army. He closed his eyes and stood up. He felt that he had seen enough.

Anna looked at him and saw that he was about to take action. She felt excited and nervous to see Alex's power.

This Bloody War was about to end.
