Caleb now just observed the Direwolf conserving his thoughts only to this, constricting his senses to only sense THIS .this one insignificant moment in time but significant to him and thats all that mattered.

Slowly the Direwolf approached Caleb spot but not with speed but with well-trained steps,like a true hunter of the night ,it was in its element now shaded by the undergrowth and its eyes now more emphasized by the dark glared out of the gloom like a demon ,the moments of its approach stretched out, every second now felt like minutes,every minute felt like and hour and without within this what felt like as if time froze Caleb's heart slowed and each beat was like a concussive blast . Caleb breathed one heavy breath and held it in and listened to his heart.
