Sky coffin

Chapter 16 Starving Ghost

Xu Tianxuan stood aside and looked at me quietly. He waited until the mountain was completely calm before pulling me up.

"It's not the time to be sad yet. What you have to do now is to leave here and return to your own body."

I wiped the tears from my face and asked, "Go back? How should I go back? Am I not already dead?"

Xu Tianxuan shook his head lightly and said, "You are indeed dead, but as long as you return to your body before dawn, you can come back to life."

Xu Tianxuan pointed to a path in front of him and said: "Keep walking along this road. No matter what you see or hear, don't pay attention to it, let alone look back."

"You can only walk this road by yourself. When the time comes, I will give you tips on the side."

When I look at the secluded path in front of me, I unconsciously think of the ghosts walking on this path.

Thinking of this, I felt terrified.

No matter how difficult the road ahead is, I must go on in order to survive.

I glanced at Xu Tianxuan and walked towards the quiet path.

There were overgrown weeds on both sides of the path, and there was a bit of mist on it, which looked particularly weird.

As I walked, there was a slight sound from ahead.

Listen carefully, it sounds like the sound of mouth chewing food.

I felt a little uneasy and my steps became hurried. Everything here was simply too weird, completely subverting my three views.

The more I thought about it, the more frightened I became, so I strode forward and ran forward.

There were gusts of wind in my ears, and under this wind sound, a sudden rustling sound came into my ears.

I clearly saw the grass not far away beginning to shake violently, as if something was about to rush out.

That's where the rustling sound came from!

I quickened my pace, and when I was about to pass by the bushes, a black shadow jumped out of the bushes.

Immediately afterwards I felt a cold feeling on my ankle, which was not good! Something grabbed my ankle.

I lost my center of gravity and fell to the ground. I looked behind me, and a chill shot from the soles of my feet straight to Tianling Gai!

The ghost hands that have always been pale are holding my ankle firmly.

Looking along the ghost hand, a man with only half his body left came into my eyes.

He was naked from the waist up and skinny, and his whole body was like a burnt dead tree, with only skin and bones left, without any flesh and blood, and his skin was loose, like a piece of clothing.

"Help me, help me, I don't want to be eaten! I don't want to be eaten!"

The man howled miserably at me.

I kicked my right foot desperately, but the ghost's hand seemed to be welded into my ankle, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't break free.

At this moment, the grass rustled again.

A ghostly face appeared, followed by the entire body.

His mouth was as thin and small as a pinprick, and his abdomen was as huge as a hill, as if he could eat anything.

The eye sockets were sunken and the eyeballs were ulcerated, but he could still tell the direction.

The corners of his mouth raised slightly, revealing a dark mouth, and a foul odor spread into my nose.

What is this!

Starving to death? !

He rushed towards the half-length man and bit the man on the shoulder.

"Ah! Help me! Please help me!"

The starving ghost began to eat the man's body. He took out the man's eyeballs and slapped his own eyes randomly.

The bloody eyeballs were teetering in the starving ghost's eyes.

I have to find a way to break free, because I know that once a man is eaten, I will be the next one!
