As soon as Long Fuzi walks away, Mu Yanxiao's attitude makes an abrupt change.

Raising her perfectly shaped eyebrow, she crossed her arms over her bosom and sneered. Then she casually wipes away her fake tears.

Due to what her cousin did, their Mu Clan fall into the disadvantageous side of the power clash back in the Long Kingdom.

Even her supposed engagement with the crown prince is no longer possible. Because the emperor views Mu Lingxi's action of running away as undermining the royal authority.

Her greatest dream is to marry the crown prince, she sees it as her life goal. But because of that inconsiderate cousin of hers, everything now is nothing but a pipe dream.

"Mu Lingxi, wherever the hell you are you better stay there. I'll make sure to bring our Mu Clan back to its former glory. So just stay where you are and never show up if you knew what's good for you!"

Janus, on the other hand, was running after Mu Lingxi but he was keeping a safe distance between them. Even the usually tactless cat was rendered speechless.

There is no doubt that he was good at teasing but comforting a heartbroken girl is not one of his specialty. So he just remains silent all throughout.

Either she realized that she lost her sense of direction or she just simply felt the exhaustion from running around, for whatever reason it is Mu Lingxi finally halted. Allowing Janus to catch up with his master.

She collapsed weakly on the grassy floor and continued her bawling. She had been running at full speed and crying her eyes out without minding her appearance.

Right now she looked so devastated that she had no choice but to remove her face altering mask for the meantime to fix herself.

As soon as she cast away her mask, a delicate-looking face of a girl appeared. Her eyes were red from crying and her hair is a mess as well.

But nevertheless she was still a rare beauty and she looks like a flower fairy amidst the full bloom garden of flowers.

Janus snuggle next to Mu Lingxi's lap. He looked up to his master and cleared his throat.

"MEOW"

[Ehem...ehem... Errr.... do you want me to sing a song for you?]

Intrigued and surprised, Mu Lingxi looked at her cat curiously.

"Do you know one?"
