The moving vines tried its best to grab them. But Mu Lingxi and her friends were also doing the same. They were trying their best to dodge and stay away as far as they could. Putting a safe distance from the reach of the moving vines.

The moving vines slithered along the way like snakes and more and more moving vines started to appear.

There is a source of light ahead of them. They just have to keep running and escaped that cursed forest.

Just a few meters more and they can already escape the pursuit of the moving vines.

Move forward!!!!

When the group reached the source of the light, it was another open field, much like a prairie.

Shen Biru is just one step away from escaping the cursed forest when one of the vines managed to grab Shen Biru's left leg. The moving vine wrapped around her.

"AHHHRRGGGG!!!!!!!!"

Shen Biru shouted as the vine dragged her on her feet and more vines wrapped around her body. Successfully trapping her.

"Shen Biruuuu!!!

Shen Biru was dragged in a nearby tree and she was nearly swallowed by the tree itself as more vines wrapped around her.

She tried her best to wrestle free, but the more she struggles the more vines wrapped around her body.

It only takes a few seconds before her whole body was swallowed in the tree, only leaving her face exposed.

"Shen Biru! You have to listen to me! Stop struggling and hold your breath! If I'm not mistaken, those are strangler trees"

Strangler trees are similar to strangle vines. They both work the same way in the sense that both of them had the same nature of attacks.

They used to strangle and wrapped around the body of their victim.

The only difference is that once you get caught with strangler vines, then you will be a goner. Because there is no way that the strangler vines will let go of its prey.

By the time a strangler vine has rooted down on the ground and can survive independently, it has already strangled and killed its host.

But that is what makes a strangler tree and a strangler vine different from one another. Because once a strangler tree sense that its victim stops moving anymore, it will release it.

So all Shen Biru has to do now is to pretend dead and wait for the strangler tree to release her.
