Chapter 224: Spirit Realm's Token

'Ding,

          Item name:- Spirit realm's token.

          Grade:- Unknown.

Use:- An item that helps the token holder to enter the spirit realm that opens once every 50 years.

          System holder:- Currently.

Note:- Previous token holder died and the token has no owner right now. Please pour some energy into the token to become the token holder.

Looking at the golden coloured pendant in his hands, Lucas was quite surprised after seeing the information about it.

A spirit realm is a special space that is filled with all kinds of treasures and resources that could increase the strength of anyone who enters it; however, those who enter that realm should fight for those resources and treasures with not only the beasts that guard those items but the other participants who enter the spirit realm.

'I wonder when it is going to open and what are the requirements to enter it.'

Lucas had a few questions; however, he stored it in his inventory and decided to get ownership of it after going back to his room.

Except for Bernard, no one knows what that item was and why their usually calm family head was so excited.

However, no one dared to ask about it and thought, 'Family head will inform them if they need to know about it.'

It was not that Lucas didn't trust them, it was just that he thought there was no need for them to know about it because, without a doubt, he would be the one who was going to use it.

Soon, Lucas searched the other storage rings and found some random number of spirit stones, gold coins and a few weapons.

Other than that, there was nothing more useful from their storage rings.

"Those who participated in today's fight will receive a spirit stone. Come forward and take it from Bernard which type of spirit stone you need."

While saying that, Lucas gave all the spirit stones he gained from the storage rings to Bernard before leaving for his room.

"Thank you, family head."

Everyone thanked Lucas as they were excited about the spirit stones because it would be their first time having a spirit stone of their own.

Even Harper and Reece only saw the spirit stones a few times in their life as they were very rare and only guild masters and powerful family heads would carry a few spirit stones on them.

So, of course, they were excited and started taking a spirit stone they wanted from Bernard.

"Young master, what is that item?"

While Lucas was returning to his room in a hurry to become the token holder, Beck caught up to him and asked with a curious look on her face.

"It is a token to enter the Spirit realm."

Since Beck was his loyal follower and even her system was his system's loyal follower, Lucas felt there was nothing wrong in telling Beck about the token. So, he answered without any question as he maintained his pace to the Raindrop manor.

"What? A spirit realm's token?"

Beck was shocked and could not help but shout out loud; however, soon, she covered her mouth and looked at their surroundings.

'Phew…there is no one around.'

Beck heaved a sigh of relief and said, "Congratulations, young master."

"Thank you."

Lucas didn't care whether anyone heard about the token or not as he casually thanked Beck and continued, "It's all thanks to you that I was able to get my hands on it."

"No, young master. It is my duty to follow your orders and it is all because of your careful planning."

Beck shook her head.

'By the way, what level is your system at?'

Lucas knew that Beck would give the complete credit to him. So, he didn't bother to talk about it anymore as he changed the topic and asked about the system through the voice transmission.

'I am still at level 1.'

Beck was a little disappointed as she replied, 'I need to evolve a spirit beast on my own through the manual method to level it up. However, it is very difficult.'

She complained about the difficulty in upgrading the system's level.

'Oh. Is that so?'

Lucas revealed a slight smile on his face.

'Young master, you are laughing at me.'

Beck made a crying look on her face as though she was about to cry anytime now.

'Stop with that act now. It will work if it was twice or thrice but not every time.'

With the same smile on his face, Lucas asked Beck to stop with her acting as he continued, 'If it is the evolution of any spirit beast, I can help you with the evolution process.'

'Really?'

The sad look on her face disappeared as it was replaced by an excited look as he asked Lucas.

'Yes,'

Lucas nodded his head as he asked, 'Didn't I already tell you that I have the ability to see the evolution paths for all lynx type spirit beasts?'

'Right! I forgot about it.'

Beck awkwardly looked at Lucas.

"Go and pick one of the rank 4 lynxes you want from the Lynx squad and form a contract with it."

Lucas shook his head with Beck's intelligence as he asked her to pick a lynx and see him later. So that he would tell all the required ingredients for the evolution process of that lynx.

"Yes, young master."

Nodding her head, Beck left to pick a lynx from the lynx squad.

'Now, I have to form a connection with the spirit realm's token and find out when the spirit realm is going to open.'

After Beck left, Lucas thought to himself as he entered his room.

'I hope it will open a little sooner as I can't wait decades for it to open.'

Lucas wanted to grow as strong as possible in a short time and the spirit realm was the best place that would make it possible for him.

So, he hoped it would open a little sooner and with that thought in his head, he dropped his blood on the golden token.
