'Hey, what is that light?'

'Don't tell me another family is getting blessed by the heavens.'

'Isn't it a good thing to have more and more heaven blessed families in our firmament? That way, our firmament's rank will be upgraded sooner or later.'

'But, the light is coming from the same direction as that of the family from the last time.'

'Stop thinking too much. How is it possible for the same family to get blessed within such a short time?'

'Yes. It was possible if there were any wars with the evil race; however, the firmament is very peaceful and only one or two evil portals are opening once in a while.'

All the people in the Barren firmament could see a bright light from the heavens landing on the ground and without a doubt, everyone could guess it was 'heaven's blessing' for a family.

Some thought the same family was getting heaven's blessing for the second time; however, they were mocked by others since it was almost impossible.

Nevertheless, almost all of the residents of the Barren firmament were happy with the appearance of another family being blessed by the heavens as it would help the firmament become much stronger to compete with the other firmaments.

In the royal palace of the Barren firmament,

"Minister, find out which family is getting blessed this time and I don't want the same thing that happened in Silverstone town."

"If they dared to not join the Crestalance family, then just erase the family using Heaven's bane stone."

As the most powerful and strongest man in the Barren firmament, Aston Crestlance's senses were a lot better than anyone else. 

Even with that, he was unable to guess that the Hellmore family was the family that was being blessed by Heaven's right now.

Nevertheless, he ordered the old man beside him that everything should be done properly this time.

"Your majesty, but there are only three Heaven's bane stones in the royal treasure and if we use such a valuable stone for a newly blessed family, it would be just a waste."

The old man didn't think much before replying to the middle-aged man with a face full of respect.

"You said that same thing last time and see what happened to the Hellmore family."

Aston was not happy with how things turned out with the Hellmore family.

The thing is, Aston wanted to erase the Silverstone town after learning that the Hellmore family was not willing to become a subsidiary of the royal family; however, he later found out that few representatives were having some plans for that town.

So, he decided to wait and see the Hellmore family's suffering; however, who would have expected that a newly established and blessed family would become so powerful in such a short amount of time that it could even oppose the three groups of representatives from the Alverton firmament.

Later, he didn't have plans to fight the Hellmore family because he already knew that the family's fate was sealed after messing with people from the Alverton.

What's more, they even killed almost all the sect leaders of the assassin sects in the Barren firmament.

So, in the end, he would be doing nothing to the Hellmore family; instead, enjoy the show while it gets destroyed by the powerful enemies.

As for the family that was being blessed right now, he didn't want to take any more risks as he did with the Hellmore family. So, he ordered the old minister to use a rare item to wipe the blessed family if they didn't want to become their subsidiary family.

"I will do as you say, your majesty."

The old minister didn't try to persuade King Aston anymore because he knew that King Aston would not listen to him after what happened with the Hellmore family.

"Good."

King Aston nodded his head as he focused on the colour of the light.

'Wait a second. It is red. That means, it is an earl grade family.'

The old minister also did the same as he tried to focus on the colour of the light from the heavens and noticed it was red.

All of a sudden, he understood why King Aston was serious because an earl grade family was just two grades less than the Crestlance family. 

If they let that family live, then it would be an obstacle for the Cresltance family to become the true king of the Barren firmament.

Soon, the old minister ordered the royal generals to take care of the blessed family at any cost.

Around the same time.

In the main branch of the assassin sect in the Crystalville firmament.

"What did you say? All the sect leaders in our branches of the Barren firmament were killed except for two?"

The sect leader shouted at an assassin sect's elder who was in charge of missions.

"Yes, sect leader. It happened three days ago when you were in seclusion."

The old elder respectfully replied to the sect leader who looked like he was in his late twenties.

"Yes, sect leader. What actually happened is…."

Soon, the old elder of the sect explained everything and said how much they lost for this mission and other things that the sect leader required to know. 

"So that plan to kill the target didn't go as we planned. Also, in return, our sect leaders and the top assassins from these subsidiary assassin sects are killed."

The sect leader's expression became ugly when he found out about the losses and became very furious.

"We are waiting for your orders for what to do next with the assassin sects in the Barren firmament."

Nodding his head, the old elder asked for the sect leader's orders.

"What else? Without the sect leader and the top-level assassins from those sects, how can they survive with the other sects and families in the firmament?"

The sect leader scoffed as he continued, "Dissolve all the sects in Barren firmament. As for the ones who survived, checked their talent and contributions before giving them the suitable positions."
