A golden coloured dragon spirit came out of the shadow dragon as it rushed towards the incoming purple coloured lightning strike.

'Roar'

Moreover, the golden dragon spirit released a cry that made eveyone standing in the Silverstone town close their ears as it was too loud for them.

As for the residents of the entire Barren firmament, they also felt a light shiver; however, it was only for a moment before disappearing without a trace.

Moreover, they were all focused on the golden dragon spirit that was rushing towards the seventh lightning strike.

'Wow…is that a dragon spirit?'

'How can a human have a dragon spirit?'

'What do you think? It might be some kind of energy skill that condenses the energy into a specific spirit beast.'

'From the looks of it, the dragon spirit is very powerful. I can say that it would reduce the destructive power of the lightning strike by at least half. What do you say?'

Soon, the golden dragon spirit and the purple coloured lightning strike collided into each other, releasing a huge blast in the mid-sky.

The place where they collided was completely filled with golden sparks and golden smoke.

'Did the golden dragon spirit stop the lightning strike?'

Lucas and everyone who were watching the sky were wondering about it as they could only see the golden coloured smoke and sparks in the air.

'It's beautiful.'

As for Beck and other female cultivators, they could not help but marvel at the scene in the mid-sky.

Lucas was getting annoyed at the purple smoke and he was gettinig anxious because when the seventh lightning strike landed on the shadow dragon, it didn't roar at all like how it was roaring previously.

'Also, this system is not sending any system notifications regarding the successful completion of the lightning tribulation or the energy in the seventh lightning strike.'

Lucas didn't give up and tried to move forward slowly as he didn't want to collide with others from the town.

'Wait a second.'

All of a sudden, Lucas thought of something and stopped in his steps and looked at the fingers on his left hand.

Of course, he was even unable to see his own fingers but still he thought of something that would help him in clearing the purple coloured smoke.

"Cosmic, take care of this purple coloured smoke at once."

Even though he could not see the little snake wrapped around his finger, he knew it was still there on his finger. So, he gave the order to the cosmic devouring snake to devour the purple coloured smoke.

'Although I don't know whether it was some kind of energy or just some random smoke, I don't think the little snake will have any problems in devouring it.'

This was the thought in Lucas' head as he waited for the little snake to do its thing.

'Hiss'

'Swoosh'

As he expected, the little snake around Lucas' finger opened its small mouth and all the purple coloured smoke around Lucas started disappearing.

'Ding,

          The cosmic devouring snake absorbed Heavenly purple energy and filled the progress bar.

'Ding,

          The cosmic devouring snake has successfully become a rank 3 spirit beast and unlocked a new skill.

It didn't take much time, before Lucas started receiving the system notifications in his head, making him pleasantly surprised.

'As I expected, the purple smoke is definitely not normal.'

Lucas thought that the purple smoke was definitely abnormal because of the fact that earlier, he saw black smoke which was much higher energy than anything that Lucas had ever felt.

Moreover, the purple smoke appeared when the last lightning strike landed on the shadow dragon. So, it was common sense that the purple coloured smoke was abnormal.

'So, it is called Heavenly purple energy.'

Lucas noted down the name of the purple coloured smoke around him while trying to absorb it into his body.

However, he was unable to absorb it into his body, making him stop trying it as he moved towards the shadow dragon as the route was cleared by the little snake.

"Lizard, are you alright."

Lucas rushed towards the shadow dragon that was not moving from its place. All of a sudden, he became worried and placed his hands on the shadow dragon.

'Ding,

          The host's guardian spirit beast has successfully undergone the lightning tribulation.

'Ding,

          Congratulations to the host for gaining a Heavenly ranked guardian spirit beast.

'Ding,

          However, it is still stabilizing its Heavenly power using the Heavenly purple energy. Please don't disturb it.

The system which didn't send him any notifications regarding the shadow dragon until now, sent him a series of system notifications, making him heave a sigh of relief.

Just the first system notification was enough for him to heave a sigh ofo relief because he was worried about the shadow dragon.

'As long as it survived the lightning tribulation, it is fine.'

Lucas lightly caressed the shadow dragon as he hurriedly asked the cosmic devouring snake, "Little glutton, you can stop absorbing the energy. Lizard needs the energy to stabilize its Heavenly power which I don't have any clue about."

Since the system clearly mentioned that the shadow dragon needs the energy to stabilize its heavenly power, Lucas stopped the snake.

'Hiss'

Even though the little snake was a little reluctant in closing its mouth, it still closed it before hissing.

"Good. Don't worry. You will get more opportunities to absorb the energy in the future."

Lucas lightly patted the little snake's head with his finger.

'System, what is this Heavenly power?'

From the name, Lucas guessed that it was something that only heavenly ranked beings could use or gain or awaken, he wanted to know what exactly it is.

So, he asked the system about it.

'Ding,

          When a being breaks into the heavenly rank, they will no longer be mortals and could be considered as Heaven's apostles. 

'Ding,

          At the same time, they awaken some unique power called 'Heavenly power' that can be used to rule over the other beings with low strength and low status.

Soon, two system notifications appeared in Lucas' head explaining about the Heavenly power.

'What? You know about Heavenly power?'

Compared to the knowledge he gained about the Heavenly power, what surprised Lucas the most was that the system knew about it.

After being shocked for a moment, Lucas carefully read the system notifications once again before nodding his head.

'Once the shadow dragon finishes stabilizing its heavenly power, I will investigate more about it.'

Since it would take a lot of time for him to become a Heavenly ranked expert, Lucas could only learn more about the Heavenly power from the shadow dragon because when he becomes a Heavenly ranked expert, he doesn't have to waste his time.

'The tribulation cloud is going away. It looks like the lightning tribulations are successfully over.'

'Yes. However, how can we tell whether the tribulation was successful or not?'

All of a sudden, Lucas heard a majestic voice from the distance as he hurriedly looked in that direction, only to see a huge flying spirit beast coming in their direction.
