Lucas stopped slashing at the two evil spirit beasts struck in the portal and hurriedly opened the sovereign shop.

The host had reached the perfect stage in the short sword mastery and all his attacks with the short sword will have a 10 percent additional damage to the opponents.

The host has reached a quasi lesser knight rank. Please kill a chosen beast to gain a knight's skill and become a true tier 1 lesser knight.

Lucas slowly backed off as he let the two evil spirit beasts recover and muttered to himself.

When a high-level squire's weapon mastery reaches the perfect stage, they have to kill a rank 3 spirit beast to officially enter the lesser knight.

Not only will they become a lesser knight, but they would also gain a knight's skill that was modified from the skills of the beast killed by the high-level squire.

It is the same for Assassins; however, Mages don't have to go through this process as they could learn spells that were similar to skills.

Luna looked at them and remained silent while thinking who knows what in her head.

After an hour or so, the two evil spirit beasts calmed down a little.

Until now, they were both furious and just wanted to come out of the portal first; however, with time, their meaningless anger also disappeared as one of the evil spirit beasts backed out.

"Everyone, get ready. You take the smaller one. I will go for the big one. Also, watch out for those spikes."

Seeing that, Lucas and others became alert as Lucas gave an order to the two girls before rushing to the slightly bigger evil spirit beast.

Lucas ran in a zig-zag movement which confused the evil spirit beasts and before it could notice what was happening, Lucas was already beside it as he made a deep cut.

Lucas didn't bother with the system notification in his head as he continued to make more and more cuts which were deep.

The evil spirit beast became furious as the sleeping spikes on its back started rising slowly.

"Do you think I will give you the chance to use that attack?"

Lucas was keeping an eye on the spikes all the time as he increased his slashing speed even more.

Moreover, his 10 percent additional damage because of his perfect stage mastery in the short swords made the cuts even more severely.

Soon, the rank 3 evil spirit beast was covered by black blood.

Even though Lucas was making cuts all over its body to confuse the evil spirit beast, his continuous slashes made very deep cuts in various places of the evil spirit beast.

And one of them was the evil spirit beast's head and Lucas pierced his two short swords into its head.

Lucas revealed a slight smile on his face as he rushed towards the other evil spirit beasts which were in a stalemate.

Currently, the weakened white lion and the netherworld's spider were stopping the evil spirit beast from using its spike attack. Whereas Luna and Beck were using some spells from the back to cause some damage.

However, they only have one intermediate spell and it costs a huge magic power which they already used when the fight started.

So, they could only use the basic spell to hold the evil spirit beast.

"You can relax, I will take care of it."

Lucas appeared beside the evil spirit beast and without waiting for anyone's reply, he made a long and deep cut on the evil spirit beast.

With the appearance ofo Lucas, both girls heaved a sigh of relief and relaxed.

In front of their eyes, within no time, Lucas killed the rank 3 evil spirit beast to death.

'He is first and his attacks seem random; however, they are not.'

'He is finding a weak spot...no, he is making his own weak spots on the spirit beast's body.'
