Yuan Ke held his phone in a dazed state. With an unreadable expression on his face, he looked at Qin Yu as he swiftly made sense of what was going on.

“Old Li?” Yuan Ke muttered after contemplating for a long while. He pointed at Qin Yu and asked, “Is it him?”

“As long as you don’t touch Qi Lin, nothing will happen to your goods and your men.”

“I have already given you a way out, so why did you still choose to stand with Old Li in the end?!” Yuan Ke bellowed as he glared at Qin Yu with widened eyes. “Do you think that he is a solid backing? I’ll fucking tell you, he doesn’t even have as many allies as I do in the Police Bureau! I might address him ‘Superintendent Li’ in the Police Bureau, but do you know what I call him outside?”

“I know that you have someone behind you.” Qin Yu nodded.

Yuan Ke couldn’t find any words to rebut that.
