In the air above the Tongyou Peak…

She Zhihong vented his anger by slamming a four colored spear light on the protection formation. 

A huge portion of the power contained in it was dissipated by the protection formation, and Liu Qinglan personally dealt with the remnant power.

A flash of worry crossed Liu Qinglan’s eyes but her gaze quickly turned cold. “The seal around the Coral Forest was broken twice… All we can do is to wait for news to return…” 

Kang Ci nodded his head but sighed softly, “I wonder if any Martial Extermination Realm experts fell during the battle…”

“There’s no need to speculate. Regardless of any sacrifices, our Tongyou Institution should stand victorious! We should receive news soon!” 

Kang Ci nodded. He wanted to say something else, but a ray of bright light shot towards the two of them.

“It’s here!” Liu Qinglan muttered.

Her voice trembled slightly, and Kang Ci realized that she had been putting up a strong front the whole time!

Sighing softly in his heart, Kang Ci saw how Liu Qinglan poked at the ray of light. It transformed into several words in mid air.

“Completed the mission, Jitang is lost!” The words lingered in the air for a second before dissipating in the air.

The two Martial Extermination Realm experts holding the fort didn’t know what expression they should show.

“Deputy Patriarch Liu is dead?!” Kang Ci muttered.

No matter what, Kang Ci could finally relax. He planned to return to the main hall to prepare to spread the good news and to make preparations to welcome the heroes back to the Tongyou Peak when he was interrupted by a gasp from Liu Qinglan.

“Do you have something you need to relay?” Liu Qinglan asked gently.

Replying with a curt chirp, the Lightning Bird released a strip of cloth from its claws.

Liu Qinglan reached forward as the strip of cloth slowly drifted towards her.

Kang Ci revealed a smile and praised, “This little bird is pretty smart!” 

“WHAT?! This… This is great!” Liu Qinglan roared with excitement after reading the words scribbled on the cloth strip. Her yells caused Kang Ci to jump in fright.

Before he could ask, she passed him the strip of cloth. “Junior Brother Kang, remain here! I’ll bring our disciples to attack the Four Spiritual Peak! If the message here is true, it’s our best chance to severely damage the Four Spiritual Peak’s foundations!” 

She disappeared after speaking.

Reading through the information on the cloth, Kang Ci muttered to himself, “Rank five undead corpse?! Rushing over to the Four Spiritual Peak?! Senior Sister Liu, you can’t leave me here, I want to join in the fun too!”

“Senior Yan, take care!” Sima Zhanxing knew that there was no time to lose. Grabbing Ran Biluo and ordering several Martial Intent Realm disciples to carry Yuwen Shengjie, they left hastily.
