Chapter 1077 Deep Sea

Lin Fan nodded slightly, with a hint of determination and expectation in his eyes. He watched Andy's back walking towards the depths of the melt cave, and felt an indescribable gratitude in his heart. Andy, this old man, gave him so much help and support in this strange world.

In the melt cave, a faint dark light filled the air, as if emanating from certain minerals on the cave wall. These faint lights look particularly mysterious in the darkness. They are intertwined and bring a glimmer of life to this underground world. Andy walked to the depths of the Melting Cave and began to draw a simple map for Lin Fan. His movements are skillful and serious, and every stroke appears so focused and vigorous.

The sound of dripping water echoed in the silent melt cave, as if the music of nature was playing. The sound was clear and melodious, reaching Lin Fan's ears and making him feel an inexplicable sense of peace. He stood quietly aside, his eyes never leaving Andy's figure.

Time passed quietly in the ticking sound. After an unknown amount of time, Andy finally put down the quill in his hand. He picked up the white paper with all the mountain roads drawn on it, and showed a satisfied smile on his face. Although this map is simple, it embodies Andy's countless efforts and wisdom. Every route and every mark represents his understanding and exploration of this underground world.

“Okay, the map leading to the cold pool is finally drawn!” Andy’s voice echoed in the melt cave, with a hint of excitement and pride. He knew what this map meant to Lin Fan, and also knew the challenges and dangers Lin Fan would face. But he believed that Lin Fan was capable of completing this task because he saw determination and courage in Lin Fan's eyes.

Lin Fan smiled faintly, a glimmer of light flashing in his eyes. He walked towards the satisfied Andy, his steps firm and powerful. He knew the importance of this map was self-evident. It is not only a guide to the cold pool but also a reflection of Andy's trust and expectations for him.

In the dim corner, Andy stood by the stone table with an indescribable smile on his old face. There was a depth and wisdom in his eyes, as if he could see through everything. He turned around and looked at Lin Fan, his eyes full of encouragement and expectation.

"Young man, go ahead. We are waiting for your good news..." Andy slowly handed over the map and a sharpened short blade. His voice was deep and powerful, as if there was a kind of magic that was irresistible.

Lin Fan took the map and the short blade and felt a warm current in his heart. He took a deep look at Andy, then nodded and turned around to walk deeper into the melt cave. His back gradually disappeared in the dim light, leaving Andy standing alone at the stone table with that indescribable smile still on his face.

Lin Fan walked along the map drawn by Andy. The terrain in the melt cave is complex and changeable, sometimes narrow and sometimes open. He carefully avoided the sharp rocks on the cave wall and the sudden traps, always keeping vigilance in his heart.

The route on the map guided him deeper and deeper into the melt cave. He passed through stalactite forests and crossed underground rivers. Every step forward brought him one step closer to the cold pool and made him more alert to unknown dangers.

After an unknown amount of time, Lin Fan finally arrived at the end point on the map - Hantan. The sight before him made him marvel. Hantan is located in the deepest part of the melting cave. The water is crystal clear and very cold. The pool is surrounded by a patch of white ice stones that sparkle charmingly in the dim light.

Lin Fan stood by the cold pool and took a deep breath. He could feel a biting chill in the air that seemed to penetrate his clothes and reach his bones. But he did not flinch but tightly held the short blade in his hand and looked firmly into the depths of the cold pool.

He knew that his task was not yet complete. He wanted to find what he needed in the cold pool and return safely. This is a test for him and a promise to himself.

Lin Fan took off his shoes and socks and stepped barefoot into the cold pool. The cold water instantly enveloped his feet, and a biting chill rushed down the soles of his feet and straight to his forehead. He couldn't help but shiver but quickly got used to the temperature.

He carefully walked forward in the cold pool, his eyes carefully searching the water. The cold pool was not deep, but the low visibility in the water and the light reflected from the surrounding ice rocks made it difficult for him to see clearly what was going on at the bottom of the pool.

Lin Fan held his breath, inserted the short blade in his hand into the pool of water, and groped forward. His movements were gentle and slow for fear of disturbing something in the pool. His heartbeat was particularly clear in the silent cold pool, as if every beat was reminding him to stay vigilant.
