"He is a faithful Buddhist. He has been educated by Buddhism since he was a child, and he has learned Buddhist theory. In Journey to the West, he is said in the eleventh chapter: He has been a monk since childhood, and he does not love glory and splendor, but only likes to practice silence and annihilation. The root of the investigation is good, the virtue is high, there are thousands of scriptures, and everything can be understood. The Buddha's name is Xianyin.

Of course, this does not mean that he believes in Buddhism or not, but at least it can mean that he has done a good job in his own job, because he has been living in a temple since he was a child, and it is difficult to learn Buddhism or not, which is involuntary.

It's like, although I don't like to study, but I'm willing to work hard, I study very well, and others think that I'm the spokesperson of Xueba, which is not a conflict.

However, experience tells us that doing one line is boring. If you turn your hobby into a career, you will be happy in a short time, and may feel disgusted for a long time.

Tang Seng has been a monk for a long time, and more and more people call him a holy monk, but has he ever doubted his beliefs or been shaken?

Let's take a look at a story that happened in Wuji Country.

In the Wuji Kingdom, one night, Sanzang said: The disciples walk hard, go to bed first, and wait for me to read this sutra.

Walker said: Master has gone bad, you have become a free monk, you have become a monk, which scriptures are you unfamiliar with?

Sanzang Dao: I came out of Chang'an, and I traveled to and fro, running around every day. I am afraid that the scriptures of the hour will be born. Fortunately, I have time to spare tonight, waiting for me to review and review.

This can be said from the side, Tang Seng's basic skills are not very solid, and the scriptures when he was a child feel alive.

In Journey to the West, Tang Seng has always been praised for not being afraid of hardships and overcoming hardships. Even if he was so timid and was caught by so many monsters, he could continue to learn scriptures. This is rare and true.

However, what Buddhism emphasizes is letting go, no attachment, no desire, and no desire. Did the Tang monk do it?

He didn't. If he had done it, he should meditate and cultivate instead of fetching scriptures. This shows that he has not cultivated to the essence of Buddhism.

On the sixty-fourth time, when Fu Yunsou was talking about the Zen machine with Tang monk, he laughed at him: "The Daoist, this is the Tian Dynasty, but he turned to the West to find out, forget his roots and study Zen, and vainly seek Buddhahood.

After listening to Tang Seng, he did not express any objection. He continued to think about his direction, and in the end he succeeded. His spirit has also been recognized and approved by the world. Secular, and his success is also secular. The status that Tathagata conferred on him is just a position, and it is not in the Buddhist sense that he attains Buddhahood through cultivation, enlightenment, and realization!

Through his own efforts, he overcame all kinds of difficulties and was recognized by the Tathagata, and he was conferred a Buddha position.

This kind of spirit, like us, is to set a goal for ourselves, and then strive for this goal, not afraid of hardships and dangers. Like ours, it is not a Buddhist practice!

Therefore, the author writes about the practice in religion, which is actually more like the practice in the secular world. It depends on how hard the Tang monk works and finally gets a position.

The Buddhist scriptures emphasize equality for all, but Journey to the West has designed Buddhism to be a strictly hierarchical organization. The Buddhist scriptures pay attention to not being persistent, but Tang Seng is set up as a firm and persistent person who seeks scriptures. The Buddhist scriptures pay attention to saving all beings, but Journey to the West However, it is said that taking the scriptures to relieve the disaster of Tang Taizong and bless the Taiping of the Tang Dynasty.

The Buddhist scriptures say that the mind is clear and the nature is self-realized, but the Tang monk was named Buddha by the Tathagata only after seeing the Tathagata bow down. "

Having said this, Qin Yu saw that everyone was thinking deeply, he paused for a while, and after ten seconds, he continued: "At this point, everyone may want to say, doesn't the author understand Buddhism?

In fact, from time to time, the author is not talking about religion at all, but about the secular world, society, and organization.

Tang Seng wanted to rush to this organization, starting from the beginning and reaching the end. This is his cultivation process. During this process, he has suffered repeated blows. Has he ever shaken his belief?

This is also the question I mentioned before, and what I want to say now is that the answer is yes.

In the [-]st chapter of Journey to the West, Monk Tang was ill, and it would be okay to leave for a few days after recovering from a minor illness. However, Monk Tang retreated. He wanted to write a letter to teach Sun Wukong to Tang Taizong. Decided to give up!

This is the time when he has experienced so many things, and he has had the biggest doubts and shakes. He also constantly reflects on and summarizes, is it meaningful to go on like this, and is it meaningful to believe in Buddhism?

In the ninety-first chapter, as we are getting closer and closer to the Buddha, the author wrote in the first sentence: Huabiao, Tang monk, master and apprentice, left Yuhua City, and the journey was smooth, which is the so-called land of bliss.

This means that from here to Leiyin Temple, it is the site of the Buddha, the land of bliss.

A monk met by the four groups bowed to the Tang monk and said, "Where is the teacher?"

Tang Seng said: Disciple from the Chinese Tang Dynasty.

The monk fell down and bowed down, so panicked that Tang Seng picked him up and said, "Why did the master of the house make such a big ceremony?

The monk folded his palms and said, "Those who are good at me here, read the scriptures and recite the Buddha, and they all hope to cultivate to your place of birth. "

After saying this, Qin Yu raised his head, smiled, and said, "Have you seen that good people born in the land of bliss all count on cultivating Taoism to support students in the Chinese region, do you think this is funny?

The monks who were born in the land of bliss all dreamed of going to China to give birth, while the Tang monks in China all dreamed of the bliss of the West.

On the Lantern Festival, the monks accompanied Tang monks to set up to watch the lanterns. There were three golden lamps, the size of the jars, each jar contained [-] catties of crisp sesame oil, three jars [-] catties, and the total amount of silver would be more than [-] taels. There are big households in the [-] hometown and even tired.

One night, the Buddha appeared, and the oil was gone!

Bajie smiled and said: I think the Buddha even took away the oil.

The monks said: To confirm this, people in the city, from ancient times to the present, are all legends like this, but when the oil is dry, it is said that the Buddha has collected the lamp, and the grain will be abundant. Famine and drought, bad wind and rain, so everyone wants this contribution! "

After saying this, Qin Yu put down the original book, looked at the students, and continued: "The ones who collected the oil were actually three rhinoceros, not the Buddha, but this is in the land of bliss, on the site of the Buddha, these three Rhino essence has been collecting treasures in the name of Buddha, and it has been like this since ancient times, but Buddha did not ask, always acquiesced, did not punish them, and let them continue to collect, do you think this is strange?"

(Today this is the tenth update, the author will see if you can work hard, can you code another update, please support!).

Chapter 86

"As I said before, the Buddha's disciples have to collect money for chanting, which is not a good thing, so it is very possible that this Buddha will charge other people's oil money, and by the way, bless the weather here.

After that, Sun Wukong enjoyed the blessing of three rhinoceros, and [-] big sesame oil households came to reward him. The Tang monk instructed: Wukong, it’s hard for those big households to go away. Another disaster, which is deeply inconvenient.

It is strange for everyone to see what Tang Seng said. Usually, if the monsters are finished, the villagers will thank them and ask them to thank Buddhism. This is a good thing. How could the Buddha take offense?

Moreover, it is very funny that this offends the Buddha and causes misfortune. The meaning of Tang Seng is that when the Buddha blames, they will be in trouble. It can be seen that Tang Seng has a deep understanding and knows that the leadership has always been there to make ghosts!

From this, it can be seen that Tang Seng has fully understood.

Of course, in the section of Tongtian River, Tang Seng asked where the people who were walking on the ice were going, and Chen Lao said: These people are all doing business. What is worth a hundred dollars here can be worth ten thousand dollars there, and what is a hundred dollars there can be worth ten thousand dollars here.

Benefit is more important than capital, so people go away regardless of life and death. There are five or seven people in a boat, or a dozen people in a boat, across the ocean, and seeing that the river is frozen now, so they sacrifice their lives and walk. "

Having said this, Qin Yu smiled and said, "Do you know what Tang Seng said?"

  "What did you say?"

"Mr. Qin Yu is selling out again."

"Tell me now, Teacher Qin Yu!"

Many students were helpless, urging Qin Yu to explain the following quickly.

Qin Yu smiled faintly at this moment, and said: "After listening to that Tang monk, he said: In the world, fame and fortune are the most important things. It seems that he is for profit, and he will give up his life and forget his life. Geometric difference!"

This sentence clearly shows the heart of Tang Seng, whether he believes in Buddhism or not.

He said very clearly that he is for fame and fortune, for full loyalty, and for the sake of learning, and he is no different from those businessmen who are for fame and fortune. He has already lost his faith.

If you truly believe in Buddhism, it is absolutely impossible to say such a thing. This is equivalent to saying that you only care about fame and fortune, and don’t you slap yourself in the face”? "

After some interpretation, when Qin Yu said this, it was really finished. Whether Tang Seng believed in Buddhism or not, and whether he had shaken his belief, it can be said that he made it clear.

He is a believer in Buddhism, and he is an eminent monk, known as a holy monk. However, his faith has long been lost, and he even had the idea of giving up on learning scriptures. In the end, the only thing that drives him to go west is fame and wealth. , is the golden body of Zhengguo!

"It's really embarrassing. I always thought that Tang Seng was only praying to the Buddha in order to persevere to the West, but now everything has changed."

"Movies are all beautified, but the originals are really different."

"This is the real world. Who doesn't fight for fame and fortune?"

"The author is great, and so is Teacher Qin Yu. We have been misled by film and television dramas for too many years."

  Many people sighed.

"By the way, I still remember Tang Seng and his disciples went to Lingshan and went to get the scriptures, the two Tathagata's subordinates asked Tang Seng and others for treasure and bribes. I remember that they were taught a lesson by the Tathagata. This is true or false. Or did the Tathagata instruct them to do it?"

A student in the classroom asked, because Qin Yu said that the Tathagata was greedy for money, and he suddenly remembered this.

After Qin Yu heard it, he smiled and said, "This classmate's question is very good, and I was thinking about it.

First of all, it has always been said that Tang Seng wanted to get scriptures from the West, and the scriptures from the West. What scriptures he went to are all in the original text.

There are thirty-five volumes and five thousand and forty-eight volumes. I will not mention the names of the scriptures.

In other words, Tang Seng, accompanied by the two old comrades who were responsible for preaching the scriptures, Ananda Kasyapa, visited the Treasure Pavilion, and the two old comrades said to Tang Seng: The holy monk is here, what kind of personnel do you have to send us?Quickly take it out, so that I can pass the scriptures with you.

After Sanzang heard this, he suddenly became stupid. He had come this way and had no money at all, so he could only say: Disciple Xuanzang has come a long way, and he was not prepared.

The two venerables laughed and said, "Okay, okay! The economy is handed down from nothing, and future generations will starve to death!

When the practitioner saw that he was speaking awkwardly and refused to pass on the scriptures, he couldn't help but shouted dryly: "Master, let's go and tell the Tathagata, and ask him to pass on the scriptures to his grandson."

Ananda said later: Don't shout! What the hell is this place, you are still acting wildly, come here to receive the scriptures!

This time, the white paper scriptures are worn, as everyone knows.

Afterwards, Tang Seng and his apprentice were anxious and returned to Lingshan to inform the Tathagata.

Then, the Buddha smiled and said: I already know how the two of them asked you about personal affairs.

But only the sutra should not be passed on lightly, nor can it be taken empty-handedly. I went down the mountain to the monks and holy monks of the time. I once recited this sutra with him at the house of the elder Zhao in the state of Sawei, to protect the safety of the living and the detachment of the dead. Only After begging him for three buckets and three liters of rice grains of gold to come back, I also said that they were too cheap to teach their children and grandchildren to have no money to use... That is to call A Nuo, Jia Ye, and then pass on the scriptures with characters. "

After saying this, the corners of Qin Yu's mouth twitched, and said, ".. You see, the Tathagata didn't get angry at all after hearing this, but said it with a smile, and he didn't care about his disciples going out to chant scriptures and collecting money. Saying it out of taboo proves that this is a well-known thing, and also said that it is reasonable to ask Tang Seng and others for money.

Attention everyone, the Tathagata has already been informed about this second sutra, but Ananda Kasyapa still asks Tang monks and disciples for money!

This is what Tang monks and masters have told the Tathagata, but it's useless at all. This is what the Tathagata acquiesced in. Ananda Kasyapa is not afraid at all, so ask for it again. Could it be that you go to the Tathagata again?

Just think about it, this is what the Tathagata meant by going to the East to find someone to fetch the scriptures, not the people of the East who insisted on coming to learn the scriptures.

But Tang Seng and his apprentice traveled for fourteen years. They encountered so many monsters along the way, and their lives were in danger several times. They had to pay money to get the scriptures!

In other words, this scripture has to be bought with money, not the so-called sincerity of your heart, you can get the scriptures!

Do you think this Tathagata is a good calculus, (by Li Zhao) not only can he make his own Buddha Dharma transfer east, but also make a fortune, so don't be too greedy!

You don't have to do anything yourself, you can command everything from a high place, and you can let others spread the Dharma to the East, and you can also collect money.

Afterwards, Tang Seng was very helpless, so he had to give them the purple-gold bowl given by King Qin Shou of Tang, and offered them with both hands: "Jin Te, and talk about your heart."

Ananda just held on to the bowl, and Kasyapa went to pass on the scriptures.

Tang Seng finally got the scriptures and was ready to return.

However, at this point, I want to say, do you really think that this Tathagata is asking Tang Seng and others for ordinary money, and he lacks that little money?

Everyone should know that his disciples passed on the scriptures for three buckets and three liters of rice grains of gold. Tang Seng and others must not have so much wealth.

Therefore, I can tell you responsibly that it is not, the Tathagata has other plans! "

(Ten updates! More than [-] words, thank you for your support, and continue to update tomorrow!).

Chapter 87

After this remark came out, everyone was puzzled. It wasn't Teacher Qin Yu who said that the Tathagata was greedy for money before, so he asked for personnel. Why is he saying that he has other plans now? Isn't this a contradiction?

Qin Yu smiled at the moment, and said, "Don't worry everyone, listen to me slowly, in fact, there is another secret story mixed in here, which must be read together with the previous story.
