Succubus-san's Life in Another World

Fourth Competition Garuda Chute

The third competition is over, and the fourth competition, which is finally a turnaround, begins.

The fourth competition is not a team fight, it's an individual fight. It's a competition like the Clay shooting. It magically shoots out the jumping target, and the number of shots out the target determines the ranking. By the way, as the name of the competition name Garuda Shoot suggests, the target is made by imitating Garuda, a monster. Most of all, it's not an elaborate magic creature like Shogo, it's a self-flying golem, so the magic props are closer.

'Then it seems that the fourth competition, each player, is ready. Then let's get to the first shot quickly. Let's start with Team A, Jassie, please!

Unlike previous competitions, the fourth competition will challenge each player to compete one at a time. The garuda chute starts with a single shot, and does 5 sets of it. It would be nice to rank there, but if there are players of the same point, there will be 5 more sets. If you still can't decide, shoot one shot at a time and lose if you remove it first.

The first shot looks like Jassie from the A-Team. I do think she was a good girl student with Kiara on the B-team, but I remember she wasn't keen on training, although she was a part of the student council.

"Phew…… go ahead"

A beat after a deep breath. Garuda released from the front at Jassie's signal is pierced by an arrow of fire released from Jassie's right hand.

It's not so bad with the speed at which magic occurs, the efficiency of magic, and the speed at which Jassie herself reacts. I think Jassie was definitely lower in this exam, but I don't think so.

"Jassie, you've hit the first shot of tension brilliantly! Followed by Team B! I'm a sola player! Please.

"Anytime, fine, dude!

Continuing with Jassie, it will be Sola's first shot. I don't care what the word that signals is, but apparently the ejection officer mistaken it for a signal just "at any given time" flew Garuda before Sora's signal was finished. Still, now Sola can use the magic of the lightning attribute. With that magic, which reaches the subject overwhelmingly faster than the magic of other attributes, he shot through the garuda that jumped out of the right without panic.

"Oops! Looks like trouble fitted, but I beat through the garuda with no problems! This is followed by Team C, Joaquin!

"Phew...... Yikes! Please!"

Joaquin of Team C, along with Leaf, is the student I gave Grimoire to and who became a wizard from the sorcerer. Joaquin, who has been able to use the magic of thunder since he was a magician, can still use the magic of thunder even after becoming a wizard. Still, although I still struggled with the important magic of the image and the magic of doing a determined operation, there was now a sola in front of Joaquin who freely manipulated thunder.

Sora's magic was originally close to efficiency, control, power and textbooks, or it's a great way to set an example. Therefore, even if it is a special attribute called lightning attribute, I can learn to some extent by simply mimicking hers. At any rate, Joaquin and Sola are different teams. If it was the same team, it could have been a powerful tag.

Such Joaquin's first shot was terribly critical. The lightning emitted has the nature of being guided against objects only slightly, so although I managed to hit the garuda feathers, on the contrary, they were supposed to be guided, but only the feathers. That probably means Joaquin isn't skilled enough.

'Joaquin, does it feel like you've managed to say something? This is followed by Team D, Coot!

"Okay, please!

Garuda flies out from the left at Coot's signal, and a flash of light causes Garuda to fall to the ground. At first glance it is a garuda with no signs of destruction, but there is a hole in its center that looks like it was stabbed with a needle, and its perimeter is slightly scorched.

"Is this…… light?

"Light? What do you mean, sister"

"As it were, Kurt is a wizard with light attributes. Normally, when it comes to light, it can only be used for about the light, but still, if you collect a lot of light in one, it will be a great force. It's like collecting sunlight with magnifying glasses."

I don't know if there's an experiment in science in this world, but I can generate enough energy to burn a newspaper if I light it up and concentrate on one point. However, there are not so many wizards in this world who can use attack magic with light attributes. Is this also the result of my training?

The competition will continue afterwards and the five shots will end. At this point, Jassie took off her fifth shot and looked deliberately removed, but Sola scored full, Joaquin took off two shots, and Coot scored full.

At this point, third and fourth place will be decided, making it a one-horse hit for Sola and Coot. The five shots that follow do not detach from each other, and finally enter the one-shot extension line.

Sola strikes out the garuda with thunder and drops the garuda to the ground with invisible light that Kurt does not see in his eyes. Attack that lasts several times. Though one of the two riders thought it would last forever, the end came abruptly.

"So, 32nd shot, Coot, please."

"... please"

Garuda, flying at Coot's signal, disappears straight to the other side of the sky without falling into the ground and being interrupted by anyone. Coot distorts his face with regret, but I can see little magic left in my eyes. Magic that refracts light, collects it and shoots it through. No matter how much more efficient magic control I train for, it doesn't make any difference how much magic I use.

"Oops! Coot, I can't activate magic! Looks like it's out of magic! But good work so far! Ladies and gentlemen, give a round of applause to the well-fought Coot players!

Other magic would still have afforded it. If that's the wind or the water, we could still afford to shoot a few shots. Still, Kurt was a light attribute and probably wanted to compete with his absolutely confident magic.

The audience at the venue continued to give a spare round of applause to Coot, who stood up regrettably to see if he knew that too.
