529 The one on one sparring match begins

Everyone looked at Jun Ye Rim with the expression ‘Are you tell us now!’

*Clap* Vincent stood up after attracting attention to him. “At least we have enough proof after witnessing what is happing with our own eyes.”

Vincent clenched his fist and continued, “Knowing the time and date will be our proof. This will help us moving forward with this situation.”

“Moving forward?” Asked Lilith.

Vincent released his clenched fist and smiled. “Ohh! It is nothing, hehe.” He lied while acting as if he wasn’t planning to do something alone.

“That’s not...” Lilith stopped when Vincent winked at her. She understood Vincent might have a plan that isn’t suitable to discuss here.

Lilith winked back and didn’t ask about what he was planning. “Moving forward probably means having Jun Ye Rim come with us home.” She said to stop anyone else from asking.

“I thought so too. ” Ester said after she saw the two of them exchange winks.

*Sigh* “Tiffi and I will be going back. It was a bothersome day today...” *Sigh* “I can’t tell teacher Darwin what we have found out about his daughter.”

.....

“It is okay, teacher Maria. I will keep an eye on Melissa when she doesn’t disappear.” Tiffi said reassuringly.

*Sigh* “Thank you, Tiffi. You are a good student.”

Tiffi blushed when someone like Maria, with a unique personality, praised her.

Tiffi moved her gaze, seeing everyone congratulating her with a warm smile. She felt happy for things had turned out like this. Everyone was showering her with sincerity and kindness.

Maria and Tiffi shortly left while everyone else took the chairs inside. Later that evening, Ester, Lupa, Kazumi, Iris, and Lilith laughed after hearing what he was planning. However, none of them disagreed with his plan.

*Day 167 – 22 November – Sunday*

Sunday morning resumed as normal. Vincent and the others with Jun Ye Rim following them soon met with Maria and Tiffi. They later met with Sofy and left.

Similar to the previous Sunday, Vincent could always see a group of five soldiers patrolling near the Emerald Lionheart Mansion.

Nonetheless, even if the mansion and the residents were safer than before, Vincent was still feeling a little hesitant to proceed with his upcoming plan.

Upon their arrival, the twins told Vincent how the Ponalis carriage had arrived a few minutes ago.

Later, Vincent could see Aceon exiting the carriage, and when Aceon saw his daughter, a large hug ensued.

“Aceon. Could we go to discuss something?” Requested Vincent. He wanted to ask Aceon about how dangerous it would be to do something to the five students harassing and beating Jun Ye Rim.

“Sure.” Agreed Aceon.

Vincent looked at his wives and requested, “Could you tell Sakura I am going to be a little bit late?”

“I will tell her first, my mate.”

“Plow will tell Sakura Sakura first.” *Pho*
Vincent chuckled and led Aceon to the living room while leaving Lupa and Plow competing on who would find and tell Sakura first.

Vincent and Aceon sat in the living room alone. Zefine entered, pushing a small trolly with refreshments.

“Aceon. What can you tell me about the Broklight family, the Litrock family, the Blackotter family, the Hueclam family, and the Masotok family?” Vincent asked before grabbing a cup of tea and taking a sip.

“Hmm.” Aceon rubbed his chin and took the biscuit. After smiling from the good taste, he said, “Broklight and Litrock families are Viscount families. Hueclam and Masotok families are Count families. The Blackotter family, on the other hand, is a Marquis family. ”

[Only one of them is a Marquis family. Heh. We know stronger families that can back us up if they retaliate against us.]

[I bet these five families will have a second thought before trying something against us.]

-Yeah. I will be painting on only three of them since the other two are mages.-

Vincent nodded and acted as if the information didn’t shock him. He finished his tea calmly and gave the cup to Zefine.

“Is there a reason you asked me this, Vincent?” Asked Aceon while feeling a little bit worried from hearing five specific noble family names.

“Two last questions. What factions do they belong to, and what is their finical status?”

*Gulp* Aceon felt this might be the time to start worrying. He might end up not being able to visit his daughter if it keeps going like this.

“The five of them are with the aristocrat faction now. Two of them switched sides a year ago, if memory serves me right.”

*Sigh* “But about the finical standings, I do not know that much other than they are doing better than I was before Tiffi’s awakening happened.”

Aceon grabbed three biscuits and ate them simultaneously to calm his nerves. He was about to grab another biscuit when he remembered something.

“I also heard a rumor about the Blackotter family. The rumor is about them having a secret business connection with the Blackheart family. Yet again, it could be false because some people mistake noble families of a similar name.”

Vincent stood up. “The offspring of those five family’s dared threaten and injure one of my teammates after she coincidentally discovered a secret of theirs.”

“They might end up our enemies next.” Vincent casually said after learning how they aren’t from a Duke family nor on the royal side.

“Huh!?” Aceon could say while watching Vincent leave without any worries in the world.

Later that evening, Vincent and Sakura went to eat dinner. However, Vincent looked at his stats for a long time with a sad expression.

.

[Name] Vincent Lionheart

[Soul Power] 980sp

[Stats] Strength 74 || Agility 59 || Perception 48 || Mana 322

.

“Did the potion not work?” Asked Sakura out of worry.

Vincent stopped looking at his status window and held Sakura’s hand. “It worked, but the stat growth has reduced considerably. Don’t worry and let’s go to eat. I am hungry.”

“You made me famished too, hehe.” Sakura giggled and enjoyed the walk.

After dinner and taking a rest from the meal, Maid Xu gave Vincent a magic contract scroll in Bessy’s stead because she returned and left at about noon.

Vincent and the others later left for the academy to start the next week. However, only one person didn’t sleep that well on Sunday night. Aceon was too worried to sleep.

*Day 168 – 23 November – Monday*

Vincent woke up early on Monday morning. He went to visit Zero before his morning run.

Vincent gave Zero a head pat and guessed it had grown up to two and a half feet now. Additionally, its upper body was slowly starting to resemble that of a Seed Guardian. Even its arms and human-like hands were starting to take shape.

Currently, Zero looked like it was the child of a Seed Guardian, giving the impression Zero might grow to become a seven-foot plant monster. At that stage, giving a head pat would become impossible.

After spending a few minutes with Zero, Vincent started running.

*Lusterfall Noble Academy – Training Grounds*

Vincent and Nick arrived at their morning physical lesson.

Vincent saw Biro arrive, and he swiftly went to talk to request a sparring match type of lesson today.

“It doesn’t sound like a bad idea, but why do you have any interest in sparing against these weaklings? Isn’t sparring with Ollie like usual better?”

“Teacher Biro doesn’t need to worry because this is a one-time request. ” Vincent glanced at his three targets and continued, “I have reasons to officially beat three bitches up. Additionally, I will not use my ability nor Force Shock.”

“Hmm...” Biro looked at Vincent’s behavior and decided his suggestion was better than something like the Paradise Island incident with Kilo Blackheart.

“Fine. But do not go overboard since you are still using that bad potion to become stronger.”

“I still haven’t aged a bit. The side effects do not work on me, haha.”

*Sigh* Biro shook his head. He wanted all time he spent worrying about Vincent to return. It was obvious from Vincent’s young smooth skin that he didn’t age one bit.

Biro went in front of the students and loudly called for attention. He grabbed Vincent by the shoulder, and with a smug smirk, he announced, “I know how everyone grunts and thinks I am giving preferential treatment to Vincent Lionheart. Thus I have a great opportunity no one will want to miss.”

[Ohh, boy... I have a bad feeling about this.]

*Gulp* -Me two...-

“Vincent Lionheart will fight in one on one matches with all of those attending today. Whoever wins will be personally trained like Vincent Lionheart.”

The students became happy with this opportunity. Only Nick wanted to decline the opportunity to be beaten by Vincent.

Nick raised his hand and requested, “Can I not compete? I do not want my classmates to think Vincent will lose on purpose to me.”

“Haha. It looks like everyone is nodding with agreement. ” Biro slyly smiled and continued, “I will call the names to start this mini event.”

Nick happily went beside Ollie, sitting on the grass.

“Now, this is going to be boring. ” Ollie told Nick.

“Yeah. Vincent has become too strong for me to consider sparing against him. Even his wife Lupa is frightening me when we spar.”

“Lupa? Ohh! The beastman of the white wolf species looked energetic when she was trying to become an adventurer.”

“Energetic?” Nick shivered as if he recalled a bad memory. “That is nothing compared to how I always feel like prey.”

Ollie noticed it would be best to enjoy the show instead of chatting. He looked at Vincent raising his hand wearing a pair of spiked wood gauntlets and his opponent getting up after losing.
