The Hero and the Young Wife

Nasser was about to embark on his journey as a Dragon Summoner.

The “Summoner” cannot summon anything as it is.

In order for unmarked summoners like Nasser to be able to call summoned beasts, they need to receive the summoner’s “job” and “seal”.

However, as the job is only a title, the most important thing is the ‘curse mark’.

In order to become a dragon summoner, Nasser was also waiting for his turn in the strict ceremony of job change to become a summoner at a school in the kingdom.

With a special ink in their hands, they inscribed the summoners one after the other with the “curse mark”, and even Nasser’s skin was scarred with needles and blades as they inscribed the “spell mark”.

Nasser’s face contorts in pain, but he endures.

Then, after enduring the summoner’s ritual with intense pain, the word “Dragon” appeared on his chest.

The pale glow, accompanied by a slow heat, allows Nasser to call the dragons.

“Dragons!”

─ dragon.

In response to Nasser’s call, a summoning magic circle appeared.

A transparent circle with a series of complex ancient letters appears in the sky and repeats light and dark. It’s like a heartbeat –

There is something that comes out of it.

The figure of a dragon clothed in particles of light.

“Kyuru~a~aaaaa!!!”

It shouted as if he was happy to be here in this world, and appeared in the air with great strength, a dragon with beautiful blue scales!

And then, at the same time, the status screen appeared.

The screen in front of Nasser looked like a transparent glass plate, with a string of text all about the dragon’s status.

Nasser became a “Dragon Summoner.”

The first dragon he ever summoned roared majestically.

Nasser was moved to tears at the sound of his voice, moved by the feat he had achieved.

“……….”

From then on, it was a turbulent time.

After graduating from school, Nasser joined the Royal Army and found himself fighting against the Demon King’s army.

Dragon summoners are in great demand.

In addition to the kingdom’s army, it is also used as an excellent strategy in other countries, but Nasser did not feel like leaving his hometown.

This is the country of the heroes – the front line of the battle against the demon king’s army.

So Nasser decided to stay. To protect his homeland ……and his country.

From then on, he spent his days fighting against the Demon King’s army and working for the peace of the kingdom.

Although no major battles have been fought, the demons continue to move south every day, putting pressure on the front line.

Nasser, too, fought daily with his dragons.

Days of killing and being killed.

In the midst of endless fighting, Nasser grew from a rookie to a seasoned soldier.

His rank had risen and the medals on his chest had increased.

But one day.

A very powerful demon appeared and broke through the defences of the kingdom’s army, causing great damage.

It is called Behemoth.

The behemoth, a huge, purple-colored creature, charged forward with a host of demons around him. In no time at all, it penetrated the walls of the castle and overran the walls of the soldiers who were behind it.

Nasser and the other summoners also struggled, summoning dragons, golems, and heroes, and barely succeeded in stopping them.

The wounded Behemoth fell back, and the avalanche of the Demon King’s army was repulsed by the army reserves.

The front was finally returned to its previous stance, but during the fierce fighting – Nasser was also badly injured and was sent back.

After some time of wandering between life and death – Nasser regained consciousness. On his chest he wore the medal awarded to wounded veterans. But Nasser, as a soldier, couldn’t accept the reality.

As an after-effect, Nasser’s endurance was severely impaired.

Eventually, his injuries made it impossible for him to endure long marches and he was forced to give up his military career.

After being honorably discharged, Nasser quit the army.

However, at the urging of his superiors, Nasser signed up as an adventurer with the Adventurers’ Guild, a group of veterans, and began a new life.

There, he met Alicia, a new adventurer in the guild. They fell in love and got married …….

Nasser was 30 and Alicia was 16.

The days were happy.

A young and beautiful wife, a new life, new friends, Nasser was happy and content.

One day. Nasser receives a request from the adventurer’s guild.

The request came directly from the master of the adventurer’s guild.

He wanted Nasser, who was well known as a veteran adventurer, to train as an adventurer.

And he introduced him to a young man.

He was a young man that the kingdom had summoned from another world to fight against the Demon King’s army.

He was called Kōji Yashima.(コージ・ヤシマ)

A handsome young man with black hair and dark eyes.

He was the legendary ──── “hero.”

The kingdom was exhausted by the battle against the Demon King’s army.

In order to get a decisive victory, the king asked for a “hero” who was told in the legend.

The king, who knew from documents handed down from generation to generation in the royal family that heroes were once summoned from another world, decided to hold a ceremony to summon the heroes.

It is said that there was a lot of resistance from people other than the king to bring a human weapon with the power to destroy the demon king by himself to the kingdom.

That’s probably true.

If the heroes can’t be control…..it’s the kingdom that will pay the brunt of it

With the support of the king, the summoning of the heroes is carried out in the end.

A sorcerer was immediately summoned and, through an ancient ritual, he was summoned as a ‘hero’.

This was the moment when the kingdom became a country of heroes again.

The young man who is summoned, “Koji the Hero”, is welcomed with joy by the kingdom.

This is because he was undoubtedly a “hero.”

As if to symbolise his power, he uses the holy sword with ease, which no one has ever been able to use before, and even the most powerful ancient magic is used childishly.

Even those who were sceptical at first, after witnessing his power, became steadfast in their belief in the Hero  Kōji.

After that, he was heavily used by the kingdom as a trump card in the war against the demon king.

As part of this, he was temporarily sent to the adventurer’s guild in order to gain experience first.

The hero, Nasser, only heard the story from the man himself.

Anyway,

The guild offered Nasser, an experienced adventurer, the job of looking after Kōji.

Nasser did not want to be disturbed in his life with his new wife, but he had no choice but to invite the hero Kōji into his house, because Alicia said that she would accept him.

In the beginning, the hero was reserved because of the lodging, but as his ability increased, his arrogant attitude began to stand out.

Nasser was also concerned that Kōji was too close to Alicia.

Despite this, Nasser continued to be kind enough to treat Kōji as he thinks, there was no way Kōji  was going to touch a married woman.

However, ever since he took Kōji into his home, his life with Alicia has changed.

Night life was not an option, of course, and it was only in the beginning that he accompanied Kōji  to complete the guild’s quests.

Eventually Kōji started to work on his own, and Nasser went back to completing quests with Alicia.

However, Alicia was sometimes reluctant to accompany him on guild and quest trips because of family matters – and by the time a year had passed since he had taken Kōji into his lodgings, Nasser was mostly on his own.

That’s right…….

In Nasser’s absence, Kōji  and Alicia had become close friends. ────

In his house, of all places.
