In other words, this kind of positioning is very simple, but compared with GPS, it is two-way and requires a ground workstation. GPS can solve it by itself as long as there is a satellite overhead to provide time information without external help.

Qin Guan shook his head: "this positioning accuracy is not high enough. Moreover, it also needs to transmit signals, which is not conducive to concealment. Moreover, it can only be regional navigation. Therefore, it is not suitable for our current needs."

The advantage of dual satellite navigation is that it can build a system for regional navigation and positioning in a short time at a lower cost.

However, compared with the real global positioning system, it has many defects. Synchronous satellite orbit is destined to be unable to navigate high latitude targets and the other side of the earth. It is destined to be a regional navigation and positioning system.

The progress is not high enough, that is, it is about 10 meters. You know, the positioning accuracy of the GPS signal reaches the meter level. The bomb using this navigation says that if it flies from the left window, it will never go in from the right window. It is quite sci-fi.

The biggest disadvantage is that it has to transmit signals. In the military, once it transmits signals, it means its own exposure. For the accuracy of navigation, the most critical is the time signal. This time signal can only be provided by the most accurate atomic clock. Its accuracy can reach 1 second every 20 million years, and the error is thousands of miles. The more accurate the time is, the higher the positioning accuracy is.

Why did you go to Europe to cooperate? It is because western countries monopolize the technology of spaceborne atomic clock and implement the policy of blockade and embargo on China. Without this technology, navigation is impossible.

Later, through self-reliance and hard work, China finally succeeded in mastering key technologies and even successfully anti surpassing in some aspects. When the 17th beidou-3 networking satellite was launched, it was the satellite with the strongest function, the most signals, the largest carrying capacity and the longest service life in beidou-3 system. Moreover, the satellite is equipped with a leading generation of rubidium atomic clock, making the satellite the time reference satellite of the whole Beidou system, and its positioning accuracy has been improved by one to two times.
