Supreme Origin: Time King

Chapter 130: XIX: Invasion

At this moment billions of people were watching the tournament in all the six regions of Peuh Star.

In a military camp outside Polaris, a group of people were guarding a weird looking monolith, but they were distracted at that time as they were watching Elijah's fight.

"Wow, that boy is really good. He can fight with so many strong people without even using that scary energy from before."

"Yeah, when we saw him for the first time, I would have never imagined that he would be this strong."

Boom! A loud explosion echoed outside the tent, The soldiers quickly rushed out the tent only to see hundreds of creatures with red eyes bursting from a black vortex that formed bellow the monolith they were supposed to be protecting.

The same thing happened all around Peuh, millions of those creatures invaded the villages, farms and other structures as they approached the main cities.

On the mirrored plane, the four counselors received a call and their faces suddenly turned gloomy.

The other elders on the platform noticed the changes in their expressions and quickly asked what happened.

Looking at each other, the counselors showed bitter smiles as they said.

"We are being invaded, the cyber network is not working outside Peuh, millions of creatures in each region surged from underground and are destroying everything they see. The F and E regions were completely destroyed with zero survivors." Those words were said in low voice but many of the common people had managed to hear something and despaired.

"What about the Immortals, we have many they could finish the creatures..."

"No they can't, our saint ground had been invaded too they are taking care of it. First we have been told to evacuate the common people outside the citadel to the mirrored plane as the cultivators were in charge of fighting the creatures."

"Okay, but we must inform the people here first." Kiara the red counselor walked to the front: "Everyone, please! give me your attention. The tournament will have to stop for the moment, Peuh is being invaded two regions were lost and the Immortals are occupied with other places. We need to take the civilians to this place but we have few people and we will have to work together if we want to escape this calamity. I will not force anyone but we need as many volunteers as possible."

For the people there many had rich families and grand backgrounds in Peuh or in other worlds, at this time many pretended to have heard nothing and stayed silent.

However, Elijah, the lizard girl Thunia, Matti and the spirit cultivator Elijah fought in his first match all steeped forward.

"We will help!" They looked at each other and said in unison as they knew what the other was thinking.

No matter how brave or good you think you are, only when you face with the thought of running and still deciding to help despite your fear that you can be considered to have real bravery.

Elijah really had the thought of escaping, but after carefully thinking about what he should do, he decided he had to help. A brown-haired figure rushed from the crowd and stepped by Elijah's side.

Kiara searched around and noticed that the suspicious humanoid figure had disappeared she snorted, sure that he had something to do with this invasion.

"You five, follow me." the female counselor said to the five of them before heading towards the exit.

Just as they leaved the mirrored plane, they noticed with numerous cultivators activating a runic formation that surrounded the Citadel.

Outside the formation, countless black clouds flew toward the Citadel. Upon closer look, Elijah's expression grew grave as he realized that each of these clouds had thousands of creatures.

"Prime Beast..." Elijah murmured to himself but Kiara on the other side seemed to had heard what he said.

"What did you said?" Seeing others looking at him with inquisitive eyes, he explained.

"Those creatures they are prime beasts. They appear every time one of the Prime King's tombs is open. As for the other creatures with red eyes, I haven't seen one yet so I cannot say for sure."

Kiara took a closer look. "They will arrive in less than one minute, there is something more you know about them? Like they weakness or how to fight them?"

"Yes, I don't know about other elements, but the ones I fought had weakness to lightning. Light Element could be useful too."

.....

At the primeval lake, the three Immortal Lord were holding their Immortal Armaments as they observed their enemies.

The Draconian Immortal Lord, with the strongest body and defense he engaged with close combat against five figures with powers comparable to Great Immortals and heavily injured two of them.

"Who are those people? To have the audacity to attack one of the largest worlds under the jurisdiction of the Mortal Alliance." A thin man, wearing a dark grey suit grunted at the other five figures facing him.

"We are the ones to bring order across the cosmos!"

Intense dark energy covered the surface of the lake from where a large black vortex surged and a strange pressure invaded the weaker Immortals, leaving them vulnerable.

"Good, it is open. Brothers let's go, we have distracted the Immortals long enough." One of them said as he shot black ray that penetrated one of the Immortals before feeling that something was wrong.

It was at this moment he realized that even if they were many, in the end the Immortal Lords were still Immortal Lords. A small golden-haired female locked her gaze at the invaders, thirteen golden stars surged behind her back that slowly transformed into thirteen golden crows than flew past the lake burning each of them into golden ashes. Just the heat emanated from the golden crows was something many would not endure.

"Looks like I underestimated you Immortals. But the door had been open and none of you can stop this."
