Supreme Origin: Time King

After a few hours, a huge city could be seen by Elijah and the others.

The broad stone walls surrounded the city, and in the center of the city a great tower rose and stretched out to the clouds. Any human before this tower seemed as small as an ant in comparison. On the tower, there was the symbol of the Kouzia Empire, a great sword, which was silver with golden lines, in a flag that fluttered in the breeze, showing the elegant behavior of the formidable empire.

A drawbridge bridge led them to the 30 m wide gate around Riverfrost City, connecting to four gigantic armored statues standing by the gate, which was carved from ink-black stone. The excitement of people inside and outside the city was endless, and although they had not yet entered the city, they could already feel the bustling and thriving scene inside.

In terms of structure, Yggdrasil was much more advanced but as it was part of Valhalla Academy, it didn't have so many people as Riverfrost City. Stopping at the gate, Ava asked: "Now that we are here, where we need to go?"

These knights were clearly soldiers who had been forged in the flames of war, Elijah had saw those type of knights before, although they weren't cultivators, they had a extremely powerful body and great combat experience. Entering the tower, the main hall was composed of 12 platforms where they saw hundreds of people walking to one of those 12 and then they disappeared..

'What is it? It looks like some sort of teleportation platform used to send people to the other floors.' Elijah was surprised as thought to himself. Looking more closely, Looking more closely, Zaid saw numbers on each platform from 1 to 12, but the strange thing was that no one would enter the platforms from the fifth platform.

Elijah saw the same thing then he walked to the crowd and asked to one of the people nearby who was a middle-aged with black hair and a slightly yellow skin. "Excuse me, sir, why i don't see anyone entering the other platforms?"

"Oh, young man, you don't know? We are in the Tower of Origin, this tower here is older than every empire of the present days or at least it's what the legend says.

A legend says about a tower which was created together with the universe and it was divided into 12 floors, will appear every hundred years but until now no one was capable of reaching the higher floors as it requires a cultivation equivalent to the floor you want to enter, but if this was true how could there be twelve floors as there is only nine realms? And you are really a lucky boy as the hundred years period is nearly at the end and will appear in a hundred years later in another place."

Although Elijah was really intrigued by this legend, but he did not think it was true, because if the legend is real, then how could the Gods let mortals into it? They would probably monopolize to themselves.

So after staying in the tower for a while, they decided to head towards the store, as they leaved the tower of origin, Elijah looked back and for a second he felt a extreme calling coming from deep within his soul before he shook his head and followed his friends.
