SUPREME VISION SYSTEM

Chapter 67 - FALLING ONTO IT'S PLACE!

Unknown to Cole, who had no idea what he had himself signed in for, slept calmly under the comforts of his warm blanket when the artificial intelligence that was then auto controlling the system started medalling with all the tasks that had been programmed in it from before.

So the artificial intelligence took over the system supervision and then it went off with the very first ten listed tasks that were programmed to be done.

'SENDING SIGNAL DEEP SPACE!'

'ADAPTING SYSTEM SIGNAL PROCESS!'

'STARTUP FOR RESEARCH ON EARTH INITIATED!'

'SYSTEM INFORMATION STORAGE STABILISED WITH HOST'S BRAIN!'

'SYSTEM UPDATE PROCESSING.....'

'SYSTEM UPDATE ONGOING!'

'SYSTEM UPDATE PROCESSED!'

With that, the artificial intelligence went to its hibernation mode. The black dot on Cole's forehead disappeared.

His body stopped emitting rainbow lights all around the room. His transparent closed eyelids returned to their usual state and the lenses were not anymore visible from through the eyelids.

Everything went back as if nothing happened in the room. Cole turned over his sleep, dreaming of a bright future with no idea what he had in it for him.

'HOST BODY RECOGNISED!'

'HOST BODY CONNECTED!'

'HOST BODY DENIED CONTROL!'

'HOST BODY DENIED CONTROL!'

'HOST BODY DENIED CONTROL!'

Cole's body is illuminated in the dim lighting of the room. The Artificial Intelligence auto controlling the functioning of the lenses denied Cole's body to be under control.

His body tried to set in but the Artificial Intelligence denied it repeatedly. It was because Cole's body being the host of the system, he first had to earn to be in control of the entire system until then it would be the Artificial Intelligence that would keep auto controlling the entire system.

The system needed a unique code that probably the developer of the lenses had it which could give direct control grant into the system but Cole did not know about it neither he was aware of the fact.

'HOST BODY DENIED CONTROL!'

A black dot appeared on the middle of his forehead. It was the Artificial Intelligence taking control then since Cole's body was denied access to be in control.

'SYSTEM GRANT ACCEPTED!'

The artificial intelligence got quick access to the system and it started doing everything that it was programmed for.

The bionic lenses were both intelligent device which was made for extracting information, carrying out research about the dark cosmos, sending signals to the extraterrestrials off the planet earth in the meantime, it also possessed the defense explosive modes.

It could make use of the different waves ranging from optical, electromagnetic, magnetic, X -rays, microwaves, radio waves, ultraviolet waves, infrared, gamma rays, etc and use them to create explosives on their own.

It was a product formed after more than fifty years of research on waves and interlocking everything into a mini lense.

The United States Government invested it with the partnership from different global associates to send and collect deep space knowledge.

With the advancement of technology in the past ten years, it was possible to go into more and extract too much more out of it.

But they were also aware of the fact that if they messed with the deep space cosmology, they needed to be ready to defend themselves from the extraterrestrials being that could be much more advanced them and hence the lense was made into as one of the topmost defense subjects of the Earth.

The Vision Institue was an unknown secret research institute that carried on with the process of making the world's most deadly and multipurpose bionic lense and creating an inbuilt system inside of it.

The brave man who would be let to have the lense would have his body engaged and connected to the system.

He would use the abilities, functioning, and all other phenomena of the system and grow with it. That man would one day when he would master all the skill of the system as he would level up, would become the superhero that would protect the earth, ...humankind and at the same time leading it everywhere making the entire human race going forward.

The next morning, Cole got up as usual and he was happy to see normal through his eyes again.

He stretched his body, standing up from the bed, and started getting ready for school. He told himself that he would not deal with the past anymore and look forward just like his mother always asked him to.

The universe had given him another chance to start normal and be content instead of dying out expecting how the dark future would consume him and he would have no peace.

He still could recall what happened and even till this time could not believe that the woman just landed him these lenses so easily. That was sure a fate by the chance thing.

Earlier he was afraid that something might go wrong with its usage or later in the night, the lenses might stop functioning and its temporary blindness would return anytime but nothing as it happened.

He was glad and packed his duffle bag before climbing down the stairs. He checked his face, mainly his eyes in the mirror in the living room.

He could not see the lens in it. Cole thought maybe the bionic lenses were like that but what he did not know was that at that time the system was updating so it was turned off.

The artificial intelligence in it had gone under hibernation mode at that time and it would remain in the hibernation mode till the update was not over.

Cole was amazed at how nobody would be able to tell how that he had a lens put inside his eyes but no one would not be about to even see it. They might even think he had gotten a Lasik surgery or something.

He was just so happy that he did not notice when his mother and Mr. Evans stood by the edge of the living room, looking at him strangely who was staring at his reflection in the mirror so happily and enthusiastically.

"What..what exactly is going on?"

Ivory broke his stance as he turned to look around and immediately got embarrassed that his mother and Mr. Evans saw him crazily examining his face in the mirror and smiling like some nut case.

"Noth...nothing mom. I..was just checking a mole."

Cole stuttered and eyed his mother and Mr. Evans who were eyeing him too for a brief second then not saying anything, trying to process what he just spoke out.

Ivory nodded her head and said, "Eat your breakfast and Mr. Evans would drop you at school."

And to the utmost surprise, Cole shook his head in approval and headed towards the dining hall to grab his breakfast.

Ivory shared a look with Rafael thinking why he did not protest with the ride thing which they expected he would do like he did the other time. They surely did not think that he would accept it right away at least.

"Mom. I m done and I m getting late too. Mr. Evans common we got to go."

Cole yelled out from the dining room, walking out with the Sandwich in his hand shocking his mother and Rafael at the same time.

They just did not know what was going on but suddenly their stubborn teenage young man seemed to be just ...happy in direct words that he did not want to be bothered by all the usual things that he protested about before and ruin his mood.

"What is up with him?"

Ivory questioned to herself as she eyed her son getting inside Mr. Evans's car quietly after waving his mother goodbye.

"He.he just seems happy."

Rafael answered as he too saw how the brood, egoistic guy who denied to go out with him was now getting inside his car willingly.

What actually was going on? What happened to her son?

Ivory could not help herself as those questions evolved inside her head on their own. She never saw Cole be so carefree and relaxing.

Maybe..maybe he was finally coming to terms with his present and trying to be happy with what he had and follow the path of never-ending hope.

In the end, she was just glad to see her son like that. It had been ages since she ever saw him smile or be carefree like that. It felt like his kid soul was back inside the frame of his body. She was content for the very first time after this long.

"I think I should just go and not make him wait anymore. Don't want him to be pissed at me again."

Rafael spoke out as he started walking towards the car after hugging Ivory. She stood ideal on the patio as she behold the SUV driving away from the front yard.

Cole waved at her like a silly kid and she could not be happier to wave back at him.

For God's sake, everything was finally falling onto its place.
