Surrogate Love

Whenever the woman who was lying in front of him frowned, he would feel undescribeable pain on his c.h.e.s.t. He clearly remembered seeing her resistance when she was tied into the chair. She screamed to her lungs when the timed-bomb was stuck onto her c.h.e.s.t. He could feel that her throat had to be in so much pain. When she finally lost her energy with her scattered hair falling loosely, he stopped himself from going to her.

He felt suffocated when she mentioned of facing him. His heart almost stopped beating when he saw her smiled helplessly, worrying his men well-being, before shedding tears silently.

It wasn't without reason that he had made her suffer so much. To others, he would tell them that it was a test to know her loyalty. Under that reason, there was a preparation for her as she would have the highest possibility to be abducted as a hostage by his enemy. In a deeper layer, he wanted to know the truth.

He brushed off the hair that covered her face. She had been unconscious for two days though she had recovered from the fever.

He had been staying there since she was brought to the his bedroom. No food. No sleep.

"Master", Mo Jiu whispered to him "It's urgent."

For Mo Jiu who had been sensible, but came to look for him. Mo Yan understood that it was a matter that he had to attend no matter what. Therefore, he instructed a nanny to take care of Long Fei before he left.

It was not until midnight that he came back. He immediately went to the bedroom to check on the woman. When he was closer to the room, he could hear the pleading sound "Ms Long, you have to eat some food. You have been unconscious for two days"

He quickened his steps. Though he was worry, his face was still as cold as ice berg "What's the matter ?"

"Master,you are back.",the nanny was startled. "Ms Long has woken up for about two hours, but she didn't react."

He took a seat on the bedside, then he brushed her cheek. Her tone was more gentle "You have woken up. You have to eat a little. You have been unconscious for two days."

Hearing the voice of the man, Long Fei turned to the side and met his gaze. Thinking of the man that warning her through fear made her scared. She flinched from his touch.

"You are afraid of me", the man sounded unpleased.

She shook her head rapidly, but her action was proof of her fear.

"Bring the food over.", the man instructed.

Long Fei didn't dare to say no. She ate spoon by spoon that the man had feed her. It was for awhile before she felt full.

"I'm full.", she muttered.

Mo Yan didn't force her as well. He gave the bowl to the nanny before he took a glass of water and served it to Long Fei. After making sure that she was alright, he went to take a bath.

Usually, he would take a bath before meeting her. It was because he often smelled bloody. However, looking at her resistance to eat, he couldn't do nothing. Thus, it was an exception. It was just he had forgotten, the bloody smell of his body scared the woman even more.

When he came out of the shower, he saw that the woman's back facing him. She curled like a shrimp, making her look so pity. He walked toward her and laid on her side.

Long Fei turned her body and welcomed with his sturdy body "Why?"

"This is my room"

"Oh..", she got up, planning to go back to her room

Alas, she was pulled by the wrist and landed into the warm embrace. The man locked her so that she couldn't move. "You only need to remember that no matter what, you have to stay silent."

She raised her head and met his gaze. They looked at each other for a long time as if they were communicating through the stare. It was after a long time that Mo Yan leaned closer and kissed her gently. "You only have to stay silent like what you did. Everything will be fine."

Long Fei strecthed her arm and hugged him back. She silently muttered "Mo Yan, from now on, I won't be involved in any of your meeting."

It was for the sake of everyone and Mo Yan respected her decision.

"As long as you stay by my side"
