63 Your First Love Has Been Ruined (1/2)

Someone suddenly walked in, asking them what they were doing, and Fangzhou’s action of wiping away tears came to a halt. He looked up and saw Xiao Si Si standing in the hospital room, staring straight at him with eyes that seemed to be about to burst into flames.

Fangzhou quickly retracted his hand, taking the tissue used to wipe away tears with it.

What’s going on? Why do I feel like I’ve been caught cheating?

No, he and Xiao Si Si no longer have a relationship, and Zhang Zhining is his friend. Why is he getting anxious?

“What, we’re not doing anything.”

The man tried to explain, but the words came out weak and powerless, like a feeling of being at a loss.

Xiao Si Si’s gaze also became unclear, her thin lips pursed tightly, revealing her bad mood.

Her aura was even colder, like the cold winter wind in February.

As soon as he opened his mouth, Fangzhou hated his own stuttering tongue.

Why does he stutter when he talks?

He couldn’t help it. Xiao Si Si’s gaze was too terrifying, making him feel like he was being caught cheating in a hotel room.

Just as Fangzhou was lamenting his stuttering, Zhang Zhining quickly lowered her head and wiped away her tears with her hand.

She managed to control her expression in a few seconds and turned back to look at the unexpected guest.

She held a cup of fruit tea in her hand, with a pink streaked hair and a simple but high-end outfit, carrying an ancient Chengdu bag, exuding understated luxury.

Her head and shoulders were perfect, and her small face was as white as snow, making her look like she was born for the big screen.

In that instant, Zhang Zhining felt her whole body freeze, and a voice echoed in her heart: it’s her, Xiao Si Si.

Xiao Si Si also saw the woman sitting on the bed.

She was very beautiful, with a refined atmosphere, delicate features, and a faint sense of concern in her eyes, as if she were born with a broken heart.

Her red eyes looked like a flower that had been trampled, making people involuntarily feel sorry for her.

If they were to be together, Xiao Si Si thought that this person’s aura might be comparable to hers.

She had just seen this person.

This was the new guest who had just arrived, the general manager who had been delayed for a long time and finally brought out to meet everyone, Zhang Zhining.

Originally, Xiao Si Si didn’t pay much attention to this person, thinking it was just a routine operation to attract more viewers for the idol program.

From noble mtl dot come

I never expected her to appear in Fangzhou’s hospital room, and the two of them behaved ambiguously. It was unclear whether they were wiping away tears or doing something else, which was certainly thought-provoking.

When their eyes met, an invisible spark ignited between them for a moment, only to be extinguished by the simultaneous smiles that appeared on their faces.

“You’re here too.”

Zhang Zhiyin lifted a smile, showing no trace of the sorrowful tears she had just shed.

Regardless of whether the other’s smile was genuine or feigned, one does not slap a smiling face.

Qiao Sisi would not direct her anger at a woman she had just met.

Even though her mind exploded with rage when she saw Fangzhou wiping someone else’s tears, wishing she could burst in and commit murder.

The blame should be placed on Fangzhou, the indiscriminate nice guy, who would likely offer a tissue to any woman crying before him.

Qiao Sisi, with her background as a professional actress, displayed a more genuine smile.

She smiled at Zhang Zhiyin and softly replied, “Yes, I came to see Fangzhou, but it seems I’ve come at an inopportune time.”

“It’s unbelievable that Fangzhou knows the famous female author. Truly inconceivable.”

Qiao Sisi’s words were loaded with meaning as she turned to look at Fangzhou, her gaze instantly shifting, projecting a chilling aura of menace.

Fangzhou felt a cold shiver down his neck, and her sarcastic tone made his skin crawl.

63 Your First Love Was Scared Away by Me (2/2)

Why does Qiao Sisi seem so angry?

From Fangzhou’s understanding of Qiao Sisi, her tone was definitely one of anger.

He opened his mouth to explain, but someone beat him to it.

“I’ve known Fangzhou for over a decade. I didn’t expect him to be on this show. Hearing he was poisoned, I came to check on him.”

Zhang Zhiyin explained with a smile, yet not fully explaining.

She mentioned the reason for her presence, but deliberately omitted what the two of them were doing just before.

Her excuse was impeccable, leaving Qiao Sisi raising an eyebrow in suspicion, “Oh? You’ve known each other for so long? How come I’ve never heard Fangzhou mention you?”

Qiao Sisi’s statement was cryptic.

On one hand, how could she, who was not close to Fangzhou in public, have the chance to hear him talk about his friends?

It only implied that she and Fangzhou had a deep private relationship.

On the other hand, she was hinting to Zhang Zhiyin that he never mentioned you in front of friends, probably because he doesn’t consider you important.

Unfortunately for Qiao Sisi, her calculations were off.

Back when she was dating Fangzhou, she hadn’t had the chance to meet Zhang Zhiyin before that incident occurred.

Fangzhou would certainly not bring up a female friend who liked him in front of his girlfriend.

Not only would it make the already delicate and pretentious Qiao Sisi jealous, but it would also be disrespectful to Zhang Zhiyin, almost like flaunting his admirer.

“Zhiyin has been abroad for years and seldom returns.”

Fang Zhou spoke succinctly, offering an explanation but not delving into the reasons.

It was a matter between the two of them, and Qiao Sisi was actually one of the main characters in that incident from years ago; it was better for her not to know the details.

Zhang Zhiyin, ever so astute, didn’t take Qiao Sisi’s provocation to heart.

Over the years, it was she who chose not to contact Fang Zhou, Qiao Sisi had mistaken the cause and effect.

“Isn’t it just that knowing he was here, I couldn’t help but come immediately?”

Zhang Zhiyin chuckled, finally stood up, and tossed the wilted lily in her hand into the trash bin.

Her relaxed demeanor, like that of a ward’s mistress, instantly made Qiao Sisi feel a mix of irritation and a touch of grievance.

She had found a quiet moment to visit Fang Zhou, only to be greeted by such a scene.

A mist of confusion rose in Qiao Sisi’s eyes, darkness and distortion churning within, ready to spill out at any moment.

She felt like an outsider, unwelcome here.

After all, the others were friends of over a decade, a relationship longer than her own acquaintance with Fang Zhou.

“So that’s how it is. I won’t disturb you two then, I’ll be leaving.”

Qiao Sisi’s smile faded as she placed the fruit tea on the table and hurriedly left the ward.

Fang Zhou, puzzled, called out to her loudly.

“Hey, don’t leave so fast!”

You’re not supposed to drink this fruit tea now!

Unfortunately, Qiao Sisi’s pace didn’t slow, leaving behind only the closed door.

Zhang Zhiyin turned to look at him, delivering a fatal blow.

“Your first love was chased away by me, aren’t you going to pursue her?”
