Swarming The Gods

I awoke yet again, and the sight before me was well astonishing the initially small zerglings were now as big as the wolf that nearly killed me, and surprisingly I am not dead.

As I tried to get my bearings, I find myself on top of one of the said zerglings, a black one with grey stripes.

It seemed to have changed its back to being able to accommodate me like a portable bed and throne in one, and the even stranger thing was we were in a cave of some sort.

The number of corpses that were in front of me was not small and even better I felt as if I was even stronger than before as I ċȧrėssed the zergling that purred while acting as my mount I said in my mind "Menu" and that cliche screen appears but with some rather good upgrades.

Hmm, well looks like some of my skills gotten stronger, so let us check what they can really do.

Separate, infest, and grow: currently allows the user to use a piece of their flesh or blood to merge with flesh or blood around the summon, giving the summoner a portion of their strength permanently. Upon summoning, the created creature will have a temporary boost of 3x for 14 days, the summoner; however, will receive a decrease in all stats by half for 14 days. Creatures that can be summoned Drones, Zerglings

My reaction was noice!!! Despite the power down, I'd say a good ability in the long run when I have like thousands of them or more. now for the next one

uhhh..... o....kay....? damn another skill that will be handy in this world but the all aspects does this mean to be a good thing or a bad thing cause I don't want a huge pain in the ȧss coming after me or anything like that and to be a natural lure, just great, looks like I must get stronger and fast.

*growl*

as if to sense my uneasiness the large zergling I was on let out a growl as it was looking for what may have caused my unease, so I pat it to help it calm down then proceeded to check my other skills

Natural armor: provides 2.5 times more defense and resistance against all attacks.

I gulped at the potential of this armor.

As I apologized in my mind for talking shit about it before, this might actually be a very frightening skill!

If I grind it enough thinking about how this skill was, I was rather excited and hesitant to check the last one; thus, I took a deep breath and opened the information on this one.

And upon seeing it, this ability is scarier than the rest!

Bone weapons: currently provides 14 times the cutting ability and piercing ability as well as durability as cultivation rank, enchant-able, detachable, able to make the whole body a weapon.

So if I wanted to make a quick profit, I could sell some of my bone weapons and armor that I remove or create, nice, very nice. This also gives me an idea of what if I made a zergling into a sword or armor and had the people in this world kill other monsters as well as create more zerglings or other summons through them...

Alright, I decided to get stronger first then I will build myself a "blacksmith shop" I like it...

I laughed out loud, thinking of ways to manipulate and abuse my skill!

--meanwhile with the other zerglings--

The other three zerglings were doing separate things.

In contrast, the reddish one removed an orb-like item from some of the corpses and set them aside.

At the same time, the largest of the group that ate the wolf that harmed their queen in anger acted as the watch as it stared outside of the cave as things were quiet their queen awakened and started to laugh in a rather peculiar way...

KUKUKU.....hehehe..... MWAHAHAHAHA!

As it echoed through the cave one of the zerglings using their unique language asked...

"hey do you think the queen is alright?" asked the yellowish zergling through clicking and growling.

"shush as long as she is happy, I wouldn't care if she went crazy," replied the reddish one while sporting a horrifying grin.

The larger one that was acting as the watch snorted while it was worried about their queen. It had to finish its shift to serving as a guard before moving as their mount as it was the first one to respond and carry the queen to the cave and provide her nourishment by fusing with her and sharing their everything with her.

Thus her sudden increase in power, yet she slept for 11 days.

The large one let out a human-like sigh as the darkness filled the skies, and now it was time to switch...

I got down from my mount, and upon doing so, the zergling left me. A larger one came to me... it looked very familiar.... ah, it was that one that I ȧssumed was going to kill me this one was 3x bigger than the one that just left it approached as it purred soothingly then knelt as if asking me the lay on it's back that was filled with spikes and blades, that now changed into a bed /throne, so I climbed up. Upon doing so, these tube-like tendrils came out and connected to my arms, legs, and back...

Upon connecting to, you know what, I will call it Blivet my spear against my enemies...

Upon considering that a strange thing happened, the zergling no Blivet changed into a darker red, and I could feel that its strength was many times greater than before...

Ah, I unconsciously made Blivet my elite my very first one...

As I was in a daze, a dignified and soothing voice of a man spoke while it wasn't English or any natural tongue it was strangely understandable, maybe the zerg's personal language?.

"thank you, my queen, it brings me great honor for being your first Knight."

Blivet thanked me in clicks mixed with growls...

while I was somewhat speechless(okay I lied I was beyond that so bite me) from the sudden pattern here was it a good thing or a bad thing?

I, lack for a better word, was stoked while we were still connected, my first knight felt my emotions. Especially my rising joy from getting a more robust soldier.

however, as this happened, a surge enveloped my being. as I thought something breakthrough in my confusion as memories that seem embedded into my mind came bursting through, I called out "Menu."

OMG!!! Five f*cking stages in one go holy shietsaaaa. Now a strange thing was added to my skill I'm guessing the number of subordinates that I can have since it is limiting me possibly by the level of the expertise yet again hmm 4 points for naming one alright I guess I'll name the other one that acted as my mount as well...

"blivet call the black zergling here for a bit" as I said, this Blivet seemed to droop down as if saddened to leave me, so I reassured him.

"don't worry, Blivet. I just want to thank it as well; then you can come back, alright?" I was ċȧrėssing Blivet's back that made him stand up and let out a Howl, and moments later, the black one came.

well I was hoping that he would leave, but oh well, I shrugged at the mischief my new knight was doing, but I reached out towards the black zergling and said

"you shall be known as Lunar due to your stripes being like a crescent moon in the night's sky."

Upon saying those words, a burst of darkness emerged from lunar the named being stood up on its hind feet, and the bodily features became more feminine like a humanoid zerg was being born.

The even crazier thing was I felt two different things at once empowering and draining; however, the latter was winning.

The pain that enveloped me yet again was from my body structure changing from expanding and shrinking while I knew that it was a good thing. I still hate f*cking pain.

I grit my teeth but, it only did so much.

So as the pain grew, I was forced to wail, roar, scream. Whichever you want to call it, however, it was something that I hated knowing that I was weak right now, so I tried something I got from the memories I received from breaking through earlier, which was how to absorb the energy from my surroundings.

Hence, I inhaled greatly, and it stopped the pain, and Blivet was growing stronger as well.

As I was about to celebrate, a loud explosion was heard, followed by a burst of bellowing laughter.

"HAHAHAHAHA to think that we would find such a rare beast here, Hey Fen guan do you think the boss will reward us for bringing these beasts? I mean, look at it after receiving my field burning slash. It is recovering quite quickly despite being so weak!!!"(???)

As he was bearing a large sword saying this, my two zerglings were hurt rather badly despite the regeneration and defense they had struggling to get up the defend our territory to the bitter end

"Fen tian I suggest just killing these beasts and be over with it, the clan master wants everything to be clear for the upcoming ȧssignment, so hurry the hell up" fen guan replied

"Tsk, no fun as always well whatever, well beasts too bad for you, looks like you have to die"

Fury filled my mind, so I charged at the man named fen guan, however, despite my action, he blocked my attack with his sword as the sound *CLANG* resounded throughout the came, however, in my rage I Stated.

"YOU WILL DO NO SUCH THING!!!"

Despite this, the two men had lecherous looks on their faces upon seeing me; however, my next words and actions surprised them.

"Thane, Bane, destroy our enemies!!!"

As my cold tone echoed about two more power surges emerged as my two recently fallen minions changed the yellow one grew a few more meters as it's body looked like it was meant for battle.

One word came to mind an Ultralisk, and if that wasn't frightening enough, the red one turned in to something like a cross between a swarm host and an infestor...

My Thane (the ultralisk) charged towards fen guan and slammed the man into the wall as it repeated hit where he was until a wail of despair was heard followed by a splat.

As for Bane (the hybrid), the guy simply burrowed underground and sent tens of those infested Terrans that actually attacked until fen tian's long sword hit them.

They would then explode, which only happened once and the man was sent flying into the wall covered in blood as his left arm was blasted off the man began to wail in pain fen tian began to try and threaten me.

"You bitch, if you kill me, my uncle, from the burning heavens sect, will hunt you down!!! unless you heal me and cut off your arms and surrender your pets, I might decide to let you live as my pla-"

My minion bane while I feel proud at the same time somewhat sad as the man may have been able to provide information sadly after hearing the nonsense spouted by the man he sent all of his little ones towards the fool and made them all explode leaving nothing left....
