"I am not hiding anything. I don't want to go out with him." Martha snapped before walking away from her room

"Martha —" Before Nick could say anything, Martha left the room

"What happen Nick? Why is Martha so angry?" Ava asked while entering the room

"I don't know what happen to Martha. She is behaving odd." Nick helplessly shook his head and said

"Odd? What did she do?" Ava asked

"I asked her to go out with Kevin but she is refusing." Nick sighed and said

"What? Why did you ask her? How can she go out with a stranger?" Ava frowned and asked

"Now, why are you behaving oddly? I didn't ask her to date him, I just want Ava to try things. I want her to stay in a stable relationship. If things don't work out between Kevin and Ava, I won't force them." Nick sighed and said

"Nick, if Ava doesn't want to try things with Kevin, who are you to force? It's her life, let her make her own decisions." Ava cupped his cheeks and said

"Ava, are you hiding anything from me?" Nick asked

"N—No, why would I hide anything from you?" Ava asked

"I don't know. I have a feeling that there is something I couldn't understand but you do." Nick sighed and said

Pausing for a while, he asked "Am I being nosy in Martha's life?" 

"What? Where did this come from?" Ava frowned and asked

"I don't know. Martha never behaved like this. She never walked away in the middle of conversation. I—" 

Cutting him off, Ava sighed and said "Nick, don't you think you are overthinking. Martha is a mature girl. She wants to live her life freely instead of being caged in something. Maybe, she has her reasons for not going out with Kevin. Maybe, she likes someone."

"Ava, you are close to Martha, right? Why don't you talk to her? Can you please ask her why she isn't interested in dates?" Nick asked

Ava nodded her head and said, "I will talk to her."

'How can I say you that she is in a relationship with Noah? I can't confess it until Martha does.' Ava sighed and thought

Evening

4:00 Pm

Elsa frowned and opened her eyes when her phone buzzed.

"Seriously, who wants to disturb me?" Elsa frowned and asked before looking at the time 

"What? It's 4:00 Pm." Elsa widened her eyes in shock 

When she looked at the Calvin soundly sleeping beside her, she smiled. 

"I slept thinking about him." Elsa smiled and said stared at his handsome face. 

Life has became so perfect to her. Before few hours, she has everything but still she felt empty but now, when she got to know that her relationship with Calvin, she is more than happy. Now, she doesn't want anything except the love from Calvin. 

Her smile got widen when she received a call from her father. 

"Dad, it's been a long time." Elsa excitedly said as soon as she answered the call 

"Yeah honey, we missed you a lot." Albert Willams smiled and said 

"I missed you too dad." Elsa sighed and said 

"Why don't you visit us? It's been one month since you moved on but it is like one year for us." Albert helplessly shook his head and said 

"Dad, I have lots of work here." Elsa smiled and said 

"No, I want you to visit us this weekend," Albert said in a firm tone 

"Dad, how can I visit you this weekend? I am in country C." Elsa sighed and said 

"Okay then, visit us after your return. Wait, why don't you book tickets directly to San Francisco?" Albert asked. 

Elsa widened her eyes in shock and asked "Dad, what are you up to?" 

"I just want to see you, honey." Albert smiled and said 

"Dad, I will visit you both once I return to the USA," Elsa said

When Albert didn't say anything, Elsa sighed and said "Fine, I will visit you next weekend." 

"Are you sure?" Albert asked

"Yes dad, I will surely visit you." Elsa smiled and said

"Where is mom? What is she doing?" Elsa asked

"How are you, honey?" Stella Williams asked

"I am fine mom, how are you?" Elsa smiled and asked

"We are good. How is your boss?" Stella asked

"He is good. Mom, I want to say something to you." Elsa excitedly said

"Don't tell me you are having a thing with your boss." Stella sighed and said

"Mom—No, I will tell you everything once I reach home." Elsa smiled and said

"I could see you are very happy." Stella smiled and said

"Yes, mom. I am very happy." Elsa said

"Is it because of your handsome boss?" Stella asked

"You can say that." Elsa blushed and said

"Okay then, I will wait for your visit to talk about your boss," Stella said before hanging the call

"Your parents?" Calvin opened his eyes and asked

"Yeah, they want me to visit them next weekend." Elsa sighed and said

"So, Are you planning to go to San Francisco?" Calvin frowned and asked

"Yeah, I want one week leave." Elsa nodded her head and said

"One week? Why one week?" Calvin frowned and asked

"What? I Want to visit my parents." Elsa smiled and said

"I know you want to visit them but why one week? It will take just a few hours from New York to San Francisco. If you start early morning, you can reach by breakfast time, you can spend all the day and return by midnight." Calvin sighed and explained

Elsa helplessly shook her head and said " Seriously Cal? I don't want to say Hii and bye to them, I want to spend time with my parents."

"I can't afford to live without you for one week." Calvin pouted his lips and said

"Don't behave like a child." Elsa frowned and said

"But—" Calvin stopped saying when Elsa glared at him.

'Yes, Elsa's family is important but she can't leave me for the whole one week. How can I live without her? My life will become a mess. I have to do something.'
