Calvin's apartment

Nick was busy playing video games with his friends when Ava called him.

"My girlfriend is calling me. I will join you later." Nick smiled and said before answering the call

"Hey babe, did you missed me?" Nick asked

"I am missing you a lot honey." Ava seductively said

"Arghh, you can't do that." Nick groaned and said

"Do what?" Ava innocently asked

"Seducing your frustrated boyfriend over the phone." Nick pouted his lips and said

"It is easy to seduce you, Mr Jones." Ava chuckled and said

"You can do whatever you want over the phone but trust me if I say I will punish you over bed when I see you tomorrow," Nick said

"I will be waiting for the punishment." Ava chuckled and said

"Anyway, I want to visit San Francisco," Ava said

"Yeah babe, I will arrange a chopper for you. You can visit in early morning and come back by night." Nick said

"No, I want to take leave for one week." Ava pursed her lips and said

"One week? Babe, are you crazy? How can you leave me for one week?" Nick frowned and asked

"It's been months since I visited mom and dad." Ava sighed and said

"If you want to see them, why don't you call them over here? I can't leave you for a whole week." Nick said in a firm tone

"Ni—" 

"No honey, I will obey everything that you order but I can't leave you for one week. Do you think how difficult it will be for me to leave you?" Nick frowned and asked 

"But—" 

"Look, I won't listen to you in this matter," Nick said before hanging the call. 

"What happen, man?" Calvin asked when he looked at frowning nick 

"Ava wants to visit San Francisco." Nick helplessly shook his head and said 

"What?" Calvin frowned and asked 

"Yeah, she asked me for one week leave," Nick said 

"What did you told to her?" Noah asked 

"I told her that I will not let her leave me for one week. How can I live without her? We just made love yesterday and she wanted to stay with El leaving me all alone. I was okay with it but now I can't let her move away from me." Nick pouted his lips and complained 

"Yeah, that was bad." Calvin sighed and said 

"Wait, what did you say? You made love with Ava?" Calvin widened his eyes in shock and asked 

"Y—Yeah." Nick smiled and said 

"Oh god man, why didn't you shared this big news with us?" Noah frowned and asked 

"I forget to tell you." Nick sighed and said

"Anyway, congrats man." Calvin excitedly said 

"This is so bad. Ava and you took your relationship to next level but she is leaving you for one week." Noah chuckled and said

"It won't happen. I won't let her leave me." Nick frowned and said 

"Dude, we are talking about women. They will compromise you no matter what." Noah sighed and said 

"That's true. I too denied when Elsa asked for a leave but she convinced me." Calvin helplessly shook his head and said 

"I won't fall for any tricks," Nick said in a frim tone 

"Let's see." Noah chuckled and said 

"Hey, let's discuss about our reunion." Calvin clapped his hands and said 

"Yeah, it is in next month, right?" Noah asked 

"Yes, but we should bring a woman with us." Calvin sighed and said

"Noah and I already have a girlfriend. It was you who should worry about it." Nick chuckled and said

Noah widened his eyes in shock when he heard that. How can he bring Martha to that event?

"What happen, dude?" Nick asked when looked at Noah's shocked expression

"I have an important shoot on that day. Maybe, I can't attend the reunion." Noah sighed and said

"No way. You have to cancel the meeting and attend the reunion." Calvin frowned and said

"But—" 

No buts and ifs Noah. We attend a reunion last year after cancelling a big project. Now, it's your turn. Aren't you happy before? Why are you worrying now?" Nick scrunched his eyebrows and asked

"I—" Noah stopped saying when he understood he can't convince his best friends.

"Fine, I will come." Noah sighed and said

"That's great." 

'I need to talk to Martha about it.' Noah thought

Next day morning

Calvin's office

"Cal, I missed you a lot," Anna said before entering into his office

"But I didn't miss you." Calvin calmly said

Anna pouted her lips and about to say

something but stopped when Calvin gave her a white envelope. 

"What is this?" Anna asked while opening it

"You are transferred to another department." Calvin sighed and said

"What? How can you do this to me? " Anna frowned and asked

"Why are feeling bad Anna? You have impressed me a lot with your work, so I transferred you to the finance department which will give you a high salary too." Calvin smiled and said

"I don't want to go to that department." Anna snapped

"Who are you to say that?" Calvin shouted

Pausing for a while, he said "I am your big boss. I need to make decisions." 

"Cal—" Elsa stopped stepping into the office when she looked at Calvin's fierce expression. 

"Come in Elsa." Calvin smiled and said

"You are doing this because of her, right?" Anna snapped harder

"Didn't I said that I am a big boss? I have all the right to make decisions. Who the hell are you to question my decisions?" Calvin shouted

"If you don't want to take this promotion then you are free to take a resignation letter," Calvin said

"Cal—" 

"Decision is yours, Anna. Promotion letter or resignation letter." Calvin said

Anna frowned and looked at Elsa. She doesn't want to leave her current position. How can she seduce Calvin when she works in another department? The financial department in Calvin's office is on the ground floor and it will be difficult for her to meet Calvin. 

"What are you looking at? Do you want this offer or not?" Calvin shouted 

Thinking for quite some time, Anna sighed and said "I will accept this." 

She doesn't want to accept the offer but she can't take risks. Calvin can fire her without thinking twice and Anna can't take such risks.

"Good, you can go to your floor." Calvin smiled and said
