Tales Of The Love

"I want to listen to the truth." Nick sighed and said 

Calvin took a deep breath and said, "She is my Elsa, the one loved in my childhood."

"What did you say? Is she the same Elsa for whom you used to cry like a baby?" Nick asked 

"Yes," Calvin sighed and said 

Pausing for a while, he asked "Did you remember when I went to San Francisco for a meeting?"

"Yeah, the day before you and Elsa met in the airport?" Nick asked 

"Yeah," Calvin said 

"I saw Albert Williams, Elsa's father in a café. I was so excited and happy that I can finally see the woman I loved but I was scared." Calvin sighed and said 

"I thought she won't come into my life and started flirting with different woman. What if she judges me? What if she rejects me? The thought of rejected by Elsa started killing me inside. So, I decided to develop a friendship with Elsa and then approach her slowly. I purposely asked Anna to book flight tickets in normal class so that I could meet and talk to Elsa but who would have thought the woman I loved hates me from the moment I meet her." Calvin muttered 

"Wait, you asked me to convince her to stay here so that you can count on her?" Nick asked 

"Yes, how can I count on her when she leaves this place?" Calvin frowned and said 

"You asked Ava to come to my place so that you spend some time with her?" Nick asked 

"Yes, I want to develop a friendship with her. How is it possible when Ava is around?" Calvin asked  

"I know you were hiding something but I never expected this. Oh my god, Calvin Lewis finally found his childhood sweetheart." Nick exclaimed 

Calvin smiled and said, "I too never expected that Elsa can still make my stomach churn like she used to do in childhood."

"Cal, why don't you tell this to Elsa? I am sure that she will accept you." Nick excitedly said 

"No Nick, she thinks that I am not a committed kind of person, I have to make her fall all over again. I don't want to rush things and make her hate me." Calvin sighed and said 

"Oh my god, is it true?" Nick asked while pinching his hand 

"Ahh, yeah it's true," Nick said when he felt pain 

"Don't you think you are overreacting?" Calvin frowned and asked 

"Am I overreacting? Hell yeah, I want to overreact." Nick sighed and said 

"Why the hell I have to sit silent when my best friend finally trying to count on a woman? The great Calvin Lewis finally trying to laid and why the fuck I am sitting here? I have to throw a grand party." Nick jumped in excitement 

"Nick, will you control your over-excited hormones and listen to me?" Calvin helplessly shook his head and asked 

"Yeah," Nick said 

"First thing, please control your mouth and don't split this secret to anyone, not even Ava." Calvin sighed and said 

"Fine, my mouth is sealed up to further notice." Nick placed his finger on his mouth and said 

"Good, now I don't want anyone to make a fuss about the matter that happened in the meeting room. I want everything to look normal and ask dad not to call me to recommend on behalf of that bastard Samuel." Calvin sighed and said 

"So, Mr Calvin got jealous when Samuel touched Elsa's hand?" Nick chuckled and said 

"Shut up, Elsa is mine and no one can touch her." Calvin frowned and said 

"Cal, June is calling—"

"I deleted and blocked her number." Calvin sighed and said 

When Nick chuckled, he said "What? Why the hell I will keep their numbers when I have my Elsa with me?"

"I am really happy for you man." Nick smiled and said

Elsa's cabin 

"Seriously? Brother just roasted Samuel?" Martha excitedly asked 

"Yes, do you know how that Samuel's face looked?" Ava asked 

Without waiting for their reply, she said "His face looked like a burning tart."

"I just feel pity on me that I couldn't witness legendary Calvin Lewis's roasting." Martha sighed and said 

"Yeah—"

Cutting Ava off, Elsa frowned and said "How can you both be so happy?"

"Why wouldn't we be happy when Cal roasted that arrogant, rich spoiled brat Samuel?" Ava chuckled and said 

Elsa clutched her hair and said "How can he just call MY WOMAN in front of everyone? What would they think of me? What if they think I really seduced Calvin?"

Elsa couldn't think straight from the moment she came out of the meeting room. She was genuinely thankful for Calvin for protecting her but that MY WOMAN word doesn't stopped ringing in her ears. It isn't like she is uncomfortable with that word, she felt it so right and was happy when he called her but a weird kind of sensation started generating in her system whenever she thinks about him. No matter how much she divert herself but handsome Calvin and MY WOMAN word isn't stopped invading her mind.

Martha helplessly shook her head and said "Look Elsa, I know this is weird because brother Calvin never calls any woman as my woman and everyone in the room know that Cal just fools around not a husband material. Trust me, Elsa, they never take his MY WOMAN comment seriously and I will ask brother Nick to take everything in control."

When Elsa didn't say anything, Ava sighed and said "Why are you worrying so much El? What if MY WOMAN word just slipped out of his mouth? I think you have to stop thinking and thank him for protecting and backing you."

"Are you sure he just called it out of impulse and anger he had towards Samuel?" Elsa asked 

"Yeah— Ava stopped saying when Calvin along with Nick entered the office 

"We will give some privacy for both of you." Ava smiled and said before walking outside along with Martha
