He then pulled her into his lap and said "You look beautiful when you blush. And why are feeling so shy? It's just me honey, and it's not like the first time, we already kissed in past."

Ava's already reddened face turned more red when he remembered her the passionate kiss they shared in the past together.

When Ava didn't say anything, he chuckled and asked "What? Did you forget about it?"

Inching closer, He said, "Do you want me to recreate it?"

'Oh my god, when did he became so shameless? Why the hell my cheeks are burning? How can I show him my reddened face? If he sees this red face, wouldn't he tease me again?'

"No, I remembered it." Ava slowly said 

Yes, How can she forget the time when she gave in without thinking of consequences? Though he hasn't properly confessed his feelings, she thought he loved her and gave in to his demands but who would have thought things will turn awkward from the next day? She proposed to him the very next day they shared their first kiss but to her surprise, it was JUST A KISS moment to him. 

Her world, dreams crashed from that day but she never ever regretted their first passionate kiss. To him, it may be a just kiss but for her, it was the best moment she lived with the man she loved. 

When the thoughts took her down to the memory lane which she never tried to remember, tears started flowing down her cheeks.

Nick frowned and panicked when she looked at the tears in her eyes. 

"Babe, What happen?" Nick asked before wiping her tears 

When Ava didn't say anything and clutched into his shirt, his heart became heavy.

"If you don't say what happens, how can I solve it, honey?" Nick asked again 

"See, if it is because of me, you can shout at me or beat me but don't cry, babe." Nick consoled her 

"Why did you do that Nick?" Ava asked 

Pausing for a while, She said "You know how difficult it is to me to act bold and aggressive in front of you. You know, how hard it is to keep my feelings aside and work with you. You know, how hard it is to keep things to me and act like everything is normal."

Looking at him, she asked, "You remembered about the damn kiss we shared but did you remember how you broke my heart and trust?"

"Ava—"

"You know, when you proposed to me on Aunt Mary and Uncle Arthur's anniversary, the first thing that came into my mind is trust. You tell me, Nick, you broke my heart. You said you are just fooling around and I am just an assistant to you, how can I trust you? How can I give you my everything knowing that you are the same man who broke my heart?" Ava asked 

Looking at him, she asked "What if you are just fooling around? What if you broke my heart again?"

"Babe—"

Cutting him off, Ava poured her heart out "I love you Nick and I really do but I have trust issues okay. I don't want to make myself a fool again. I don't want you to break my heart again. I don't want to hate you, Nick. I want to give you a second chance but What if you don't love me? What if this relationship won't work?"

Nick's eyes teared up when he looked at Ava who is crying because of him. He knew he acted like a dumbass in past but he wants to make up everything for his past. He wants to give everything that she deserved. He wanted to apologise but he has no idea from where should he start from? 

He then wiped her tears and said "Honey, I know I don't deserve you but trust me for one last, I love you and I am ready to make up everything for you. "

He held her hand and said "Yes, I broke your heart. Yes, I acted like dumb but babe, I realised my love for you the very moment you left me and no, it's not JUST A KISS moment for me, it meant a lot for me. You meant a lot to me. I regret each and everything that I did. It's my fault for not caring about your feelings. But I want to make things right. If you give me second chance, I will prove my love and also give you everything you deserve. I want you, Ava, I really need you. Please give me a chance honey."

Nick didn't care how vulnerable or bad he is looking. All he cared about his Ava. He didn't mind begging, pleading because he knew it was his mistake. He will do whatever she wants but all he wants is her love and support for the lifetime. 

With tears uncontrollably running from cheeks, Ava sobbed harder. She was feeling happy, sad, overwhelmed and many more which are difficult to explain.

Smacking his shoulder, she said, "Promise me that you won't leave me again."

"I promise," Nick said 

"I know you are stupid and dumbass but still I love you," Ava said before pouncing into his embrace.
