Ava frowned and asked, "Nick, how can you be such a shameless man?"

"What? I can be as much as shameless I can with you." Nick chuckled and said

"Shut up and don't even think of any kisses right now." Ava slammed his hand and said

"Why? If you haven't thought of coming here, I would get all my kisses." Nick pulled her into his arms and said

Ava's face turned red when she remembered their make-out session. Yes, Nick was correct. If phone call wouldn't have interrupted them they would have ended up being naked on the bed and probably make love with each other.

"Babe, what is that red thing on your face?" Nick kissed her cheek and asked

"Nick—" Ava frowned and looked around

"What if someone sees us?" Ava asked

"I don't care honey." Nick smiled and said

Pausing for a while, he asked "Didn't you asked about Uncle and dad's past?"

"Yeah, tell me what happen to them? Why they always fight like babies?" Ava asked

"Kiss me and get the answer." Nick shamelessly asked again

"Arghhh, why are you so shameless?" Ava frowned and asked

Looking around, she sighed and cupped his cheeks before kissing him all over his face.

"You didn't kiss on my lips, what mistake did they do? Why are you avoiding my lips which are carving for your attention?" Nick pouted his lips and said

"Seriously Nick? Fiver year kid is far better than you." Ava said before giving a peck on his lips

"Peck isn't—"

Cutting Nick off, Ava frowned and asked "Are you saying it or not?"

"Fine, I will say it now but you should kiss me after reaching the apartment." Nick smiled and said

"Fine." Ava rolled her eyes and said

He then sighed and said "Dad and Uncle Arthur are best friends since childhood. They both studied in the same school and college. They have one girl best friend, Julie. Dad and Uncle both loved Aunt Julie but she always treated them as best friends."

Pausing for a while, he said "They both had feelings for her but they both didn't confess it to each other. Uncle thought that dad treats her as a best friend and dad thought that uncle treats her as a best friend."

Ava chuckled and said, "Is it a triangle love story?"

"Yeah, So one day Uncle Arthur decided to propose to her but he didn't say it to dad. Uncle thought that he should propose to her first and then later say it to dad but dad got to know about this proposal thing through his classmates. Uncle Arthur got to know that dad also loved Aunt Julie and then their rift started." Nick sighed and said

"So, did they proposed to Aunt Julie." Ava interestingly asked

"They decided to confess it to Aunt Julie but to their surprise Aunt Julie invited them to her wedding," Nick said

"Pfff." Ava clutched her stomach and started laughing loud

"Babe, what happen?" Nick asked

"So, Aunt Julie never loved them but they are fighting for her without knowing about her feelings." Ava laughed and said

"Yeah, from that day Uncle and dad never talked normally and often fights for silly reason." Nick helplessly shook his head and said

"Did Aunt Mary and Aunt Amelia know about this?" Ava asked

"Yeah, that's the reason Mom and Aunt Mary hate when they fight each other." Nick chuckled and said

"Do Uncle Joe and Uncle Arthur talks to her?" Ava asked

"Yeah, they even chat frequently but Mom and Aunt doesn't know about it," Nick said

"That's cool." Ava chuckled and said

Just then the butler rushed towards them and said "Mam, lady boss is calling you."

"Yeah, I am coming." Ava smiled and said

The butler nodded his head and walked away.

"You aren't going anywhere." Nick frowned and said

"Don't behave like a clingy boyfriend." Ava chuckled and said before giving a peck on his lips

"I love to cling on to you all the day." Nick chuckled and said

"Where did you learned these cheesy lines?" Ava chuckled and asked

"Anyway, I am not gonna stay even if you say two more cheesy lines." Ava smiled and said

"But—"

"Shut up and wait for me," Ava said and walked towards the kitchen
