Tales of The Mighty Dragonair

1048 The Prison World War - Part 16

The attack continued for an entire day without any rest. The enemy thought he got the chance at last to dispose of Arthur. However after long hours of attack and draining most of the green and grayish energies, Arthur still stood erect in front of their attack.

If they were dumb, they even would suspect something wrong here. However when they tried to cancel the attack, they were faced with something they never expected.

The attack didn't answer their orders and kept launching at Arthur without pause! They tried to stop it, tried everything for long hours but none worked.

It became clear now; something was definitely wrong!

However the shield already protected Arthur from their eyes. Not to mention the dense coverage from the attack itself.

No matter how they tried, the attack continued for an entire day. During this time, Arthur's dragonair energy kept ascending higher. Before this attack, the dragonair energy was already high, so high that even after absorbing all this energy and green fire it didn't show much improvement.

The one who got it better was the necromancer behind him. That man was now bathed under a concentrated and high quality form of the death energy.

Even his body was now emitting rumbles from time to time, as if something was exploding inside his body. Arthur couldn't notice that, but Gege did.

She transferred everything that was happening outside Arthur's perception since the attack started. When she told him about the necromancer, Arthur only felt happy about that.

After all, he tasted how precious this chance was. Having such an advanced necromancer meant a lot for Arthur's empire. Such necromancer would become a powerhouse, one who might rival armies all alone without the need for Arthur to worry about the end result.

In another viewpoint, what made Arthur really happy and much excited was the fact that the two forms of energies were getting depleted fast, even faster than what he initially thought.

After the passage of half a day, Arthur knew the enemies would have noticed something was amiss already. But as the attack continued, Arthur knew his bet was right and he had won this clash already.

He betted that when he started absorbing the green fire with the help of the necromancer, then the enemy would lose his control over the attack.

That explained why even after the passage of one day, and the two forms of energies got depleted from the two lands, the attack never stopped or showed signs of stopping.

It only stopped when the green mist and grayish death energy vanished from the two lands. Now Arthur knew the two lands were already vacant.

If there was a prison, then it should be that giant ball of metal hovering tens of miles away. When the attack stopped, Arthur regained his freedom and ability to move as he canceled his defensive technique.

But the necromancer was totally absorbed in evolving himself. After all, the amount of death energy absorbed during the past day was even much more than the entire energy he absorbed during his entire life.

"Take him in," As the necromancer wasn't in any form of fighting, Arthur ordered Gege to take him inside her garden world without hesitation, "bring forth a thousand originals, let's test this big ball of metal now."

He didn't dare to bring forth his originals before. This world was, after all, the one who was designed primarily to imprison them.

But after depleting the two forms of energies, Arthur dared to bring a few of them out as a test. He didn't bring everything out, in fear of a presence of a hidden agenda or a scheme he didn't notice yet.

"Woosh!" "Woosh!" "Woosh!"

The portals opened fast and the thousand originals appeared without delay. This time the portals never experienced the same pressure that constantly destroyed them. So they remained there, hovering over the originals and waiting for Arthur's new orders.

"What do you feel?" As the originals appeared, Arthur didn't hurry and ordered them to attack. He needed to test the changes he worked so hard to achieve before anything else.

During that long battle in this prison world, the state of war in the outside world was still the same. The enemy kept centering himself in the seven spots he invaded without showing any activities beyond that.

As for Arthur's armies, they kept harassing these seven armies, killing the useless mages using skeletons and elites using their top mages.

Despite the big losses of the enemy, grandmasters never showed up to join the fray. As Arthur expected, the enemy would dare to lose elites, but not grandmasters.

However Arthur was now ready to go back. Destroying that big metal prison stood between him and unifying this entire world. Besides, he needed time to deal with the prisoners inside this prison.

He still didn't know what condition they were in. In his opinion, the originals would become weak and exhausted, not able to join his armies anytime soon.

But he also was worried about their response towards him. After all these originals were trapped and tortured here for eons. If they showed him hostility, then Arthur would understand that.

"Answering the lord," one of the originals stepped forth before adding while deeply bowing, "this is the place where we were imprisoned before our mighty lord generously resurrected us."

'I know that," Arthur casually waved his hand before adding, "I'm asking about the restrictions in this world, are there any left?"

"No," the original firmly answered, "this world looks peaceful and calm without the past hostility it showed us before."

"Great," Arthur clapped his hands before adding, "listen up, you have one mission. Go there and smash that prison to pieces. Release everyone and make sure to not miss anyone."

"Thanks for the lord's grace," the originals all shouted in unison while Gege asked:

'Shall I bring more?'

"Not yet," despite her expectations, Arthur shook his head, "I still feel there is a hidden trap waiting for us at that prison."
