While Derek was driving, Isaac was asking him one question after another. "So how strong is he compared to his sister Allison?"

Derek just laughed at him and said, "Don't compare him with his sister. You know me as an Alpha, right?"

Isaac nodded, so Derek continued, "Well, nearly a year ago, he hunted down an entire pack of Alphas, and that too in a single night. And by my guess each of them was as strong as me or more."

Isaac hearing this gasped. Then asked, "Why did he do that?"

Derek smirked and said, "I heard the pack went after Selena. And damn they made the wrong move in that. Max and Selena, those two love birds have a history. He killed his own grandfather and his aunt for her."

Isaac suddenly got agitated and said, "Shit! Shit! Shit!"

Derek looking at him frowned and asked, "What's wrong, Isaac?"

Isaac looked at Derek and said, "It's Boyd."

Isaac said, "Since the start of this year Boyd saw that Max wasn't coming to school and thought that Max broke up with Selena, and.... he was courting her since then."

Derek was shocked, "Shit! Why am I hearing about this now?"

Isaac said, "Boyd begged us not to tell anyone. Scott and Stiles also warned him that there'll be trouble if he goes after her, but Boyd didn't listen."

Derek didn't say much, but just frowned and started driving faster. "Hope we make it in time."

Max was waiting in his home, and soon Scott and Allison came in.

Scott said with relief, "Man, am I glad to see you. Recently the town went to shit and we could use your help. And who's that girl?" Asked as he looked at Divina.

Max just smiled at him and said, "You guys could have called, you know that right? And she's Divina. A friend from New Orleans."

Allison just looked at him and said, "You finally found your way home, huh. Well, it's better late than never." And went in for a hug.

Scott just watched them and he and Allison also did the same thing.

Divina went to get some rest as she wasn't feeling much better.

Max looked at Scott and Allison and said, "You know that I'm her brother, right?"

Scott just shrugged and said, "Come on, Max. Me and her, We love each other."

Allison just blushed, as Selena laughed at them. Scott then asked, "And what about that girl. She doesn't talk or what?"

Max said, "She's just tired because of the journey. Tomorrow I'll introduce you guys." as smiled and didn't bother them and switched the channels in TV.

After a few minutes Erica came in with Boyd. Scott said, "Hi guys." as soon as he saw them.

But Boyd who saw Selena sitting in Max's ŀȧp, just lunged at Max. But before he could reach there, Selena just clawed at his face as she showed her red eyes. Erica was scared stiff because of this display.

Boyd looked at Selena and asked, "Why?" in a pleading tone.

Divina who heard the commotion came in running while chatting a spell ready to attack.

Max just waved and stopped her from attacking. Selena at this time came to Max's side and said, "He's Boyd. He was courting me from the beginning of this year. I think, as soon as he saw me with you his instincts took over."

Max frowned hearing this, "Well, his in-stinks. A little mutt dared to eye my girl and bȧrė his fangs at me in my house. Looks like you need to know your place, Boyd."

Boyd who was quiet suddenly said, "Don't think I don't know what you're doing. I know you're the werejaguar. And you're the one causing all this stuff in this town."

Max hearing this facepalms himself. "Why do you even think that way?"

At this time Erica spoke up, "You came to town just when Stiles get kidnapped, and you know exactly where he is and what's his condition, like, as if you're the one who kept him there. And don't think--"

At this time Scott pulled Erica back and shook his head. Max laughed hearing this, so did Divina.

Boyd looked at them and said, "Aren't you gonna say something? Or just gonna laugh like a madman?"

Max looked at Boyd and said, "I don't have to explain myself to a mutt like you." Then he turned to Divina and said, "Bind him. I'll have my time with him later."

Scott looked at Erica and said, "Just stay out of it. I warned Boyd from the beginning that there'll be trouble, and he didn't listen. And now attacking him in his house, that's just asking for getting himself killed."

Erica started at him and asked, "Why don't you all suspect him to be the werejaguar?"

At this time Selena came to their side and said, "Because if he didn't like us, we would all be dead before we know it." Erica didn't know how to reply to this, and just as she was about to say something, Selena interrupted her, "And I called him to came back to town to help us."

As they were chatting, Derek came in with Isaac as they carried the unconscious Stiles and placed him on the table.

Derek shouted, "Guys, we're losing him. Max we should go to a hospital and fast."

Max just waved at him and said, "In hospital by the time they identify which poison it is, he'll be dead. I have other ways to get rid of the poison."

As he was talking he placed his hand on Stiles ċhėst and poured in his ki. With the ki nourishing Stiles body, in a matter of minutes he coughed up the poison as he slowly opened his eyes. He looked at Max and said, "Welcome back, buddy."

Max smiled at him and said, "It's good to be back, Stiles."

Derek then looked at Stiles and check him to see if he was alright. After confirming that he was really alright everyone sighed in relief.
