John dumbfounded - since when Michael House is a female?!

Shawn on another hand still didn't realized that he misunderstand John. If John knew what his beloved brother thought, he definitely flipped the coffee table off.

Shawn try to be open minded person. The social now accepted homosexuality - same sex relationship. However to learn your own brother's partner is male, does felt awkward. He then asked John more about the person he would present tomorrow.

"So, how do you know him?"

Felt nothing weird about the question, John answered him truthfully. Brothers shouldn't lie - is what he believed in. You may keeping a secret or opt not to tell, but you could never tell a lie. That was their brother code - trust. Ever since the death of their parents, they now left protecting each other back.

"He was introduced by Sophie Shane during the EDEM gala."

"Sophie introduced him to you?! How did she knew him?"

Learning that the person he misunderstood as his brother's partner was introduced by his own eye candy, Shawn felt like being pranked.

"He helped her out in an incident. Since Vincent and I was near, she introduced us to him as well. Since then, we were acquainted."

"Incident? What happened to Sophie?"

"Owh, a fiancee quarrel. Nothing big."

John shrugged his shoulder, didn't bother to reply. Then he remembered something and mentioned it Shawn. EDEM was invited to attend one of the charity event organized by their close partner. To show support, John had agree to join the event. However he was double booked, so he had no choice but to let Shawn represent himself instead.

"When?"

"In a week time. 25th."

Shawn thought for a while, trying to recall his schedule. He then accepted the invite and send message to Delaila about his attendance to the event and and thinking that the event was a simple charity fundraising auction event, he allowed Delaila to make all arrangement without consulting him. Totally free out-of-jail pass. But that was the event flag he unexpectedly raised.
