THAT DAY I BECAME A STAR

Chapter 137 - CHAPTER 137: ARMOR CRAFTING (1)

The rest of the morning class was pretty chaotic. After the teacher found out that Cordel had been defeated by somebody else than the heroes, he turns pale like a dead person. I didn't know it would that much of a shock to learn that I defeated him. I didn't even get to hear his answer.

"What is the teacher's problem?!!! Screaming he wanted to bust our ears!!! Isn't Cordel a human as well?!!! Can't he lose a fight?!!!"

Pink panties girl is so angry right now her hair is practically raised above her head. The teacher was so doubtful of me that he went to Cordel while he was fighting to ask him.

"Well, it is not like it is something that is normal, after all."

"And so, what? Stopping our fight just when I was about to kick her ass!!!"

Cordel's team was fighting against Lanuvel's. And it seems pink panties girl has a grudge against her somehow. Well, not my problem..

I thought they were all heading to their next class but instead, every omega returns to the dorm. Time to make my escape.

"You are not coming with us?"

"N-no." Seriously, what is wrong with me? Every time I hear Farner's voice, I feel weird. My stomach is like there are worms wriggling inside, my breath goes crazy. I must investigate and find out what she did. But to who can I turn and ask anything.

"Ah…Escafol. If only you were here."

As I am walking to the pet's house, I reach the smithy. The sound of the hammers striking the iron and the fire of the furnace is so loud I wonder how the animals which are kept right next to it can sleep at all.

"Ah, I should try to ask them about the raizen." Since I lost my raizen, I should try t make a new one. And a new armor while I am at it.

I enter the smithy and find the same girl as before. Though this time, there is a customer as well.

"Welcome. Please have a sit. It will be your turn in a moment."

The girl points at chairs at the corner then looks back at her current customer.

"So, you want us to craft a gauntlet that will enhance the speed of your fireball scripts. But it will have to be light and comfortable. Is that correct?"

"Yes, exactly. And make it white. I want it to in perfect synch with my clothes."

"I see. Well, considering the current value of the materials needed plus the fees for the enhancement that will be sent to the church as well…" She scribbles something on a paper while lightly sticking her tongue out of her mouth.

"Don't worry about the money. I will be a named after the tournament that is coming in two years. Money is no-"

"200000 wellis."

"-Thing. Wait, what?"

"Since you want a light but comfortable and flexible gauntlets. The best possible materials we could use is arachny's silk. But it isn't available on the market so we will place an order at the guild. We must also buy crystals with the elemental fire Angas and the priest of the church who will perform the enhancement."

"B-b-but, I-"

"Surely, a 'named' like yourself wouldn't consider a mere 200.000 wellis as money."

This girl, no, every girl I have encountered in my life so far, has that hidden devil personality in them. It's quite frightening.

"I-I-I will come back later for the payment."

"Sorry, but we don't allow credit here. Or you can also find an adventurer who would accept to find the materials for you. The fees will be divided by half then."

"Eh? Really?"

"Yes. Since you aren't an adventurer yourself. Though I wouldn't recommend it because personal contracts with adventurers aren't recognized by the guild so they will likely ask for a higher price than the guild."

"Even so! That's a great idea!" The guy grabs the receptionist's hands with such enthusiasm you wouldn't believe he was about to cry the minute before.

"Well, if you say so." The receptionist slowly removes her hands and then takes the book where she was scribbling things. "I take it you won't place your order for now, then."

"No, I won't. I will find the materials first."

"I see. We will be waiting for you, then."

"Yes! Thank you!" He leaves with a big smile on his face. When he closes the door, the receptionist sighs heavily.

"Ah…Another idiot noble who thinks any adventurer would risk his life for close to nothing."

Should I leave as well?

"Oh, sorry. Mr.Dragonroad, correct?"

"You know me?"

"Weren't you here last time with master?"

"Master?"

"AH, you didn't know. The man who kneeled to you. He is our master smith."

"I see." He is a master smith?!!! That's so cool!!

"Have you come to see him? He is currently working but I am sure he can afford some time to see you."

"Well, I have actually come to have a weapon and an armor crafted."

"Oh…Then, do you have something particular in mind? Or would you like us to design it.?"
