The 12th Wedding - When love is reborn

Alisha reaches Zen's main office and doesn't find him in . Suddenly she feels a hand on her shoulder and turns around to find that it's Zen. 

"What are you doing here ? "

"Oh ... I just ... I was just walking by that's all "

"Walking by ? Don't you have your morning classes ?"

"Well I GUESS not since Neil was busy with a meeting and stuff "

"Yeah right but he may be here anytime now . " He straightens his glasses and enters his room as the guards salute him . Alisha walks behind him .

"So how did the meeting go ? What do you talk about by the way world peace and stuff ?"

"I'm impressed you do know what's going on in the palace " He says in his cold tone sitting on his is chair .

"What do you mean by that ? Ofcourse I would . Anyways I came here to check you . How are you feeling ?"

"Really ? Why ? Was something wrong with me ? "

"What ? There was everything with you yesterday remember!  "

"Yesterday ? What happened?  I don't remember such a thing . What's with you today you are a lot cheerful than usual ." Alisha's eyebrows twitched .

Ofcourse he is pretending not to remember . He is so full of himself . What a prideful conceited man ! Jeez he is just trying to make a fool of myself and here I thought I could enjoy teasing him .

"Never mind that . You look fine so let's go somewhere together "

"What are you talking about ? I'm not free like you I have lots of work . I'm a busy man and you should know my position . I hate procrastination. " Alisha keeps her hand on her forehead .

"Oh God ... I know you are a king and all but you are a human  too so spend some time for yourself "

"Spend time for me or for you ?"

"Jeez ! Whatever but make sometime somehow by the way did you always wear glasses ?"

"Yes but that's only when I have paperwork today " He says running his eyes through the documents .

"I see. You look nice and different . It suits you "

****silence *******

Jeez am I expecting him to thank me for the compliment that would obviously never happen . I look so dumb right now trying to initiate a conversation.  He is so tough well at least he is answering me . May be he is in a good mood .

"Thank you ! "

OMG what the ? He actually said ...he thanked me ...Aww  he does have an adorable side to him . Well anyways why am I getting so hyped up about it . I don't know but it makes me happy !

"You okay ?"

"Yes yes I'm fine !" Alisha nods as they are interrupted by a knock on the door . Neil comes in handing a scroll to Zen .

"A letter Your Majesty ! It's from Kanaho "

" Kanaho Huh... then it has to be .... " Zen opens the scroll and reads the content . His lips take a shape of a vibrant smile . He looked happy .

"Is he ?..."

"It's Erwin.  He is going to come here next week ."

"I see. That's a good news Your Majesty ! Well then we have to prepare for his arrival ."

" Yes of course . Well I'll talk to you about it later . Alisha do you have something to tell me ? "

"No .. its nothing I can't help if you are busy . "

"I apologise My lady for not being able to conduct your morning classes but I have made arrangements I'll take it now "

"Now ? No way ! I'm not in a mood to study "

"Did you forget your promise so soon My  lady ? If that's the case than I'm afraid I won't be able to do anything for you " Neil says reminding her of the promise to help her meet Zorro by not skipping her classes .

"Huh....You are so cruel Fine  I will . Let's go but finish it soon I have some important work to do ."

"Sure sure. ..!!" They both leave as Zen looks on .

"She is so noisy ! " He says entangling his fingers and resting them under his chin .
