The 12th Wedding - When love is reborn

"Not acknowledged haan ? Hmm living in a royal family is tough especially for kids like me . I don't like walking on others footsteps nor learn things forced upon me . I like to follow what my heart desires . Meeting the palace standards and behave the way the royalty desires was just out of question for me but knowing my position I did contribute to the family . I couldn't do that for long . I wanted to travel the world , experience new things , unravel secrets , listen to tales , meet new people . .... All This we weren't allowed to dream . So I left . I agree I abandoned my duties as the crown prince . I agree I let my young brother take responsibility far too soon.  I had no choice though . My people would never be happy even if I were to rule . It was better to leave than regret later . Although I believed Zen to be quite efficient much better than me . I always felt he was born to rule . He was just the type . He was very dedicated to everything he did . Today when I see him I'm relieved . I'm glad . My decision wasn't wrong . It all happened for good  and thanks to Zen I'm not despised that much . I'm thankful atleast they let me live my life " Alisha could notice the water filled eyes , he tried his best not to let it out . She could see the pain . The amount of agony he suffered . The kind of comments made on him.  The way people viewed him.  He had to bear with everything for the sake of his will . His needs and desires . His perception of life was indeed different .

"I'm sorry . I shouldn't have asked ."

"No .. its not your fault . I want you to know so that you become one of those people who wouldn't resent me . Atleast you won't look at me the way others look . It's not that it bothers me but I don't want it to effect you . "

"Thank you . I don't know what you went through but I'm sure it wouldn't have been pleasant . It's funny but before I could meet Zen I decided to change him . I could see his eyes . I had never seen such lifeless eyes before  and it bothered me a lot . Trust me it still does  . "

"I know .. I know it's difficult but you will find a way . You are going to be his wife after all . Nobody would possibly understand him better than you " He smiled as Alisha blushed and looked away .

"So tell me are you the only one with such vibrant looking hair ? "

"Eh. .... Yeah . For some reason I'm the only one born with this hair hehe ... "

"Ohhhh.... Very beautiful indeed . Makes me want to touch it "

"Touch what ? ! " Zen shouted . His bright red cloak fluttering as he stood next to a fountain . 

" Mind your own business and stay away from my wife " He glared . The colour of his eyes changed very frequently when he was angry .

"For God sake Alisha Why can't you just sit in your room quietly ? Don't you understand when I tell you once !? How much of a passion do you have to talk to other people after I warned you yesterday ? Have you taken me so lightly ? I think it's time I teach you your position ! Don't try to go beyond your limits !" His grip was even more tighter and Alisha flinched in pain . She was about to cry . Her voice seemed to stuck in her throat . Nobody ever spoke to her in such a rude way .

"Zen stop it ! What are you doing ? It's not her fault  I asked her to walk with me . Besides why are you so pissed ? Just what has gone wrong with you ?"

"I don't want to be lectured from someone who has lost his path in life . Someone who is till searching for that light of appreciation.  Would you just leave if your business here is done ?  Nobody wants you here anyway !"

"That's enough . You don't have to be so cocky . What you are now is all thanks to me . I gave you that power don't forget . Besides I just wanted to be a part of my brother's happiness . Since you are still the same I regret coming here as well " Alvyn walked away .

"Wait !.... Huh. .. " Alisha forced herself out of Zen's hold .
